I cannot recommend Louis highly enough for varicose vein ultrasound assessment. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease and confident that I was in very safe hands. Louis is an outstanding vascular scientist, his knowledge, confidence, and attention to detail are immediately apparent. He took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly, ensuring I fully understood what he was assessing during the ultrasound scan and what the findings meant. Nothing felt rushed, and every question I had was answered with clarity and reassurance. The ultrasound scan itself was extremely thorough and carried out to an exceptionally high standard. Louis’ scanning technique was meticulous, and it was clear he has a deep understanding of ultrasound. He explained what he was seeing throughout the scan, which was incredibly reassuring and gave me complete confidence in the accuracy of the assessment. What really stood out was the level of care throughout the appointment. Louis is not only highly skilled but also calm, approachable, and professional. He made what could have been a daunting appointment feel relaxed, informative, and reassuring, and I left feeling fully informed and confident in the next steps discussed. He got the report sent over to my surgeon straight away which was really great as I could have a follow up appointment within the week. I met with my surgeon online. The online facility works extremely well. I noticed that I was sent two new reminders of the meeting on the day with direct links. I like this new approach very much. As always, the surgeon, Prof J Murphy, was prompt and conducted the consultancy with detailed feedback, including the sharing onscreen of a third party report which was extremely helpful and informative. Prof J Murphy has an extremely open, honest and clear approach to discussing aspects of the individual patient’s health that are not easy to discuss. This allows the patient to feel their case is being carefully monitored, considered and options, going forward are shared and discussed with them. This surgeon engenders great trust in his review of information, liaison with others specialists, communication, surgical treatment and overall management of the individual patient’s case.

I had a day procedure at the Lindo Wing and the experience was excellent. The doctors and nurses were incredibly supportive, professional, and kind, which made a stressful situation much easier to cope with. The entire process, from arranging the initial consultation to scheduling the procedure, was handled very efficiently, with minimal waiting time. The medical staff took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable and well cared for throughout the day. The environment was calm, clean, and reassuring, and I truly felt that I was in very safe hands. I am very grateful for the care and compassion shown by the whole team.

I had a pre operative test at Bushey Spires Hospital and it transpired that I had a heart issue which precluded me from being given a G.A, I was told to see a cardiologist and BUPA gave me the name of Dr Jain He saw me within a couple of days, and I had many tests before being diagnosed with Atriul Fribrilation. He started me on a course of medication immediately His manner was fantastic, he told me everything every step of the way. I was very scared of my future, but he was re assuring and made me feel both safe and secure. I had cardio version, and now out of Heart Failure. I can recommend him 100%. Unreservedly

Welcoming and helpful. Only one lift was working and the remaining one was noisy and slow but there was a notice advising of this. The coffee machine in wait area was out of order Reception staff were kind and helpful but sometimes difficult to understand accent. One set of chairs in a sub waiting area was under a shelf which meant I knocked my head. Appeared clean and efficient and was quiet on day of my visit. Preoperative bloods were done straight after consultation which is very good and in fact results appeared next day. That's good service. Overall allowing for things that happen a positive experience.

Had the most amazing time at Abbington House, was exactly what I needed. Was immediately made to feel welcome by staff and clients, everyone has been so warm, friendly and non - judgemental. Food was excellent and the chef Marion was amazing at catering for everyone’s individual needs. I’ve gotten so much out of the groups and one on one sessions. After 28 days I feel like I have been given an amazing framework to take with me on the outside and have met a community that will stay with me throughout the rest of my journey.
