Professor Frampton 'de-roofed' a large cyst growing towards the back of my liver very skilfully, using a Robot to navigate past important internal structures, excess fat, & through adhesions from past operations I've had. This resulted in minimal operative consequence to my abdomen, & to me post-operatively - meaning I awoke from the general anaesthetic without the significant pain I recall from several past 'open surgery' type operations (I was then even able to eat sandwiches, enjoy a cup of cocoa, & walk to the bathroom, before 'sleeping it off'!) I was only in hospital for 48hrs & left with just a little discomfort (from bumps in the road on the journey home), and five small glue-covered external incisions from the Robot's arms across the front of my waistline, which healed quickly. My only instructions were No Lifting for first 6wks, and to take Paracetamol & occasionally DHCodeine for some understandable right-sided abdominal tenderness. That steadily tailed off along with v.mild discomfort when hicupping/sneezing, as I healed internally whilst taking things easily (& light exercise) at home over next 12-14 days. This operation transpired to be an amazingly positive experience for which I cannot thank & recommend Professor Frampton highly enough - not only for his surgical & Robotic expertise, but also his conscientious & professional assessment of my health pre & post surgery, his reassuring explanations & his most pleasant communication personally throughout (administratively aided by his excellent PA)!

For 6 years I have been suffering with severe abdominal pain, I have been in and out of hospital over this period of time, having seen many doctors & consultants, had multiple scans and tests etc, was put on too many medications to name, nobody picked up what the problem really was, that was until I met Dr Raza, and thank God I did! From the first scan he performed, he diagnosed Endometriosis, this had never been mentioned to me, his diagnosis was stage 3 deep infiltrating endometriosis, Dr Raza has performed robotic surgery to clear the disease, having said one of the worst cases he has ever dealt with. Approaching 4 weeks post op, I have just been to see Dr Raza, and he is over the moon at how incredible my wound has healed, one incision only via the belly button, he was really proud of his work, and absolutely so he should be, to me, he is my hero, he is truly one of the most gentle men I have ever met, along with his nurse Denia, who has been my rock throughout my recovery period. I cannot advocate Dr Raza enough, 6 years of my life totally wasted backwards and forwards in and out of hospital to no avail, until now, thank you Dr Raza and Denia, for making my future look so very much brighter, you are my saviour, and I’m proud to call myself your patient. Thank you for everything and I would not hesitate to come back to you if I need too❤️

Name: Patricia H. H. Patient ID: xxxxxxx Consultant: Mr Graham Bailie On Monday 8 December 2025 I visitied No. 6 Lisburn Road to have my wound reviewed. I recently had a full hip replacement with a wound on my hip with approximately 10 staples. The wound was reveiwed and reported that it was mending very satisfactorily. The original dressing on the wound was 30cm x 10cm. When the nurse was finishing examining the wound, she replaced the dressing with a smaller one - 15.5cm x 8.5 cm. She Spent some time stretching the smaller dressing to get it to cover all the staples in the wound. That evening, I experienced great pain with my wound. When I touched it through my clothing, the skin was extremely tender. Eventually, I removed the dressing to find extensive bruising at either side of the wound. It appears, that by stretching the smaller dressing to cover the staples, the wound itself had become extremely aggravated and angry. I replaced the dressing with a larger dressing. Within a few hours, the pain had subsided. However, 4 days later, the bruising is still present. I cannot understand why the nurse chose to use a smaller dressing which obviously caused great discomfort/aggravation to the wound. Having made a great recovery since the operation, this was a major setback to such a successful recovery.

The facility is clean, well organised, and welcoming, but what truly stood out was the care of all staff, friendly, supportive and specifically the exceptional care provided by Kate. Kate was warm attentive, and incredibly professional throughout my visits. She took time to care for me and explain all things clearly, was patient and I felt hugely comfortable and supported. Her kindness and calm approach made a huge difference, and I genuinely felt in safe hands. My overall experience was fine. The problem I have is I was not measured for the compression stockings resulting in a sore behind my right knee. I also had three grooves around my left leg which fortunately have not caused me any problems. It would be helpful to future patients if more care was taken when measuring for these.stockings maybe having measurements double checked. I am having very good treatment on my sore from Lynsey who has worked wonders to help my leg heal. I would like to thank Mr Patko who did a marvellous job on my replacement hip which has given me no problems whatsoever.

Dr Kapur was incredibly informative and really gave my daughter a full understanding of the products being prescribed, why they were being prescribed, how they worked, what to avoid and how she should manage her skin regime going forward. Nurses were all keen to offer care, and talk, which I appreciated, it's easy to get in your own head, and I appreciated the distraction! One thing I would comment on is that there is always a long wait. I was asked to arrive at 8:30am, but I didn't actually have my procedure until 10:30, which gave lots of time to think. A more streamlined appointment process would be helpful
