I had MOHS surgery on my nose under Professor Ali to treat basal cell carcinoma. At the initial consultation Professor Ali immediately put me at ease with his friendly manner and took the time to carefully explain in great detail what the procedure would entail and was very happy to spend time answering all my questions and concerns. I left feeling much more relaxed and confident about everything. When I returned a few weeks later with my husband for my MOHS surgery we were both made to feel very welcome by all the staff. This was at Discover Laser in Burnley and we were very impressed with the lovely clinic there. It was very clean and attractive and we were regularly offered refreshments and drinks as well as a good choice for lunch. Nothing was too much trouble and it was so relaxing between procedures sitting in the very pleasant lounge area. Professor Ali carried out the surgery with his very caring support team and he took time to make sure I understood and was happy with the procedures. It really helped and I felt so relaxed throughout knowing that I was in expert hands. Following my successful MOHS surgery I am continuing to make a good recovery with regular follow up consultations with Professor Ali to check on my progress. I have a contact number so that I can communicate with Professor Ali directly should the need arise. I have not had to use this but it is very reassuring to know that I can get expert advice if I need it. I would definitely recommend Prof Ali. He is frirndly, approachable and explains everything in layman's language. I had a basel cell carcinoma, on my face, removed by him. It was quite deep but within a couple of months of the surgery it's hardly noticeable.

Probably the best health professional i have seen; hyper knowledgeable, kind and comforting and generally just a great experience.
