From my very first interaction with Dr. Ghosh, I felt an immense sense of relief. He eased my anxiety about the entire situation, taking the time to patiently review all my scans and explain the potential next steps in a way I could clearly understand. He also gave me the space to ask every question I had, never making me feel rushed. Dr. Ghosh operated on me twice—first for the lumpectomy and then for the perforator flap reconstruction. In both cases, he made sure I fully understood the procedures, and he visited me the morning of each surgery to ensure I felt comfortable and prepared. Afterward, he arranged regular follow-up appointments to monitor my healing and address any concerns. Overall, I feel incredibly fortunate to have had Dr. Ghosh as my surgeon and as one of the first doctors supporting me through this cancer journey.

Dr. Izquierdo was welcoming and professional, setting me at ease from the very outset of the appointment. I had a concern that it had been a while since the incident that had caused me to need to visit a doctor, and as such, I thought explanation and initial diagnosis would be more difficult. Dr. Izquierdo, however, was accomplished at not making me feel like that and the technique he used to explore my view of my full health and lifestyle enabled us both to understand not only the injury but how I had reached this point in the context of a multifaceted life. Even before we reached the point of diagnosis for the actual injury I felt the visit had been beneficial. Dr. Izquierdo's proposal for further investigations was exactly what I had hoped for and set me on the path to focused and appropriate further treatment.

I went to see Mr Platt as I needed a full knee replacement. He was extremely professional and at the same time allowed me to raise concerns which may have been slightly outside of the reason I went to see him in the first place. If my concerns were justified he would address them and if not he would explain why they were not. I felt very at ease with him handling my medical issues and would highly recommend him. I really value the support that I received from Maja - the use of an app to track my progress and receive regular feedback and prompts in between appointments was novel to me but proved to be a very valuable resource. Best to make sure someone attends with you to ask the questions you might be to groggy to ask at the time. Would be nice if staff shared communication as I have frozen shoulder and I only had chance to tell the lovely Laura staff nurse who reasured me. Dr Ahmed introduced himself and Ruby too...I had to ask what they found and was given printed details at the end. Overall positive. Thank you!
