At all stages I was kept well informed about why and when procedures were occuring

We were late arriving! Greeted well and had our Ops done quickly as Patient transport was waiting. Excellent staff with an outstanding consultant carrying out the procedures

All went very smoothly from start to finish, everything was explained in a friendly but professional manner.

Explained to me how the cataract procedure would be done,so I felt quite calm..

The whole experience on the day was exceptional from the initial contact at reception and subsequent care when taken to the procedure area. Upon entering the procedure room Dr. Shafiq was very calming reassuring and informative throughout the procedure which went remarkably well. Dr. Shafiq was totally in control and the end result could not be better. I have always had problems with my eyesight and find it difficult to believe the improvement. Having worn contact lenses for a number of years and previously spectacles from a very early age I now find no need for a lens in my left eye with regard to distance. The improvement is amazing. I have as yet to go back for my right eye in the near future. I would recommend Newmedica to anyone considering cataract surgery. Regards

All apprehension and fears were soon washed away by the staff. Their explanation at every stage, their friendliness, positiveness was calming.

I was seen soon after arriving at the New Medica clinic. I was accompanied by a nurse for the whole procedure hee was friendly and easy to talk to and answered all my questions

Everyone was wonderful gave me complete confidence and all seem so very cheerful and competent, I would highly recommend.

Excellent from start to finish. Staff were all helpful and could not do more. Whole experience was better than I ever expected. Can't wait to have the second eye done.
