I was diagnosed with gallstones and suffered with many infections. I had many admissions in hospital and had attempted surgery. They could not remove my gallbladder due to being stuck to my bowel. When in hospital I was told the only surgeon who could possibly do my surgery was Mr Karamanakos. I visited him in his private clinic and I was pleasantly surprised by his kind nature and professionalism. He took his time to review my scans and plan my procedure. He explained in details what he will do and what I should expect. On the day of the surgery he explained again the surgery and answered all of my questions. The operation was successful and done with small cuts. My recovery was smooth and fast. Mr Karamanakos was regularly checking me and on our final appointment he reassured me of the excellent result. I am so grateful to him and his secretary. I was very nervous but made my journey pleasant. Thank you so much.

After my atrial fibrillation (AFib) diagnosis, I booked an appointment with Dr Davies at the Park Hospital. He explained the treatment options: medication, a cardioversion (an electrical reset of the heart), or an ablation. His manner and experience are second to none. He helped me understand the options and I decided upon the RF ablation using the new state of the art facility at the Park. Dr Davies and his brilliant team carried out the procedure and the ITU aftercare team were equally impressive. I’m very pleased to say it went well and heart is now back in normal sinus rhythm, and I’m expected to make a full recovery. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Dr Davies and everyone at the Park Hospital.

He soon realised that I was the sort of patient who wanted to know exactly what he would do to correct my deviated septum and he spent time in explaining the procedure and the recovery. I have been attending Cathedral Eye Clinic since May, when Mr Niraj Mandal carried out cataract surgery on my left eye. A follow-up operation to stitch the iris was also successful. Although I still experience some blurring at distance, tests show 6/6 vision, and this is due to be corrected with laser treatment in the New Year. I am very pleased with the way the consultations and overall service have been carried out. The care has been professional and reassuring throughout, and I am looking forward to improved distance vision in 2026

I had a very good experience, every one was professional, clear and friendly. The op went well and I was sent home the same day with some pain killers, which I only needed for 2 days. For the past 8 years, I had been suffering with indigestion, bloating and gas. But within 6 weeks of the operation I am completely free of discomfort.
