Miss Mavrides is kind and empathetic and has a wonderful bedside manner. I had robotic surgery and was discharged after one night feeling great. I had very little discomfort and was back to my normal routine and work very quickly. I would highly recommend Miss Mavrides
I’m really happy with the care I received from Dr Eleni Mavridis. I had surgery to remove a dermoid cyst and a fibroid, and during the surgery she also found quite extensive endometriosis, which she was able to remove. Everything went really well and I felt very well looked after throughout the whole process. She explained things clearly, answered all my questions and made me feel much more relaxed about the surgery. I’m recovering really well now and feel so relieved knowing that the cyst, fibroid and endometriosis have all been dealt with. I’m very grateful to Dr Mavridis and would definitely recommend her.
Ms Mavrides is a fantastic surgeon. She was recommended to me as a specialist fibroid surgeon and the work she has done has been life changing. Really approachable and down to earth. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
I was referred to Dr Mavrides after my original surgeon became unavailable, and I’m truly grateful she became my doctor. I was initially nervous about the idea of surgery, but after my first appointment with her, I felt safe and trusted her completely. The robotic myomectomy was expected to be 4 hours, but it was 8 hours due to the difficulty removing my biggest fibroid. I was advised that if this was the case, they may switch to an open surgery. However, Dr Mavrides kept the surgery as it was, as she knew I was concerned about the post-surgery recovery. My scarring was minimal, and I recovered quickly. I can’t thank her and the rest of the staff for such a positive experience. She is an incredible doctor, and I highly recommend her.
From my first meeting with Eleni, it was clear I was in excellent hands. I was very anxious throughout my pregnancy due to previous loss, and Eleni was a source of constant support and guidance - especially out of hours! She was always only ever a phone call away and this made such a difference. I was nervous about birth, and had a lot of preferences which I discussed with Eleni. She supported me in having the most positive birth experience, and it truly was magical. It was everything I wanted and more. I am so grateful to have had her guide me through. I can't recommend Eleni highly enough, particularly for first-time mothers who want a doctor who is thorough, reassuring, and truly present throughout the whole journey. Thank you!!!
We met Eleni towards the end of my second pregnancy when I became high risk. She was extremely professional throughout and to the point, putting me and my baby first. I felt in safe hands and she clearly explained everything to me whilst reassuring me, given I had not had the best experience with my first pregnancy with the NHS. Eleni and the midwives worked really well as a team during my labour and I had a very positive experience. I can’t thank Eleni and the midwives enough.
I recently had an inpatient visit to the Princess Grace Hospital after an NHS hospital could not find the problem and was gratefully under the care of Dr Eleni Mavrides. I landed at the hospital at about 8pm, and Eleni came to my room after she had finished surgery at 11:45pm. Whilst my first interaction was rushed (understandable after a full day of surgery), I was reassured by her professionalism and not dismissing my reality about my pain. She thought outside of the box and involved other consultants to fix the problem. Despite it being a four day bank holiday, she looked after me throughout my stay there and ended up doing a robotic-assisted laparoscopy to remove a dermoid cyst, stage 1 endometriosis and a parafimbrial cyst. She managed to fit me in, even when there was a Junior Dr's strike going on. This was my second laparoscopy in two weeks, and her surgery was so much better. She improved the stitching so I have less of a scar. She was so lovely, fun, kind, professional, reassuring and knew her stuff. She is a very hardworking, inspiring and intelligent lady who I will use when I am pregnant.
Dr Mavrides is an exceptional doctor and also the kindest and most compassionate doctor I have ever met. She is a God send and I will forever be grateful to her, I see her like family. I was ignored by my doctors who said it was the menopause and even though I had a distorted uterus and abdomen my GP surgery did nothing. I was in so much pain and constantly bleeding. Thank God I found Dr Mavrides online after reading all the Doctify reviews. Dr Mavrides immediately helped me and swung into action. I could see that all she wanted to do was end my suffering and help me be well again. Her caring nature is evident and she instantly empathised with me. I felt in very safe hands as appointments and tests were booked promptly. I had a 24 week size uterus that weighed 2080g. I had numerous huge fibroids that weighed kilos. I needed a full hysterectomy which happened within approx 6 weeks after my first meeting with Dr Mavrides. I also want to say a hugh thank you to her PA Hugh. He was so helpful and constantly kept in touch with me guiding me through the preparation for operation and hospital stay. Dr Mavrides is an exceptional surgeon and the scar was minimal. She is well connected and respected by all who know of her and work with her. The recovery was smooth and safe due to Dr Mavrides exceptional care and her skill as a surgeon. She was there when I woke up after the anaesthetic and deeply cares about all her patients. She came to see me every day in hospital and even took my phone call when I was recovering at home. I strongly believe Dr Mavrides should be given an award...
Read moreI couldn’t thank and recommend Dr Eleni Mavrides enough. She delivered our first baby and I wish I could re-live the labour and delivery experience. The care she takes in her patients is unmatched. She listened and addressed my concerns as well as talking me through plans and procedures. I appreciated her support and advice, it made me feel like there was some sort of a ‘plan’. She came in on her day off and went our of her way to put our minds at ease about an induction. Her energy and attitude was nothing but caring and uplifting. She’s not only an incredible consultant but one of the most hard working people we have come across who never fails to show up for her patients. Despite some complications during delivery, she kept the environment calm for us, guided me through each step while delivering our baby safely. We will never forget how calm and perfect our labour and delivery felt and that’s largely down to Dr Mavrides. She continued to take care of me postpartum to make sure I was recovering okay, remaining contactable at all times. I couldn’t recommend her enough and if we ever have another baby I wouldn’t want anyone else delivering them.
