Dr Manjaly is a wonderful doctor. After years of waiting to have my ear operation, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He made sure I felt comfortable and reassured throughout the entire procedure, and everything went smoothly. You really are in excellent hands with him. Mr Manjaly was super caring , considerate and very professional. He made sure that I was assured before the procedure and I felt comfortable . He spoke to me during the procedure as well while I was sedated making sure everything was going in the right direction . When I came back after two weeks for the following appointment I have told him I was very fortunate to meet a such wonderful doctor!

We are deeply grateful to Dr Joseph Manjaly for his expertise. My daughter had a perforated eardrum and had undergone repeated unsuccessful surgeries elsewhere. She had been under the care of an ENT specialist for 10 years in an effort to improve her quality of life. After researching Dr Manjaly online and being impressed by his credentials, we decided to seek treatment from him. I honestly don’t know where to start with how grateful I am to Dr Joe Manjaly and the entire ENT and cochlear team. I had been offered a cochlear implant around ten years ago, but I was too scared to go ahead. I was frightened of the surgery, worried about how everything would sound afterwards, and even concerned about the cosmetic side of having an implant. I think I was also struggling to fully acknowledge just how severe my hearing loss had become and how much it was affecting my life physically, emotionally and practically. I eventually lost my hearing properly in my late twenties, and having my son made me realise I couldn’t keep putting it off. As a child with additional needs, his safety and development were hugely important to me. I wanted to be able to hear him respond to me, understand his speech and be able to communicate with him properly. I also wanted to feel safe again in everyday life. From meeting Dr Manjaly and the ENT team during my assessments, through my surgery and all of my aftercare, I have felt completely supported. Everything was explained to me in a way I could understand. I was made aware that recovery and rehabilitation might not be linear, and I was always given complete transparency about my options. Mr Manjaly treated my dad, who is 86 years old and was struggling with his hearing, feeling left out of conversations amongst family and friends. That was making him feel sad and frustrated. The family also struggled with the high volume of noise when he was watching TV. After the procedure, my dad can hear and participate in conversations. I have suffered from a gradual progressive hearing loss and tinnitus in one ear which started in my 30’s and despite seeing several doctors the cause was never diagnosed and I was offered no help. My left ear was almost completely deaf and this was having a serious impact on my life. Finally after nearly 40 years my new GP suggested that I go to see Mr Manjaly which I did - not expecting to be told anything different. This was the best decision ever! It’s been life changing.
