Dr Aslam recently performed Mohs surgery on my forehead. From start to finish the team were professional, caring, and reassuring. Dr Aslam is a genius, I went to him with a Basel cell Carsanoma on my forehead he performed mohs surgery which completely removed the cancer leaving a 39cm diameter wound. He expertly closed the wound, 3 months later there are virtually no signs of any surgery at all Many thanks to Dr Aslam and his team .

I was referred by my doctor on a 2ww to a Manchester hospital. It was confirmed by dermatology I had a BCC in the centre of my nose. After being shown a picture of an excision with a skin graft from the inside of my thigh, I was terrified. I looked into this and found MOHs as an alternative. I did get offered a cancellation by the NHS , but they told me that I didn’t qualify for MOHs. After looking for the best MOHs doctor to do the surgery, I found Dr Arif Aslam and I’m so glad I did. I was offered an appointment at the Burnley clinic. The clinic is spotlessly clean. You are offered drinks and snacks and even asked for your favourite band , so it can be played whilst the surgery is taking place. The nurse asked how I was feeling. I was so anxious , but she put me at ease saying I was in safe hands. I knew I had made the right choice. Six weeks after my surgery the results are amazing. Dr Aslam is fantastic and I can’t recommend him enough.

I have had many procedures that have been conducted by Dr Aslam. My most recent has been MOHS surgery in two areas on my face. Obviously I was concerned about the outcome on my face and scarring. The whole process and procedure was excellent. I was put immediately at ease by Dr Aslam and his staff. I was updated at all stages by Dr Aslam. He has an excellent, kind and reassuring manner. The most important point is he is genuinely interested in you and you can ask as many questions as you like. I am so pleased with the outcome of my surgery. It has been quite unbelievable in the way that my family and friends find it difficult to find my scarring on my face after six weeks. I have happily recommended him to some of my friends and their friends for any concerns they have.

Dr Aslam was amazing through the whole process. From my initial consultation, to surgery and after care. He was so friendly, personable and professional putting me at ease, describing the whole process thoroughly. He answered all my questions, took the time to listen and acknowledge my feelings. I had a Mohs surgery and although surgery can be worrying, Dr Aslam and his team made me feel very relaxed, reassured and cared for. I couldn't have picked a better consultant.

I attended Burnley Laser Clinic at the end of May having had a basal cell carcinoma on the nasal alar crease confirmed, following a punch biopsy. Dr Aslam talked through the Mohs surgery procedure and explained each step and the potential that more than one procedure may be required but each would be completed same day. With this in mind I was advised I may need to be there most of the day. I opted to attend in the morning to accommodate this possibility. On arriving at the clinic for 8am we were welcomed by the reception staff and immediately put at ease with refreshments. I was called to see Dr Aslam within 10-15 minutes and was greeted by two very friendly and chatty nurses (I am chatty so this immediately put me at ease). Again Dr Aslam explained what he would be doing, the anaesthetic injections can be daunting but having had these elsewhere previously, Dr Aslam takes such care in executing this part of the procedure it was over and fully numb within minutes. Once numb you cannot feel a thing. I had the first incision and removal and this was cauterised and bandaged and I returned to reception whilst the testing of the removed cells took place. I then was recalled and unfortunately had to have a further removal as cells were still present, the same procedure was repeated and I again returned to reception. Thankfully this concluded all cells had been removed but I now had a wound site circa 1cm in diameter.
