Throughout my nursing career I have worked with many consultants in both the public and private sectors, I was exceptionally disappointed in the lack of care, compassion and empathy I was shown during my appointment! * He shook the previous patients hand, he did not even offer his hand to me, nor did he introduce himself. * He recorded the whole consultation on his phone without asking for consent. * He didn’t undertake a thorough examination, all he did was ask me to bend and straighten my leg, pushed my knee to see where the pain was. No assessing me walking, rotating nothing. * No assessing my pain, or asking what analgesia I take. * The treatment decision was made on an X-ray which is from 2024, I had to push for him to read my MRI from Oct 2025. Which he only skim read. * Said I need to stop exercising as it doesn’t help, I need to go on monjaro (which is clinically not advised for me with a HBa1C of 26!) for weight loss, and then I need a knee replacement. Also I need to eat less without asking what I eat. * Said arthroscopy would be futile, and the meniscal tear is part of life! Despite not looking at the MRI to see the extent of the tear. I then asked about having my 33mm cyst aspirated which he said he can arrange if I want it. Which I said I do! * I was out in less than 10 mins!!!

I sought treatment after being refused by the state health care services here in Germany. They congratulated me that I was healthy when my bloodworm showed testosterone levels of 280ng/dL (cut off point for treatment is 220) and sent me on my way, feeling exhausted no matter how much rest or sleep I got I wasn’t able to be a good dad for my two little children which is heartbreaking for me. So I took matters into my own hands and settled on BMH after contacting a few provider. Extremely professional, the case manager Tal was consistently attentive, showed genuine interest in my case. After two blood tests over the course of six weeks I was accepted and within a couple of weeks thereafter started treatment. Well, what a life changing experience that was. If you have creaking joints, feel tired all the time, libido on the way out, just go for it. Become alive again. No need to live like that. Anyway, I hope that is convincing enough for you dear reader! State health services are no longer fit for purpose. Whether you get treatment is a financial decision and doesn’t reflect your suffering. So take your health into your own hands.

At times I felt patronised, or belittled for my personal thoughts and queries. There was a situation which got out of hand were he would come to me and tell me everything I'd be saying behind his back to the nurses and was not happy at all about me doing this even though it wasn't criticism about him, they were confidential comments I was suggesting to the nurses to make my experience here better such as having a 10 minute warning before Dr Burke would be visiting. Overall Dr Burke is a very good Doctor who knows a lot about medications and about the mental health conditions I've been facing, however I don't think we were the best match as I am someone who likes to discuss alternative options especially when it comes to medications and I felt I didn't get a say in any of my treatment plans and what I would be more comfortable with, it would be shut down very quickly.

Thanks to everyone at Freedom Vision in Bromley for giving me a positive experience throughout my time with them.  I was very nervous to have the procedure, but it went smoothly and led to an excellent outcome.  Having had my cataracts removed from both eyes and RayOne Galaxy Toric multifocal replacement lenses fitted, I now have amazing eyesight for distant, intermediate and near vision.  I am especially grateful to the optometrist and the surgeon for their expertise and care, and to Chirag, the Patient Liaison Manager who always made me feel well supported.

My scar, after just over two weeks post surgery, is almost invisible and placed so carefully and thoughtfully along a muscle line, that in time it will disappear completely. Received care following cataract surgery on 30 September 2025 and 06 January 2026. From walking through the doors on my first visit (presurgery) in June 2025 I was put at ease at all stages throughout my visits from the reception staff, the assessment staff pre surgery and the operating staff, pre and post surgery staff and the surgeon himself. Any questions IAd were answered very thoroughly.

I saw Mr. Davda in April 2025 for a consultation regarding pain caused by arthritis in my big toe. Mr. Davda gave clear advice which resulted in chielectomy surgery in May 2025. The surgery went very smoothly and the recovery process was as outlined by Mr. Davda. I am pleased to say that the treatment was successful and, over six months on from surgery, I am not currently experiencing pain.

Ramy Bassily has been fantastic all through my treatment. I need surgery, cataracts and new lenses. He has supported me all through the process with excellent back up from the Nuffield. I have now completed and been signed off but he still offers his support if needed. I couldn’t rate him high enough. Customer service is terrible. I have had to ring four times over two weeks to get a simple issue resolved with a prescription and they never had the courtesy to call back. When I did get a solution they insisted that they could not post out the prescription, and that I would have to collect it, 90 minute drive in the snow.

Both ladies were very friendly and professional, cast change was smooth and problem free. I was kept informed about every step of the procedure. I was even give choice of my cast color 😉

Rang Deben healthcare and Dr able to see me within half an hour. Dr was very thorough and carried out a small procedure. Issued a prescription for antibiotic cream.
