I recently visited Nuffield Health The Holly Hospital and had a very positive experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. The check-in process was smooth and well-organised, and the hospital environment was clean, modern, and comfortable. Waiting times were minimal, and everything ran on schedule. The medical team were polite, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain each step clearly, which helped me feel reassured throughout the visit. Any tests or procedures were carried out efficiently, and I felt well looked after at all times. Overall, The Holly Hospital provided an excellent standard of care, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking prompt, professional, and compassionate treatment.

Due to my individual circumstances there was some confusion in relation to payment and that spilled over onto me personally as well as causing stress across the whole procedure at the outset. This was resolved but exposes the fact that some attention needs to be paid to the way things are looked at and handles when the circumstances fall outside of the general conventions of the service provided. In the end it was all sorted out but the initial confusion and stress could have been avoided. I have no complaints but was a bit surprised at the apparent chaos at the outset. I have no idea if any one aspect was to blame, I think it was probably general confusion in relation to gaps in communication between the parties involved in payment etc.

I recently had robotic laparoscopic cholecystectomy at Ross Hall hospital. My surgery went very smoothly with a very quick uneventful recovery. I was home the same day, and back to work in less than 3 weeks. Having robotic surgery meant I required minimal pain relief post op, and I felt great. Mr Renwick as excellent at explaining exactly what the procedure involved, post op complications, where my scars would be so I knew exactly what I was expecting. After surgery he explained in depth how the surgery went, and followed up with pathology report at my 6 week review. All in all an excellent consultant and I felt safe allowing him to carry out my procedure

My whole experience at Genesis Care was beyond excellent from start to finish. Dr Good initially explained the SABR procedure to me and had such a pleasant manner I felt immediately at ease. His professionalism made me confident in both him and his treatment plan. As an anxious patient I was incredibly grateful for his excellent bedside manner. He acted promptly to get my treatment started and followed up soon after completion to ensure I was well. He is not only a renowned expert in SABR but has the ability to make you feel like a person and not just a patient. I felt in very competent and genuinely kind hands.

It was a really welcoming and professsional. Ms Ray was very friendly and welcoming. She put my daughter as ease. There was a slight confusion with the xray as my daughter didn’t realise she was meant to drop the form round to the x Ray department so we were waiting in the main reception for a while before I asked how long it would be. However it was quick to get the xray and bloods. My only issue was the parking. There were so many areas for consultants, disabled, oncology, staff, which is understandable but it meant we had to drive around 3 times to find a space.

The staff were excellent, highly professional and attentive. Tommy Chan was also reassuring and supportive. He was kind and very personable. He put me at ease. I was able to ask questions and the clinicians were very helpful. I would have liked a recap of exactly what the procedure would entail but I forgot to request this. I’m not sure if I have wires in my toe but I think I do. I’m very grateful to the whole team for their excellent care. Thank you!

Everything went very well on my visit to the clinic the staff were very helpful and attentive and there was no waiting time for my appointment and everything was explained to me as it progressed I would recommend the candover clinic to my friends and family Mr Nicholls found that my shoulder was most serious than at first thought by a previous consultant in Southampton and more than grateful to him and his team for their support

Dr Cichero did bunion surgery on my left foot and also loosened a ligament to relieve my mortons neuroma. He was so helpful and supportive and explained everything clearly. He listened to my concerns and addressed them and tailored his surgery to accommodate what I felt comfortable with - he helped me choose a more appropriate option for the the mortons neuroma. He ultimately did a fantastic job.

Overall, it was a great experience. My only suggestion would be to consider allowing patients to complete any required forms online in advance of their appointment. Being asked to fill out paper forms upon arrival—particularly after having already completed information online—feels a little outdated and could be streamlined for greater convenience.

Mr Nikkhah came highly recommended and he lived up to his reputation. He went above and beyond to operate on my teenage son, who had a complicated fracture needing pins and surgery.
