Very quick service from booking to resolution. Excellent location - easy to get to and none of the Nuffield parking nonsense.
Dr Chessman was brilliant. He put me at ease immediately and explained everything very clearly. He was gentle when doing the ear wax clearance and ensured I was comfortable. He took time to understand my issue and took my pain and concern seriously. I left feeling well informed and listened to. I am very appreciative of the care provided.
I can not fault the treatment received in any way. I felt totally reassured.
Visted to have my ears micro-suctioned. Mr Chessman put me at my ease and reassured me, fully explaining the process throughout the procedure. Would definitely go back to him again if need be and would highly recommend him as a consultant.
I was very pleased as my hearing test showed that my hearing had improved considerably after having a stapedectomy last November and that the scar was healing well.
Mr Chessman was calm, reassuring and knowledgeable. He put my 5 year old daughter at ease and was great at explaining everything clearly and at her level where needed.
Good explanations and review. Clear forward actions and steps, felt listened to and heard.
The surgery I had was second to none. Was seen to quickly on the day with the procedure working brilliantly with amazing results! Can’t recommend Doctor Chessman highly enough.
Mr Chessman has been looking after me after having had an operation in London. He is a caring and compassionate consultant. I could not ask for more from an individual.
Very good consultation, extremely happy with the outcome.
I have the pleasure of working closely with Mr Rob Chessman as a colleague at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust and Hampshire ENT Clinics. He is an outstanding otologist and general ENT surgeon whose calm manner, meticulous surgery and clear communication consistently inspire confidence in both patients and colleagues alike. I have no hesitation in recommending Rob for an ear/otology issue. He is fantastic!
