About Mr John Pereira
Mr John Pereira is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with more than two decades of consultant-level experience. He began his medical training at Guy’s Hospital in 1986 and, after completing general surgical training, was appointed to the Thames Regional Specialist Training Programme in Plastic Surgery.
He is fully trained in the UK and is on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. He is also certified by the Royal College of Surgeons to provide the full range of surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures.
Mr Pereira is a member of the UK Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (UKAAPS) and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). He regularly attends international conferences to maintain up-to-date knowledge of advances in aesthetic techniques.
Previously a full-time Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead, Mr Pereira has run his private practice for over 20 years, making him one of the longest-serving consultants in the hospitals that he works at.
His subspecialty interests include cosmetic surgery of the face, brow, neck and eyelids, employing advanced deep-plane techniques and facial augmentation with fat and implants where indicated.
He also provides the full selection of cosmetic surgery operations of the breast, chest and abdomen. His male and female patients come from the local counties and abroad. Mr Pereira also manages selected cases of migraine using Botox and surgical procedures.
Mr Pereira works with his wife Beverley to provide a friendly, personal service. They pride themselves on achieving the best results with low complications by making sure that all choices are made in a fully informed and unrushed manner. Mr Pereira enjoys his work as much today as when he started his surgical career over 3 decades ago. His experience and results have made him a sought after surgeon by many of his colleagues and their families. Despite running a busy practice for many years he still believes in maintaining very competitive prices so that good, safe surgery remains within reach of "regular" people and not just the wealthy or celebrities.

I cannot praise Mr. Pereira highly enough. The whole team were incredibly supportive. They listened, advised and gave me the confidence to trust in them. Mr Pereira and his PA Beverley are the nicest and most personable medical professionals I have ever dealt with. I would recommend them without hesitation. I am delighted with the results of my surgery. I look and feel fabulous. My whole experience was pain free and I’d happily do it again (if I ever needed to). Mr Pereira was amazing - totally professional from my initial consultation explaining the procedure in detail. He was reassuring and everything was managed excellently.

Mr Pereira and his assistant Bev were so professional, explaining the process thoroughly. They were friendly and approachable both during the consultation and the procedure. I felt relaxed and confident that I was in the care of experts. Aftercare was also very good and meticulous.

Everyone is nervous about changing their appearance, Mr Pereira and his lovely assistant gave me everything I needed in reassurance and confidence to undertake the procedure.
I love eyelid surgery. We talk to people and look into their eyes, so having confidence around your eyelid appearance and feeling fresh and bright is important.
