Cooden Medical Group

Cooden Medical Group is a private medical clinic based in Bexhill, East Sussex. Founded by interventional radiologist Dr Mohamad Faris, the clinic provides surgical and non-surgical care across venous disease, aesthetics, dermatology, women’s health, cosmetic surgery and selected general medical services. The service is delivered by a multidisciplinary team that includes vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, dermatology and cardiology consultants, plastic surgery, urology, ophthalmology and women’s health specialists, alongside registered nurses and aesthetic practitioners.

Venous services cover assessment and treatment of varicose, reticular and thread veins. Techniques offered include radiofrequency ablation (Venefit/ClosureFast), endovenous laser ablation, foam sclerotherapy, microsclerotherapy and avulsions/stab phlebectomy, with care directed by vascular and interventional specialists.

Aesthetics services include injectable treatments, skin boosters, dermal fillers, muscle-relaxing injections, medical microneedling (Dermaroller/Dermapen), LED light therapy (Dermalux), mesotherapy, non-surgical facelift approaches such as the 8-point and Silhouette Soft techniques, PRP for hair loss, and a range of facials and topical skincare procedures. Laser hair removal is delivered by trained practitioners for long-term hair reduction.

The skin clinic manages common dermatological conditions such as acne, eczema, rosacea and psoriasis, and provides a one-stop lesion service for procedures including removal of moles and skin tags. Women’s health services include consultation and investigation for menstrual problems, menopause care and HRT, contraception advice and smear testing, with selected tests available on the day.

Cosmetic and plastic surgery is led by Mr John Pereira and includes procedures such as blepharoplasty, pinnaplasty, lobuloplasty, gynaecomastia surgery, scar revision, tattoo excision and liposuction. Additional medical services include HGV (D4) driver medical examinations in line with DVLA standards and outpatient vasectomy under local anaesthetic.
