From my first meeting with Eleni, it was clear I was in excellent hands. I was very anxious throughout my pregnancy due to previous loss, and Eleni was a source of constant support and guidance - especially out of hours! She was always only ever a phone call away and this made such a difference. I was nervous about birth, and had a lot of preferences which I discussed with Eleni. She supported me in having the most positive birth experience, and it truly was magical. It was everything I wanted and more. I am so grateful to have had her guide me through. I can't recommend Eleni highly enough, particularly for first-time mothers who want a doctor who is thorough, reassuring, and truly present throughout the whole journey. Thank you!!!

We met Eleni towards the end of my second pregnancy when I became high risk. She was extremely professional throughout and to the point, putting me and my baby first. I felt in safe hands and she clearly explained everything to me whilst reassuring me, given I had not had the best experience with my first pregnancy with the NHS. Eleni and the midwives worked really well as a team during my labour and I had a very positive experience. I can’t thank Eleni and the midwives enough.

I recently had an inpatient visit to the Princess Grace Hospital after an NHS hospital could not find the problem and was gratefully under the care of Dr Eleni Mavrides. I landed at the hospital at about 8pm, and Eleni came to my room after she had finished surgery at 11:45pm. Whilst my first interaction was rushed (understandable after a full day of surgery), I was reassured by her professionalism and not dismissing my reality about my pain. She thought outside of the box and involved other consultants to fix the problem. Despite it being a four day bank holiday, she looked after me throughout my stay there and ended up doing a robotic-assisted laparoscopy to remove a dermoid cyst, stage 1 endometriosis and a parafimbrial cyst. She managed to fit me in, even when there was a Junior Dr's strike going on. This was my second laparoscopy in two weeks, and her surgery was so much better. She improved the stitching so I have less of a scar. She was so lovely, fun, kind, professional, reassuring and knew her stuff. She is a very hardworking, inspiring and intelligent lady who I will use when I am pregnant.

Dr Mavrides is an exceptional doctor and also the kindest and most compassionate doctor I have ever met. She is a God send and I will forever be grateful to her, I see her like family. I was ignored by my doctors who said it was the menopause and even though I had a distorted uterus and abdomen my GP surgery did nothing. I was in so much pain and constantly bleeding. Thank God I found Dr Mavrides online after reading all the Doctify reviews. Dr Mavrides immediately helped me and swung into action. I could see that all she wanted to do was end my suffering and help me be well again. Her caring nature is evident and she instantly empathised with me. I felt in very safe hands as appointments and tests were booked promptly. I had a 24 week size uterus that weighed 2080g. I had numerous huge fibroids that weighed kilos. I needed a full hysterectomy which happened within approx 6 weeks after my first meeting with Dr Mavrides. I also want to say a hugh thank you to her PA Hugh. He was so helpful and constantly kept in touch with me guiding me through the preparation for operation and hospital stay. Dr Mavrides is an exceptional surgeon and the scar was minimal. She is well connected and respected by all who know of her and work with her. The recovery was smooth and safe due to Dr Mavrides exceptional care and her skill as a surgeon. She was there when I woke up after the anaesthetic and deeply cares about all her patients. She came to see me every day in hospital and even took my phone call when I was recovering at home. I strongly believe Dr Mavrides should be given an award...

I couldn’t thank and recommend Dr Eleni Mavrides enough. She delivered our first baby and I wish I could re-live the labour and delivery experience. The care she takes in her patients is unmatched. She listened and addressed my concerns as well as talking me through plans and procedures. I appreciated her support and advice, it made me feel like there was some sort of a ‘plan’. She came in on her day off and went our of her way to put our minds at ease about an induction. Her energy and attitude was nothing but caring and uplifting. She’s not only an incredible consultant but one of the most hard working people we have come across who never fails to show up for her patients. Despite some complications during delivery, she kept the environment calm for us, guided me through each step while delivering our baby safely. We will never forget how calm and perfect our labour and delivery felt and that’s largely down to Dr Mavrides. She continued to take care of me postpartum to make sure I was recovering okay, remaining contactable at all times. I couldn’t recommend her enough and if we ever have another baby I wouldn’t want anyone else delivering them.

I strongly recommend Eleni to anyone seeking care. She delivered my baby a few years ago, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. More recently, she supported me through a miscarriage, and her care meant so much during such a difficult time. She was incredibly compassionate, clear in her communication, and always made sure I felt informed and supported. Her kindness and professionalism truly sets her apart. She is the only doctor I trust in the UK, and I am deeply grateful to have her as my OB-GYN.

I cannot thank Eleni enough for everything she has done for me following my diagnosis of multiple fibroids. She clearly explained all my options and even quickly consulted a fertility specialist colleague which helped me to decide on proceeding with surgery. She went with my wish of a robotic myomectomy which ended up being quite a lengthy surgery due to the size, location and number of fibroids. However, I am grateful for minimal scarring and a quick recovery in choosing this option. She is a busy lady, yes. However her knowledge, skills and years of expertise in this field are clearly evident and I would choose her again. She genuinely cares about her patients. Thank you Eleni.

I cannot thank Dr Mavrides enough for the care and expertise she showed during an incredibly difficult time. From the moment I began experiencing complications, she was responsive, reassuring, and immediately available. I was deeply grateful that she arranged for my procedure so quickly, which made an overwhelming situation feel contained and supported. Her skill, calmness, and compassion transformed what could have been a deeply traumatic experience into one that felt safe and well-managed. I felt completely in capable hands throughout.

Total lack of interest and manners, poor engagement in the conversation, 1 hour late. I felt she was not listening or just did not care. All over the place regarding which tests I have done before. Definitely not what I expect when I go to see a private doctor. Will not visit her again.

Thank you for taking the time for feedback and I apologise that you did not have the expected service that I usually provide . It is unfortunate that emergency circumstances like Obstetric deliveries can impact the clinic times and appointments. I would be happy to offer a courtesy follow up consultation and detailed follow up to go over the concerns free of charge . Kindly email my office to have this arranged as we don’t get any patient details on this platform . Apologies again .
