Mr Tim Biggs demonstrates a professional and clear approach during patient interactions. Many patients report significant improvement in breathing from nasal procedures, including rhinoseptoplasty or septoplasty, addressing conditions such as deviated septum and nasal polyps. This improved breathing leads to a better quality of life, encompassing enhanced sleep and increased confidence. Key themes highlighted in reviews involve successful septorhinoplasty, deviated septum correction, septoplasty, rhinoplasty, Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, and treatment for nasal polyps.
Elite professional

Thank you for the review
Without this operation I would still be struggling to sleep and breath correctly and comfortably at night. This has greatly improved my quality of life and makes my working day much easier

Thank you
I had Rhinoseptoplasty conducted by Mr Biggs and recently had my three-month assessment - and I can say I am thrilled with the outcome. For context I have suffered with a quite severe deviated septum for most of my life and in the last year or so I was having real challenges breathing at night. I had had previous septoplasty with another surgeon that did not provide the expected results and so I sought out another surgeon. After much research I came to Mr Biggs who thoroughly examined my nose, presented the options and then went on to perform flawless surgery (which was technically a revision procedure). The results more than exceeded my expectations. Mr Biggs is a wonderfully caring surgeon who took the time to go over all my questions and gave me great reassurance. Especially after my failed first surgery. I am so happy I found him. I would highly recommend him.

Thank you for the kind review. So glad I could help.

Orthopaedic SurgeonI have known Tim since our very earliest days of ENT training. To this day he is without doubt one of the most well-published academics I know and his aptitude for ENT surgery is exemplar. It came as no surprise that Tim has gone on to become a highly regarded ENT surgeon in the south of England with a particular specialist interest in rhinology & facial plastics. Beyond all of this he is also a very good hearted person who has excellent manner with patients. It is a pleasure to offer my long-standing endorsement.

In this video, Mr Tim Biggs, Consultant ENT Surgeon, Rhinologist, and Facial Plastic Surgeon at Adnova Clinic, Fareham, discusses piezoelectric rhinoplasty and why it has become central to his surgical practice. Piezo technology uses ultrasonic energy to cut and reshape bone with a level of precision that conventional osteotomes cannot match. Because the device acts selectively on hard tissue, the surrounding soft tissue, blood vessels, and mucosa are preserved rather than disrupted. The result for patients is significantly less bruising and swelling, a more comfortable recovery, and a faster return to normal life.Mr Biggs also explains how Piezo technology enables him to perform dorsal preservation rhinoplasty, a modern technique that remodels the nasal bridge without removing it. Combining Piezo with dorsal preservation allows him to achieve natural, refined results with greater consistency and a smoother healing trajectory. Mr Biggs is one of the only surgeons in Hampshire performing both techniques.

Male and female rhinoplasty goals can differ, but the approach is always individual. For many men, the focus is on maintaining a straight bridge and natural structure. For many women, a softer dorsal curve and a slightly more rotated tip may be preferred. Every surgical plan is tailored to the patient’s anatomy and aesthetic goals following detailed consultation. #rhinoplasty #adnovaclinic #facialsurgery #plasticsurgeryuk #patientfirst".

Many patients ask about non-surgical (filler) rhinoplasty. While it can have a role in very select cases, it’s important to understand its limitations and risks. Key considerations: • Fillers typically add volume, meaning the nose often appears larger • Results are temporary and require repeat treatments • Prior filler can make future surgical rhinoplasty more complex • There are medical risks, including infection and contour irregularities • In rare cases, serious complications can occur For patients with structural concerns or breathing issues, surgery is often the more appropriate long-term solution. In experienced hands, filler rhinoplasty may be suitable for small, specific imperfections, but it isn’t the right option for everyone. A thorough consultation is essential to decide what’s safest and most effective for each individual. — Mr Tim Biggs Consultant Rhinologist 📍 Adnova Clinic (Educational content only. ![Adnova Clinic on Instagram: "Breathing difficulties are not always visible from the outside.
Many patients present with ongoing nasal obstruction despite having a nose that appears externally straight or “normal.” In these situations, the underlying cause is often functional rather than cosmetic.
There are several common reasons why nasal airflow may be affected, including:
• A deviated nasal septum causing internal narrowing or obstruction
• Enlarged turbinates, often associated with allergies or hay fever
• Inflammatory conditions such as nasal polyps or chronic sinus disease
• Dynamic or structural nasal valve collapse, where weakened cartilage affects airflow during breathing
One particularly overlooked issue is internal nasal valve or upper lateral cartilage collapse. This may not always be obvious during a routine examination, which is why a detailed functional nasal assessment can be important in patients with persistent symptoms.
Functional septorhinoplasty is a procedure designed to improve nasal airflow and breathing mechanics whilst preserving — and in some cases refining — the external structure of the nose when appropriate.
As always, symptoms, anatomy, and treatment suitability vary between individuals, which is why careful assessment and personalised advice remain essential.
