About Dr Thomas Tull

Dr. Thomas Tull is a highly regarded Consultant Dermatologist with a substantive position at the prestigious St John’s Institute of Dermatology, part of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. He has a strong focus on autoimmune skin conditions and immunology.

Dr. Tull completed his medical degree at Imperial College London, graduating in 2007 with distinction. During his time at Imperial College, he also earned eight academic prizes, including the esteemed Faculty of Medicine Prize.

In his general dermatology practice, Dr. Tull provides expert care for various skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, mole checks, and skin cancer. However, his sub-specialty interests lie in autoimmune skin conditions, specifically cutaneous lupus and immunobullous disorders. Within the NHS, he runs specialised clinics dedicated to these areas, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care and expertise.

His research is internationally recognised, and he has contributed numerous scientific papers to high-impact journals, including Nature Communications and The Journal of Experimental Medicine. Dr. Tull has also actively participated as an investigator in various clinical trials related to conditions such as hidradenitis suppurativa, eczema, and bullous pemphigoid.

Absolutely brilliant – the appointment was on Friday 10 July at 4:30 pm – however due to number of road and traffic issues, I was delayed by 45 mins and arrived at the Hospital at 5:15 pm. I spoke to Dr Tull‘s PA – and I was assured that I should not worry and that DR Tull will wait for me. I also spoke to the Reception at the Hospital who reassured me as not worry and informed me that they will inform his Nursing Staff of my delay and took the Booking over the phone. This is very rare and shows total care and professionalism of Dr Tull and his staff. I cannot express my gratitude of the service or experience I received and made me feel very relaxed. Throughout my interaction DR Tull was very caring and extremely professional and understood my condition and made me feel very reassured and comfortable. I was coming from Horley Surrey.

I’ve been seeing Dr Tull for my face and scalp issues, and I’ve always had an excellent experience. He’s also treated me for a number of other skin concerns over the years, and every time he’s been knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, listens to any concerns, and recommends treatments that have genuinely helped. I always feel confident that I’m in good hands, and the care I’ve received has consistently been first-class. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr Tull to anyone looking for an experienced and trustworthy dermatologist.
