I recently visited the Clinic for some treatment as I was experiencing vulvodynia and a lot of pain and muscle tightness that impacted my relationships and is very upsetting as I was not sure what the solutions/ treatments could be to help. I did some research and contacted Elite Aesthetics as well as a couple of other clinics to get some advice and treatment options. I was extremely impressed with the information, advice, discretion and kindness shown to be by Shiva when I initially called. Shiva spoke to the Dr and got all the relevant information for me from Dr Elgerta (Elle) Ismaili. I was made to feel at ease and had confidence in the solution that would be offered. I attended my first appointment and consultation and met with Dr Elle, who is extremely compassionate and understanding and made me feel comfortable to share my concerns and what I was experiencing. I had always felt there was something wrong with me and that I was not normal, even though am in my mid 40's it is something I had accepted would not get better and I would always experience extensive pain and tightness that was actually quite unbearing and very sore. Dr Elle explained everything clearly through the consultation and has such a warm and kind nature. I decided to go ahead with the treatment which is botox injections that help relax the muscle tightness, even though I was aware that it may not work or be effective as every individual is different. I returned for a top up after 2 weeks as during that time I was so surprised and positively shocked and happy how the muscles had relaxed and the issues I had experienced for many years had improved rapidly, I really couldn't believe it. It has now been a week since my top up and I have noticed even more improvements and relaxation of the muscles. I wanted to share a detailed overview incase it can help someone else experiencing similar concerns and pain. I am based in London but was happy to travel to the clinic for this treatment as Dr Elle is an experienced gynaecologists and the best person to offer this treatment as it is very specialised and you need to ensure you are in the best hands. I really cant recommend Dr Elle enough and if I ever needed further treatment or other treatments I would definitely go and see her. Also, the team at Elite are exceptional from everyone I met with Shiva, Sarah and Casey. They are all so friendly and welcoming and make you feel at ease even if you are discussing a sensitive topic or concern. Thank you so much to you all, it really has been life changing - and I never thought that would be possible for me. I have so much gratitude for you all x

Professor Chinoy’s explanations and clinical opinion and advice were valuable and I ultimately mostly agreed with what he was saying (that I don’t have an autoimmune condition). However, I felt that his bedside manner and empathy was lacking and not up to expectation of his position. At times I felt slightly patronised, not fully understanding of the reasons for seeking a rheumatology review. Given I had completed the pre-visit questionnaire meticulously, I felt that he only focussed on certain aspects of the information, disregarded any positive information provided and therefore was not holistic. He didn’t appreciate that whilst I currently feel unable to be as physically active, it is not because I don’t want to or that I have never been inclined to exercise. I also felt when examining my weaker side, he did not take care to provide countermeasures (twice) despite me having said several times prior to examination that I felt that it is considerably weaker. In retrospect, it may have been more prudent for him to examine my stronger side (for better comparison) before the weak side. I would consider this a basic aspect of clinical examination.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Honestly blown away by this service I’m nearly 80 now, and I can’t even count how many doctor visits I’ve had in my life, but MyDoctor by Northern Health honestly left me a bit blown away. I wasn’t expecting much — you get used to being rushed through at my age — but I came off the call feeling like someone had finally taken the time to actually explain my own health to me. It felt different from the moment it started. No rushing, no talking over me, no making me feel like I was being dramatic. Just calm, proper care. I felt listened to in a way I haven’t in years. I actually felt like… well, like a person again, not someone they’re trying to hurry out the door. For the first time I understand what’s been setting things off, and what I need to do next time before it all gets too much. That alone is worth gold to me. I’ve been muddling along for years without this clarity. I’m honestly amazed. At my age you don’t expect to be surprised by much anymore, but this really did it. I’ll absolutely be using MyDoctor again — I wish I’d found it sooner.

