Staff are amazing and caring, the problem is not enough staff, only 2 at a time on dementia unit. When they are assisting someone in their room there are no staff to keep an eye on residents in rest of unit. These residents have little understanding of their behaviour or instructions, have poor mobilty and coordination. Myself, as a visitor has had to intervene on several occasions to prevent falls or fighting, and I witnessed other visitors doing the same. This is not my job. I can't fault what the staff do, they go above and beyond and do their best, the issue is understaffing. I'm not making these comments to cause trouble but because I have concerns about safeguarding and feel that all is needed is more appropriate staffing levels. There should also be a male carer on at all times for male residents, and always the same group of staff for familiarity.

I am Betty's daughter. My mum has mobility issues. Getting her from the car park into the diagnostics centre was incredibly difficult. We borrowed a wheel chair from the helpful car park attendant. But it was raining so heavily that by the time we got inside my 87yr old mum was soaked to the skin. She had to sit in wet clothing for 4.5hrs until I got her home and changed. Luckily the car park attendant helped us back to the car at the end of her procedure. You REALLY need a drop-off right zone at the door to the centre, with seats inside to help relatives get their lives ingress in safely.. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, but even with their help, this was a very stressful visit fdue to lack of access and horrendous weather conditions.

The reception was not particularly efficient. I’d paid for the consultation in advance but asked for payment. I did have to pay for blood tests & waited 25 minutes because the receptionist was unable to transfer the amount from the laptop to the card machine. The dryer in the first floor toilet was broken but no hand towels were provided to dry my hands. It was the same exactly a week earlier. I also received numerous text messages & emails most were repetitive & caused confusion as several arrived the same day. The saving grace was thankfully the clinical staff were friendly & efficient.

I can't thank Mr Sasi enough for everything he has done, from day 1 of turning up, with the unknown of the lump and he showed complete empathy towards me, all the way through to the operation and being advised I am now cancer free! He explained everything to me, time and time again until I understood it.. also the operation he performed was so neat and tidy and I would be proud to show my scars off! Also Filipa his nurse was amazing and understands too would not hesitate to recommend him

I previously had septoplasty surgery at a different hospital and I would say this Experiance at this hospital has been a lot better the recovery was smooth and pain free where as before it wasn’t. I was told about the procedure and the process at the consultation and before the surgery, Dr chateau came and visited me before the surgery to make sure I was feeling ok. I would recommend surgery with dr chatath as it was a good experience over all.

Arrived in good time but parking was appalling. No toilet in the temporary scanner, so had to find another in main building. Was a little out of breath in return and was sent straight in. Told to stay still, but was still breathing a little hard which wasn’t taken into account. The staff were pleasant but seemed to give up on me when I couldn’t hear instructions through the headphones (I had been told to wear ear protection buds underneath).

Mr Nuochiri took the necessary steps to make me feel extremely comfortable as a patient which allowed me to trust his advice and recommendations. Pre-surgery appointments and procedure were treated with care, my surgery was clearly explained and turned out successful. Post surgery follow up was also informative and relevant advice was provided in order for me to feel confident in the necessary actions I should take going forward

Mr Vui Vun Wong

Mr Wong was brilliant. On my initial consultation he reviewed my scan reports and provided me with a number of possible options to move forward. I eventually opted for surgery and Mr Wong operated on me. I am 4 weeks post surgery and feel like a new person. I know that surgery is always a big and sometimes not particularly easy decision but I couldn’t recommend Mr Wong highly enough.

I have an aversion of MRIs from previous experiences. The staff were extremely attentive and they provided an eye patch and other forms of hearing aids to make the 30 minutes more comfortable. When I went on to talk to my consultant all the MRI results were available to help the consultation.
