I was recommended to Dr Manjaly following ongoing issues and previous surgery to my ear. From the initial consultation meeting, Dr Manjaly has demonstrated absolute professionalism and excellent patient care, with experience and knowledge that fully put me at ease. Dr Manjaly performed my ear surgery in February with Dr Peter Thomas the Anaesthetist who was extremely professional and knowledgeable with support from Nurse Caroline who was also very caring and kind. All of the team put me at ease, ensured I was comfortable and sincerely listened to any concerns I had. I am truly grateful for their support and care. I have recently had a follow up appointment after surgery and am extremely happy with the results.

If going to a doctor can be pleasurable this was it! I came to Mr Manjaly with severe dizzyness and as it turned out wax in an ear where the eardrum had a perforation. From start to finish - removing wax and ultimately closing up the perforation he was kind, patient, considerate and took the time to listen He explained everything and was reassuring.

Mr Manjaly successfully carried out a stapedectomy without an anaesthetic for my 93 yr old father: the restoration of hearing is amazing. Mr Manjaly was clear in his explanations and always straightforward. We are all very grateful.

Mr Manjaly was substituted at the last minute for the consultant who was supposed to perform my stapedectomy. He was absolutely brilliant! He is very experienced in his field and has an excellent bedside manner which made feel at ease. He has always made himself available to me if I had a further hearing issues, often squeezing me into his clinics at the last minute. He is an absolute credit to his profession and the GOAT of the ENT department!

I presented to Joe with idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss in my right ear. Joe was so thoughtful and reassuring and explained my options and we continued a series of intratympanic steroid injections. I had a total of five injections over a period of two weeks. I returned after week three to find that my hearing had improved from severe hearing loss (80db) in my right ear right back to normal. Joe’s calm measured approach and his expertise at the intratympanic injections reassured me throughout the whole process.
