I had ALT phallo with Mr Nim Christopher and was admitted for 5 days post-op, and I cannot thank the nursing staff enough for the care I received. Every nurse I encountered was professional, compassionate, and genuinely attentive. They consistently checked on me, explained things clearly, responded quickly whenever I needed help, and treated me with kindness and respect at all times. Their reassurance and calm presence made a difficult hospital stay much more comfortable and less stressful. It’s clear they take great pride in their work and truly care about their patients. The morning Nurses Kate and Erisa were extremely wonderful even though at one point there were so many patients and only 2 of them to take care of all of us, they were encouraging and they set a positive tone for each day. The night shift nurses Mo and Aliesha were reassuring and kind and always present when things felt hardest. Of course ai cannot leave out Alina who was always caring and compassionate throughout my stay. Last but certainly not least I would like the thank Mr Nim for his excellent care and support and Dr Patil for the amazing anesthesia he delivered. They were all like family to me. I’m deeply grateful for everything they did for me. Your professionalism, kindness and dedication did not go unnoticed.

1. We were wrong footed by the entrance barrier, but luckily another patient was close to the entrance button. 2. Parking was tight - we had to park in the radiology section, but hoped that would be ok. 3. The surgery was wonderfully light and airy and spatially arranged in such a way that each patient could have space and privacy. 4. The staff i have spoken to on the phone were immensely welcoming and efficient, as were the ladies on the desk on arrival 5. The loos were wonderfully clean and airy. 6. Dr. Johnstone was most welcoming and sympathetic. I can't make the next step work, which is to review Dr. J. On only one visit, my experience was very positive. She was clearly listening to what i was saying, and made a very quick referral, for which I am very grateful.

From my initial enquiry about Refractive Lens Replacement surgery, through my surgery and aftercare I have had excellent care from Vision Scotland. Everything was clearly explained and the surgery has left me with the desired result, 20/20 vision with no glasses needed. The only (slight) negative difference here is a greater need for good light when reading at night or close work. The procedure was pain free and I have had no complications. I am looking forward to enjoying the results for (I hope) many years to come. Thank you to all staff involved with my care.

Mr Wissam Abou-Chedid

I was referred for treatment of prostate cancer and he provided detailed information of the techniques available for surgery and the outcomes he had achieved so I could make an informed decision. He saw me pre and post-operatively to assess and reassure me and the procedure went very smoothly. He even found time to ring my wife after the procedure to reassure her that it had gone well. On removal of my supra-pubic catheter I had no urinary incontinence which was an an amazing outcome and completely attributable to his novel technique and skill as a surgeon.

Unfortunately, having burnt my fingers and subsequently acquired an infection, I rang the Centre at 10.00. am and asked for an urgent appointment to see a general practitioner. The receptionist offered me two appointments, one at 11.40 am and one at 1.00 pm. I took the earlier appointment and was seen within 10 minutes by Dr Porter. She was very efficient, warm and understanding. I was prescribed medication, which was supplied by the clinic's pharmacy and back in my office by midday. Excellent service, and I thoroughly recommend Centennial

Mr Giulio Garaffa

Mr Garaffa is the consultant, who performed a urethral dilatation on me. At my last appointment, he suggested using a steroid application, which might alleviate the pain for my regular self dilatation. It has worked wonders, making it far easier and almost pain free; would that I had met him years ago. This has made my future more hopeful. Mr Garaffa is a delightful man, unassuming and clearly talented. You just know he really cares for you. NO EGO HERE! The Whittington Hospital is blessed to have him in their employ. John W.

Dr. Heck is an amazing combination of compassionate human and incredibly professional doctor - which doesn't happen often. With immense good humour and obvious personal concern, he understood my situation and then devised a pathway forward, which was both practical and clear. I feel hugely fortunate to have access to care like this, and can only say that I feel I have been looked after with care and appropriate professional concern. Long live the NHS for being able to support these high standards!

I have had the utmost pleasure and experience of meeting Evangelos Tsialogiannis and have him perform a full hip replacement for me. From first meeting Evangelos, l was so impressed with him and was immediately put at ease, knowing that he was going to carrying out the operation. He explained the procedure clearly and talked me through the whole plan, from operation through to post operation recovery. An absolute top professional!

After I found a lump in my breast I was referred to Miss Luther and seen very quickly. All tests were explained clearly and results given calmly and every reassurance given. My questions and those of my family were all answered with care and clarity. Miss Luther has carried out two day surgeries now and I have felt in the best hands every step of the way. I was sadly given some very upsetting news that Mr Thomas would not be able to help my condition and that I would have paralysis for life. Dr James Gratwicke

My session with Dr Gratwicke was excellent in all ways. I thought him perfectly listening and helpful insightful comments. Inhave rates a 4 star experience because I arrived on time and waited 1 hour in the very comfortable waiting room. I felt a 15 min wait is reasonable A up to 30 min… but nearly an hour too much. Dr G though was worth the wait- he was excellent.

Private care at the Western Eye Hospital

. It’s not clear where the private department is (or any other) as no reception desk at hospital entrance (only a security man on other duties). When in 2nd floor private area do not expect trappings of luxury or flashy equipment. You do get kindness, attentiveness and skill and efficiency. Came out with problem fixed. No cafe.

She's definitely helped me manage the transition into perimenopause - my symptoms are well-managed and she has provided options and ideas for next steps if that situation changes. Both Mr Chritchley and the radiographer were very professional and thorough. I found them to be approachable and friendly. I like that all I needed to know happens in one session. I think sometimes you see people in this setting and are made to feel odd and uncomfortable. My experience with this has been excellent.

This was my first visit to the Nuffield. I was greeted warmly as I arrived to park my car and helped to locate a space. The reception staff were efficient and pointed me in the right direction for my appointment. The nursing staff were professional but warm and I felt comfortable as I waited.