I started the process under NHS care with no symptoms. After GP bloods, MRI, biopsy, CT, and bone scan (confirming the cancer was confined to the capsule), I was disappointed to hear that if I stayed on that path, nerve sparing would not be possible. A friend recommended I speak to Mr Laniado, and this was a turning point. It was clear from the start that I’d be in the most capable hands. His assessment was delivered in an authoritative yet compassionate manner – exactly what I was looking for. He organised a PSMA PET/CT scan which, as he had suspected, confirmed that nerve sparing would be both possible and safe due to the NeuroSAFE approach. (I also preferred the option of the Suprapubic tube). My mind was made up. I decided to self-pay and engage Mr Laniado. His office provided excellent support throughout with prompt and helpful communication. My faith in Mr Laniado was confirmed at each stage: prior to surgery, on the day, the day after, and during the follow-up. I have no hesitation in unreservedly recommending him to others in my situation.

Medical Prime has been the best service I had ever received. The team are empathetic, professional, hugely experienced & very transparent with regards to treatment. I feel so lucky to be in the very capable guidance & care of Dr Theodora Kalentzi along with Zarina who makes the whole booking process so easy. Going on HRT has been the best thing for me & what is wonderful is how Dr Theodora has such a pragmatic & calm approach. I was in a bit of a broken state not understanding what was wrong. By the end of my first appointment I felt really happy that I was ‘normal’ as Dr Theodora listened & was generous with her time in kindly sharing her knowledge of how this is a normal process that we women go through. How right she was as within a few weeks I felt myself again which was a huge relief. We continue to have regular appointments which are always so calm & helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Medical Prime & the amazing team to anyone. It has been one of the best decisions I have made.

The Joint Injection Clinic

A month ago I had the arthrosamid injection. I had never heard of it and initially I went online to find out how others were treating their oesteoarthritis. I found the Joint Clinic quite quickly and was amazed to read that this injection would last about 3 years rather than 3 months for the NHS cortisol injection. My knee was causing a lot of pain especially when the weather changed. I was unable to walk properly, I couldn't walk up or down stairs. My work involves walking and I really thought I would have to retire because of the pain. From day 2 of the injection, I was beginning to walk without as much pain, about 2 weeks later I wasn't limping or experiencing pain at all. It took about 3 weeks to be able to walk up and down stairs without pain. I no longer need anti inflammatory drugs (that was always hit or miss if they would work). I am very pleased with the outcome at the one month mark and I hope my knee pain is no more for years!

I had severe pain from Osteoarthritis which the NHS were throwing as much delay at as possible. I had a busy year planned with commitments abroad and it was impossible to to arrange a treatment plan. I consulted Ravi via a Spire hospital. He was able to format a plan, including pain relieving injections so that the replacement operation fitted in with the end of my travel arrangements. He explained everything clearly throughout the process ad then, with fantastic skill, carried out the operation. I only needed one night in the hospital and 17 days after was signed off by the physio as not requiring further attention. I walk with no limp at all and can climb stairs normally. Overall a great team led by a superb caring surgeon.

I met mr Rob Bethune at a preliminary meeting to discuss having a hernia repair. He explained everything very clearly and I decided to go ahead and have it done. On the day of the procedure I was escorted to a room to await my turn. The procedur was done under a local anesthletic and took about an hour and I was conscious all the time and then taken back to my room. I was allowed home after about an hour. I was a bit uncomfortable for about a week but have been 100 percent since with no repercussions. Mr Rob Bethune is a great surgeon.

This was my first experience of the Hillsborough Private Clinic and the staff were very professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. While this is an older style building is was well set out and immaculately clean and while I appreciate that space is at a premium a groundlevel toilet facility would be an asset as while I have no mobility issues I can see where climbing stairs to the bathroom could be an issue for some.

After my original consultation with a orthopaedic surgeon at a physiotherapy clinic in Doncaster, he wanted to put me on his list. He said I could have a new knee and be fit for Christmas. I said. I want Mr Haslam to operate on my right knee..I trust him. I haven't had any issues with my left knee. He operated on my friends Son's torn ligamentes. He'll br back playing Rugby again soon. Mr Paul Haslam is a genius

It was great to go through some of the rehab exercises with Josh to make sure I was confident to do these at home. All in all an great experience and Id have no hesitation in recommending Reflex 18 to others.
