I have just returned home after a full hip replacement. We were recommended to St Joseph’s and I can’t speak highly enough of the team and the care I received. Many things stand out. The friendly, yet professional ambience, the obviously good relations and communications across all staff. Although my visit lasted only just over 24 hours, at no time did anything feel rushed or ‘conveyor belt’. Just well organised with a feeling that I was being very well looked after. The room and facilities were first class, comfortable and super clean. The operation itself was clearly explained and went without hitch. There was a lot of experience in that room, not least of the lead consultant and anaesthetist. Recovery was also much quicker than I expected, with excellent follow on from the Physio team and 6 sessions into the future as part of the package. I would finally like to express my thanks to all the staff who have made such a positive difference for me.

Excellent 5* service all round - I booked my telephone appointment online and everything was on time and thorough. Special thanks to Joanna for helping me out with invoicing and making sure I was happy with my appointment type. Exceptional customer service. Also thank you to Dr N Bennett who provided me with amazing advice and a speedy prescription - she guided me and we made a decision together on next steps. It has been a privilege to have been under Dr Shor’s care since early September. She is an excellent active listener who exhibits a high degree of emotional intelligence & empathy. Her advice is as considered as it is cogent; she explains the issues at hand clearly, appropriately tailoring her delivery to match the patient’s understanding, including checks to ascertain that they have accurately processed what she is communicating. She is extremely generous with her time and great at leaving the patient feeling that it really is all about them.

It was an emergency appointment to deal with an infected tooth. All the staff were friendly and sympathetic and the dentist dealt with my problem, promptly and efficiently. The state of my tooth was examined and X-rayed and I was given the best options for treating it. I agreed my tooth should be extracted and I was given clear instructions on the post procedure care. The next day the receptionist rang me to ask if I was OK and to remind me I could contact the practice if I had any queries or after effects.

This is GP services as they should be. I booked on Sunday afternoon and had a good selection of appointments for Monday morning. I was seen on my appointment time. The fact that the appointments are 20 minutes long allows the GP time to be very thorough and explain in detail your condition. Over four visits this year, I have always seen the same GP, which builds the connection that the excessively busy NHS service no longer provides.

NLM Clinic in Doncaster provides you privacy of consultation. It is located quite central, however not on the main road, which means that the privacy is maintained at all times. The environment is calm and comfortable. You are offered a drink on arrival and the consultation room, despite being small is welcoming and comfortable. Highly recommended.
