As previous question. Dr Clarke kept me informed throughout the operation gave more injection as freezing started to wear off and her actions were gentle. I felt no pain throughout and was delighted with service and final result. Next eye planned for October.
Dr Clarke was a kind , empathetic, and reassuring . She has a pleasant , non discriminative demeanour which made me feel I was an important patient . Dr Clarke asked me questions appertaining to my eyelids . She then kindly explained what the procedure would entail and the post surgery expectations, she also mentioned the few problems that could occur . She was an absolute treasure , I’m so delighted I was allocated to her
I have had two operations at Newmedica Newcastle, both carried out by Miss Lucy Clarke, a brow lift fallowed by reduction of both upper eyelids. The entire experience from first consultation to post op telephone call has been exemplary. Miss Clarke and her team are not only consummate professionals in their field but compassionate and empathetic, fully understanding the natural concerns of their patients and relaxing them, through warm welcome at reception, pre op assessment, the surgery itself and providing a welcome post op cup of mochachino and booking a return home NHS car. I cannot thank nor praise Newmedica enough and yes, would strongly recommend them to anyone in need of their clinical expertise. Lucy is so lovely. She told me what she could do with my eye damage without giving false hope. She had empathy for my situation as I had struggled and been let down for 20 years after my work place accident. Lucy and her team made me feel comfortable during the operation and their care for me was brilliant. I made my recovery well and my operation was a great success. I can’t thank Lucy enough for her professionalism and care throughout my patient care and giving me my confidence back.
