Discover Laser Medical Skin Clinic located in Burnley Lancashire, is set against the stunning backdrop of Pendle Hill and the surrounding countryside.
Our modern, clean, and comfortable purpose-built facility has six treatment rooms including a surgical suite, and benefits from free on-site parking and a private entrance.
Established by Doctor Miguel Montero with his wife and business partner Gill Montero in 2007, the clinic was founded on the ethos of enhancing and improving the way people feel and look by offering safe and effective treatments.
As a doctor-led clinic, we are fully registered, regulated, and insured. Our team of experienced doctors provides high-quality care in accordance with strict regulations by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and guidance from the British Association of Dermatologists.
Our patients are always our top priority and we go above and beyond to ensure each patient feels cared for throughout their experience at our clinic. I chose Discover Laser and Dr Montero after a personal recommendation, despite it being a three hour round trip from my home. After my thorough consultation and subsequent treatment I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Montero myself and would not consider going anywhere else. My experience exceeded all expectations. It’s my first time going for private surgery, and I was nervous the first time I met Prof Ali, but he was so informative, lovely and completely put me at ease. The surgery was very soon after our first meeting, and having met Prof Ali I was more relaxed on the day. I was welcomed on arrival, treated wonderfully by everyone there, a perfect team, and the actual surgery was completely painless, and with a local anesthetiser was awake, but felt no pain whatsoever. The other wonderful thing was that by the time I left, I knew that the surgery was completely successful, the cancer completely removed. I don’t believe this to be the case when going via other options. I was told by others that radiotherapy would be needed after surgery. This was NOT the case with Prof Ali. I returned a week later to have the stitches removed, and again a very warm welcome from everyone. Today I have returned for my final check, and felt that I was among friends, another very warm welcome. The surgery has been a complete success, the scar is almost invisible, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the whole experience, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Prof Ali and his team to anyone. He has been described to me by someone who has also experienced his expertise that he is THE BEST of THE BEST. The surgery he has carried out for me has been admired by other health care sectors, my dentist, my physio to name two, and they’ve asked me for his contact details for their patients. I can only say a very big thank you to Prof Ali and all his team.

I had appointment with Dr Aslam for the removal of a basal cell cancer on my lower right eyelid. The procedure was done very successfully and the Doctor and staff treated me with kindness and care
