This was my first major operation. I was very nervous and quite anxious before going to the hospital. After booking in, I was taken to my room where the staff carried out all their pre ops checks. Whilst doing this my nerves began to calm as the staff were so warming and kind in their approach. My operation was early in the morning and I was back in my room in time for lunch. My post operative care was also of a high standard, the staff were excellent. The operation went very well and I would highly recommend the operation and also Yorkshire Clinic.

I would recommend nuffield health derby & Mr. Cockshott as a knee/hip surgeon ( i know he does those, guess other operations as well) All the staff I encountered where friendly & helpful. From surgeon & colleagues to pre op to all ward staff to rehab. I was sick and fainted the first night and all the ward staff where very attentive, kind & understanding.

They gave me complete confidence, and the nurses were very good at chatting with me to distract me from the painful parts of the varicose vein precedure. You are looked after with care and kept informed of progress throughout your visit. Rooms are perfectly suitable for all needs. Parking can be busy at times.
