Very friendly, efficient service. I was seen at the appointed time, no waiting. All staff were polite, informative and respectful. The surgeon came to introduce himself before the procedure, outlined the process and gave me the opportunities to ask any questions. I felt included in any decision making from the start, including the initial consultation appointment. The procedure was speedy and pain free. I had no post operative problems, apart from a little blurring and watering in the eye for a few hours. I was impressed that the staff at the centre phoned me early next morning to check that I had no issues with my eye. It was a very positive experience all in all.

Excellent service starting with my out patients appointment where my tests were taken and information and discussion of what cataract surgery I would require. Then continued contact up to date and after day of my Surgery. Everyone was Amazing but must single out Caron Perry who looked after me on the day of my surgery soothed any nerves and was with me from beginning to end. And Nicholas Wride Ophthalmologist Consultant and team who did my procedure. You are all stars. I’m into day four of my recovery its been virtually pain free a couple of paracetamol did the trick and now I can see clearer than I have done for years and can’t wait to get my other eye done. Thank you.

Efficient, professional, reassuring. Each member of staff put me at my ease. The procedure was clssrly explained. Mr Wride made me feel confident and comfortable. From start to finish the whole experience was friendly , calm , reassuring . I was so nervous on the day of the op but that soon changed ! I was made to feel relaxed with music playing , chatting and even the odd joke . Never felt a thing and the results are amazing I now have symmetrical eyes and don’t look odd anymore . Definitely recommend New Medica

I was anxious about the appointment as it was an optician that referred me for eyelid surgery . Additionally as it was school holiday I had to bring my twin 6 year old grandsons. The 2 ladies on reception were welcoming . The Doctor/surgeon Miss Clarke was superb . There could have been a millionaire in the waiting room , but I felt I was treated no differently. Miss Clarke asked me salient questions about my floppy lids . After examining me she agreed that surgery would indeed help , she talked me through the surgery , I would be awake and what the procedure entailed . What to expect post-procedure, then gave me a brochure and an indicative month . The whole appointment was a comfortable and pleasant experience, which alleviated a lot of anxiety.
