About Mr Chun Hong Tang

Dr Chun Tang is a Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon with an NHS practice at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. His clinical expertise covers the full spectrum of children’s bone and joint conditions, with a subspecialist focus on paediatric and adolescent knee disorders, including soft tissue reconstruction and corrective knee surgery.

Dr Tang graduated in Medicine from King’s College London, where he received Distinction in Basic Medical Sciences. He completed his basic surgical training in Nottingham, followed by specialist Orthopaedic Training within the Yorkshire Surgical Deanery. Upon obtaining his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), he pursued advanced subspecialist fellowships at Sheffield Children’s Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital, gaining extensive experience in complex paediatric orthopaedic conditions.

Furthering his expertise, Dr Tang undertook a bespoke fellowship in Paediatric and Adolescent Knee Surgery, combining adult and adolescent knee training at the Derby Sports Knee Department, one of the UK’s leading centres for sports-related knee surgery.
