Rosie is exceptionally thorough, calm, and attentive. She takes time to listen, doesn’t rush, and is thoughtful and measured in her recommendations. At the same time, her knowledge is broad and deeply grounded, which gave me a strong sense of trust from the very first session. I remember leaving that first appointment feeling, for the first time, that my health issues were genuinely workable and that I was in capable, supportive hands. On arrival, and in good time, there was a huge que at the reception desk with only one member of staff trying to deal with patients. We waiting a very long time even to be acknowledged so, not wanting to be late for our appointment, we made our own way to the area A. We were then approached another member of staff in Area A who was able to give us the forms we should have received at reception. Knowing that a significant number of patients were due in the recetion should have been fully staffed with an expeditious way in processing through.

My recent visit to the Fortius Clinic for removal of stitches and a post operative assessment was short, on time and to the point. On arrival, as always for previous appointments, the reception staff were briefed and I was immediately sent to the correct location, waiting time in a comfortable environment was minimal before being called in to see my surgeon, Mr Houlihan-Burne. who took the time to answer a few questions. and assure me that should there be any future queries or worries, he & his staff were always available. Excellent care and advice from the hospital. I am really pleased with the outcome of my cataract surgery and the vision I now have. I hadn’t fully appreciated how poor my vision had become and after being short sighted all my life, near sighted requiring varifocal lenses in recent years I now do not need glasses at all as well as all my cataract symptoms disappearing.
