Eleni has been an incredibly important part of our journey to welcoming our beautiful baby boy in early October, and we honestly couldn’t be more grateful to have had her by our side. We first crossed paths when Eleni called us late on a Friday evening (in her own time) after we had found out we’d had a miscarriage. At such a heartbreaking and difficult time, her warmth, kindness and reassurance were an absolute blessing. She guided us through our D&C procedure and supported us on the journey to conceiving again. Given our previous pregnancy loss, our second pregnancy naturally came with a lot of anxiety. Eleni was exceptional throughout, providing so much care, compassion and reassurance at every stage. She always took the time to listen to our concerns, answer every question and offer scans as regularly as we needed to feel comfortable and reassured. We never felt rushed or that any concern was too small, and that meant the world to us. When it came to deciding on our birth plan, Eleni gave us a thoughtful, balanced and completely non-biased assessment of our situation, which helped us feel confident in choosing a planned C-section. The entire experience was wonderful, and one of the moments we will treasure forever is seeing Eleni’s beaming smile as she showed us our baby boy for the very first time. Recently had ovaries removed by keyhole surgery at The Royal Free Hospital. It was a very straightforward procedure and I felt I was in good hands with the surgeon, anesthetist and all the hospital staff

I honestly cannot recommend Eleni Mavrides highly enough. She is an absolutely incredible doctor, but more importantly, an amazing person. I first met Eleni Mavrides a year ago during an incredibly difficult time, when I experienced a miscarriage and she performed my D&C procedure. Little did I know that a year later, she would be the person guiding me through one of the most important and life-changing journeys of my life. When I became pregnant again, I was an extremely anxious patient and experienced a lot of symptoms throughout my pregnancy. From the very beginning, she was there for me every step of the way. She was always so patient, reassuring, approachable and kind, and she made me feel completely safe and cared for throughout what was, at times, a very difficult pregnancy. Over the course of the year, we built such a wonderful relationship, and I genuinely feel so lucky to have had her by my side. She went above and beyond to support me, answer my questions and reassure me whenever I needed it. I never once felt like I was a burden or that my concerns were too much. Three weeks ago, Eleni Mavrides delivered our beautiful baby girl, Skyla, and we could not have wished for a more incredible experience. She guided us through the birth with so much care, confidence and compassion, and helped make what could have been an overwhelming experience feel safe and truly amazing. Ms Eleni cared for me from the very beginning of my pregnancy, and I’m so grateful to have had her by my side through the birth and my recovery. Following a positive glucose tolerance test, she recommended an induction. I was anxious because I had heard stories of inductions ending in emergency caesareans, but Ms Eleni managed mine with such patience and care. She gave me the time I needed, kept a close eye on how things were progressing, and helped me have the vaginal birth I had hoped for. I felt safe and supported throughout. I needed an episiotomy, and her care continued well beyond the birth. She checked my stitches regularly and helped me recover quickly. She and her office were always approachable whenever I had a question or concern. I couldn’t recommend Ms Eleni more highly. If we decide to have a second child, I would choose her again without hesitation.

Miss Mavrides is kind and empathetic and has a wonderful bedside manner. I had robotic surgery and was discharged after one night feeling great. I had very little discomfort and was back to my normal routine and work very quickly. I would highly recommend Miss Mavrides

I’m really happy with the care I received from Dr Eleni Mavridis. I had surgery to remove a dermoid cyst and a fibroid, and during the surgery she also found quite extensive endometriosis, which she was able to remove. Everything went really well and I felt very well looked after throughout the whole process. She explained things clearly, answered all my questions and made me feel much more relaxed about the surgery. I’m recovering really well now and feel so relieved knowing that the cyst, fibroid and endometriosis have all been dealt with. I’m very grateful to Dr Mavridis and would definitely recommend her.

Ms Mavrides is a fantastic surgeon. She was recommended to me as a specialist fibroid surgeon and the work she has done has been life changing. Really approachable and down to earth. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Amazing everything was comfortable

I was referred to Dr Mavrides after my original surgeon became unavailable, and I’m truly grateful she became my doctor. I was initially nervous about the idea of surgery, but after my first appointment with her, I felt safe and trusted her completely. The robotic myomectomy was expected to be 4 hours, but it was 8 hours due to the difficulty removing my biggest fibroid. I was advised that if this was the case, they may switch to an open surgery. However, Dr Mavrides kept the surgery as it was, as she knew I was concerned about the post-surgery recovery. My scarring was minimal, and I recovered quickly. I can’t thank her and the rest of the staff for such a positive experience. She is an incredible doctor, and I highly recommend her.

From my first meeting with Eleni, it was clear I was in excellent hands. I was very anxious throughout my pregnancy due to previous loss, and Eleni was a source of constant support and guidance - especially out of hours! She was always only ever a phone call away and this made such a difference. I was nervous about birth, and had a lot of preferences which I discussed with Eleni. She supported me in having the most positive birth experience, and it truly was magical. It was everything I wanted and more. I am so grateful to have had her guide me through.
