First Class service from Mr Evans ; gave great feeling of confidence and thoroughness. Sadly on my informing Mr Evans of bi-ventricular pacemaker ;? Brought everything to a close; as the hospital will not now countenance surgery when pacemaker installed:- Greatly saddened by this - as not only will be a different surgeon; but great inconvenience as will Now have to travel over 60 miles to southern Manchester. Although once informed of medical reason; due to bi-ventricular pacemaker and such capability if some difficulty occurred - much greater requirement for increased equipment to monitor pacemaker and in the unlikely event of any difficulty ; far far higher capability of medical Intervention. Sadly now to go to Alexandra hospital at Cheadle.,and of course a different surgeon; sadly. david t ;

After many months of difficulties prompted by the sudden loss of my husband, I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. Communication with Kernow Psychiatry has been very responsive and I booked an initial appointment to discuss my mental health difficulties. Dr Reid welcomed me into a comfortable room at the wellness hub, she immediately put me at ease and took care make sure I was settled and ready to start. After the hour, Dr Reid summarised what she saw as the key priorities to getting me back on an even keel, suggesting a clear approach to addressing my intersecting issues. I am looking forward to my follow up appointment and the start of my recovery treatment plan. I only wish I’d followed my instincts sooner and booked in months ago.

I had an online ADHD assessment with Bernhard Kelley-Patterson. Bernhard was very friendly and professional, I felt at ease throughout the appointment and would happily talk with him again. So far my experience with Skylight has been very positive, the wait times between communication emails are generally 3-5 days and it took approximately 8 weeks to get my first appointment after the registering my interest. Considering the NHS waiting list for an ADHD assessment is 4 years, I’d say that pretty damn good. I would highly recommend opting for Skylight through the ‘Right to Choose’ pathway via the NHS. I really appreciated being able to get a quick appointment and having my scan done by a doctor radiologist who could then explain what he saw and give me some advice. The scan was done quickly and it allowed me to promptly get the scan done for my GP. I was super pleased that the report arrived quickly, it was there in my emails before I even got home! There was a chaperone there too, the clinic was nice and the receptionist was very warm and friendly and efficient. All in all a great discovery for me as I felt the prices were very reasonable for private scans so I could use the service for regular health checks..

When undertaking base line assessment prior to the procedure, this was conducted in the reception area. During this taking place, 3 other people arrived and seated themselves in the reception area. We were unclear if they were members of the public, staff or other appointments. They were not introduced to us as observers for my treatment. The introduction didn't occur until Prof Zveorov arrived, then introductions were made and my family was made aware they were from other institutions to learn and observe. The support and treatment were excellent.

Professor Purkayastha was and is one of the most delightful doctor I’ve ever met ! Very professional and caring. He explains very well what is happening and what’s going to happen, asks a lot of questions and give a lot of advice which is really nice . He takes his time with his patients and care about his patients feelings and worries. One of the best surgeon you can wish for ! He came highly recommended and I can’t recommend him enough. Mr Saravelos and his team made us feel at such ease for our Frozen Embryo Transfer. He was so patient and helped talk through the procedure in a way I could understand. He kept me calm through the procedure, which previously have been a really painful experience for him. The Nurse Raj was also great and helpful and managed to get all our prescriptions done before the transfer so we didn’t have to wait around. Really great time and brilliant experience.

Apart from slight discomfort the experience was much as expected. When the bandages came off on day three there was extensive bruising(as expected ) which is now reducing on day 6. I am walking the recommended 10,000steps a day. Overall I am satisfied with the treatment.
