Dr James Thing is a miracle worker—I am now walking almost completely normally for the first time in almost a year. I had a Baker's Cyst which he drained and injected. I had limped into his office, barely able to walk and I (almost) skipped out. He did a scan on my foot but wouldn't do an injection until I had an MRI. This is good medicine as he wanted to be sure he was injecting in exactly the right place, and indeed, he wanted to make sure an injection was the right thing to do (which it was). The foot is so much better. I am back to walking my normal 4 ½ -5 mile routes without much difficulty. Dr James Thing is a brilliant doctor! What I like is that you go in, he does an ultrasound to make a diagnosis, and if appropriate, he carries out the procedure there and then. No waiting for additional appointments at additional costs. Treatment and relief are immediate. That is amazing to find in this day and age.

Dr Barke looked after my son following a shoulder injury, and his care was outstanding from start to finish. He acted swiftly to organise appropriate imaging, arranged expert surgical input, and ensured seamless physiotherapy follow-up. What was most valuable was that Dr Barke took overall responsibility for coordinating the entire process and leading my son’s return to sport. As a very keen sportsman, my son was understandably devastated at the prospect of missing out, but Dr Barke was incredibly reassuring, supportive, and clear throughout putting clear plans in place. He not only managed the injury expertly but also recognised the emotional impact of being sidelined, which made a huge difference. The Clinic was a little difficult to find but once there the staff were excellent and very efficient. My appointment was on time and the waiting area was warm and comfortable. The consultant was very helpful and explained everything and answered all my questions. I wasn’t rushed or meant to feel unimportant. The nurse was helpful and reassuring. There had been an administrative problem that I had mentioned to the lady on arrival and that was completely sorted out by the time I left which was extremely efficient. My recent visit to the Fortius Clinic for removal of stitches and a post operative assessment was short, on time and to the point. Dr Stephan was patient to listen to my concerns, made sure he understands the full picture, walked me through the reasons for the proposed tests, and helped get the relevant tests to rule out CVD. Afterwards we discussed what would be an appropriate recurring monitoring plan, and what to expect if I change my diet. Also answered a bunch of questions/concerns regarding protein and creatine intake, and kidneys health. You'll both get great treatment and more understanding of your condition.

The hospital was very clean, very friendly and very welcoming. I was shown to my room, given a menu for dinner that night as I was staying over. The staff were all very polite and attentive, even going above and beyond to get me a chocolate milkshake when the kitchen had shut.
