Dear Team, I would like to provide feedback, as my experience at Harley Street Specialist Hospital has genuinely changed my life. I want to say how incredibly grateful and eternally indebted I am to my surgeon, Mr Luke Cascarini. He has given me a completely new lease of life. He is not only an outstanding surgeon but an exceptional human being, and I cannot thank him enough for the care, precision, and compassion he showed throughout my entire journey. I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to Janet, Dr Bosh, and all the nursing staff, as well as every member of the team right down to the wonderful ladies on reception, including Marianne. There are too many to name individually, but every single person played a role in making this experience extraordinary. The hospital itself does not feel like a hospital at all — it feels more like a health retreat where you leave as a better version of yourself. The environment, the warmth, and the standard of care are truly exceptional. For anyone suffering from sleep apnea, as I was, or dealing with any of the conditions treated by your specialists, I could not recommend HSSH and Mr Luke Cascarini more highly. I recently visited John Flynn Opticians for my 2-yearly eye exam. Dr Janjua is always incredibly thorough in the eye exam, explaining each step and answering all my questions with patience. He takes the time to discuss my prescription in detail and also the variety of lens options available such as anti-fatigue, blue light reduction and anti-glare. I work in the computing industry and having the right eyewear makes the difference between a good day and one where you’re severely tired at the end of it. Dr Janjua’s expertise and attention to detail makes sure you’re confident it will be a good day. Dr Janjua is also supported by an amazing team. Everybody is welcoming and professional, making the entire process seamless and comfortable. I only needed new lenses this time which will be fixed to my existing frames, but when new frames have been required they’ve helped me choose the perfect frames that not only suit my style, but also feel comfortable. What really stands out is the personalised care and attention I received. Dr Janjua and the team genuinely care about your eye health and it shows. I highly recommend Dr Janjua and the team to anyone in need of eye care.

Mr Simon Jennings

After a fall abroad I had surgery to mend a broken hip. Months later, the knee that I had twisted in the fall, refused to bend despite periods of rest, physio and even a steroid injection. Following an MRI to see whether there was any structural cause of the extreme stiffness, Mr Jennings recommended a manipulation of the knee under anaesthetic to release some of the stiffness, and to inject it with local anaesthetic and steroid to control pain and enhance recovery. As forewarned, the MUA and injection was immediately followed by intensive physiotherapy. The very quick procedure was successful, and I have regained much of the mobility I had lost since the accident, massively improving my quality of life. Mr Jennings is easy to talk to and has a very confident and reassuring manner. He provided clear explanations of the problem and his plan to treat it. Mr Jennings clearly has the knowledge and experience to identify less common problems. Thank you so much.

I visited Chapter One with my 4 year old child, we both had an appointment with Ashley. The practice is immaculate, beautifully designed and feels more like a luxury spa than a dental practice. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we were made to feel welcome and relaxed. Ashley was charming, instantly putting us at ease, involving my daughter with everything she was doing and making it a fun experience. With regards to my appointment, Ashley was very informative, ensuring I had time to ask questions and I left assured I was in highly capable hands. All the equipment was state of the art and I now have ultimate confidence in my dental routine. Easily the most professional and positive dental visit I have had, I would thoroughly recommend Chapter One and will be signing up to one of their care plans for my family.

I saw Alex Townsend for a running injury on my foot/ankle via Bupa. He was very professional, provided great care, and was excellent at communicating his thought process as he inspected my injury. He was efficient and determined in getting me the necessary follow ups booked timely when I told him I had an upcoming race. He referred me to Dr. Burdon who was also very professional and provided great care. After our follow up, Alex provided me with useful training resources for foot taping and running. He performed walking and running gait analysis on me. It was insightful to hear his analysis, and it formed the basis for him to refer me for additional foot physio appointments to strengthen my foot and minimize chance of future injuries.

Truly Exceptional After experiencing pain from my new hospital contact lenses I was able to book an appointment with Drew far sooner than my Hospital would see me. Drew very quickly determined that ill-fitting lenses were causing Conjunctival Prolapse and advised how best to proceed. Essentially the lenses used by my Hospital were not appropriate for my eyes and, since the Hospital will not use alternative lenses, Drew was able to fit and supply better lenses. These new contact lenses give excellent vision and comfort, even though I have a particular eye condition which makes it very difficult to fit contacts, despite lenses being the only solution for me. Thank you Drew and Team!

Professor Alwyn D'Souza

ENT Surgeon

Professor D’Souza is a constant source of reassurance and demonstrates a deep experience in a gentle and thoughtful manner. His approach is very educated, but pragmatic. In the case of my surgery, he gave excellent feedback on what made my revision difficult, while also explaining very clearly intraoperative discoveries that created problems he had to work around. For the first time in 16 years since a severe injury to my nose, I now see the light at the end of the tunnel to this journey and I owe this to Professor D’Souza.

Mr Divyang Shukla

Mr Shukla greeted me warmly when he called me into his office at my appointment time. He examined my arthritic left knee and explained the extent of the damage. The options of treatment were given and I said I am happy to go ahead with a total replacement. The possible problems were discussed which I accepted. NHS and Private treatment and the time scale of carrying out treatment was given. Private was my choice. The whole meeting was carried out in a very positive caring manner and any questions I had were answered.

I recently had a breast lift carried out by Mr. Fenn, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. He was friendly, approachable, and put me at ease every step of the way. He took the time to answer every question and concern I had, which made me feel fully informed and reassured throughout the process. I consulted Mr Fishman several months ago for tinnitus in one ear. He was outstanding - Mr Fishman has a rare gift of being supremely knowledgeable as well as extremely good at explaining things. Approachable and friendly. Mr Fishman is very thorough in examination, and also intelligent and insightful. You feel like you are in the best hands. Would highly recommend.

He operated on my knee (1/2 knee replacement) in October'25 and I'm completely happy with the results of the procedure and I have not experienced any complications.
