Dr Eleni took care of me throughout my pregnancy and delivered my baby. I was really happy with her work.

Total lack of interest and manners, poor engagement in the conversation, 1 hour late. I felt she was not listening or just did not care. All over the place regarding which tests I have done before. Definitely not what I expect when I go to see a private doctor. Will not visit her again.

Dr Eleni has an aura and level of professionalism that is unmatched. From the first interaction her kindness and the way she made us feel so comfortable with the procedure was magical. Not only is she a top class Doctor whose surgical skills have left me with a barely visible scar, she also helped us to achieve our desire to have a specific date for the birth of our son despite the hospital needing to move the date through technical difficulties. Dr Eleni made sure that our entire experience was excellent, from arranging a tour of the hospital and making sure our birth plan requirements were always met. We will absolutely be seeing her again when we have more children.

I had a very good experience with Eleni! She helped me to deliver my baby safely and respected all my wishes for the birth. Because of her I had a spontaneous and successful VBAC.

Having had my son born at Portland hospital, the experience had been amazing, I was well look after by Eleni Mavrides our consultant! Our son was a miracle baby after a failed IVF and being an older mother, Eleni has been the most amazing, Kind and the most efficient consultant l have ever met! Her warmth and kindness has been exceptional. My surgery went very smoothly and she performed the surgery with excellent care and fantastic professionalism! You would be very lucky to have her!! Dr Eleni delivered my baby by C-section in July 2025 at the Portland Hospital. I am so grateful and fortunate to have had Dr Eleni as my doctor during my pregnancy and for the delivery of my baby. I felt completely safe and confident in her care during the whole process. She is confident, knowledgable, kind and highly skilled. She put me at ease as soon as I met her. The surgery itself went very well. I even felt well enough to leave the hospital the day after, and I think this is due to Dr Eleni's skill. The scar itself is small and tidy and I have received many comments from midwives and nurses on how tidy the scar is. If I was to have another baby, I absolutely would want Dr Eleni to be my doctor again.

I had a laparoscopic myomectomy performed by Ms Eleni Mavrides, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her care. She was kind, supportive, and attentive throughout the whole process. I had undergone the same type of surgery before with another doctor, but my recovery this time was remarkably faster. Thanks to Ms Mavrides’ skill and precision — especially placing the laparoscopic incisions very low, below the navel — I was able to move freely and comfortably soon after the operation. She combines true professionalism with empathy and warmth, and made me feel safe and confident from start to finish. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional and compassionate consultant.

I had my baby at the Portland hospital assisted by Dr Mavrides, and had a wonderful experience. She is not extremely knowledgeable and competent, but also warm and compassionate - I can’t recommend her enough! I switched to her late in my pregnancy as I felt that my previous provider was not sufficiently listening to me, and from the beginning I felt that Dr Mavrides was 100% considerate of my needs, wishes, and concerns. I absolutely felt that my choices were respected every step of the way, as she went out of her way to ensure that I could have the birth experience that I wanted. The postpartum care was also great, as after the birth she came to check on me every day.

Dr Eleni Mavrides supported me through my entire pregnancy and delivery of my first baby via planned c-section. She truly cares about her patients, has a very warm nature and always had time to answer all my questions. We are extremely grateful for her expertise, kindness and support. Dr Mavrides went out of her way to ensure my pregnancy was as smooth as possible and alleviate all my concerns. She was superb during the delivery of my baby and made the entire experience so special for our family and better than we could have ever hoped for. Her postpartum care is also fantastic and she came to check in on my recovery every day. She is exceptional and I highly recommend Dr Mavrides.
