I had the pleasure of working with Andrea for quite a long time after having a car accident. She took time to get to know me and what items I really wanted to work on. Each week we found ways that worked for me to express my self and through this she was able to give me amazing direction and grounding techniques to really help my anxiety in the car. I have not only used what we have learned together on the car but have pulled it into my everyday life. I feel lighter and happier. This was life changing for me and I’m so glad we were out together. I have only had one consultation with Professor Westcott, but the visit of professional, I did not feel rushed but I felt a bit disorientated while I was there as I did not know what to expect. There was little explaination by the person at the GF reception - I just had to fill in a form. There was no explaination about where to go ... just upstairs to the first floor and I sat down on a seat in a small recess, which turned out to be the right place. I was further disorientated when I had to take my contact lens out and could not see. However, this did not detract from the overall very good experience of seeing Prof Westcott and his Secretary.

Having already one total knee replacement done by Mr Krkovic, I am looking forward to the next operation. Mr Krkovic is highly knowledgeable, understanding and explains all options and outcomes thoroughly in order to aid the patient in making decisions based on best possible personal outcomes. The range of movement I now have in my new knee is amazing and, whilst I do t think I'll be able to chase after my grandchildren at any speed, my quality of life has improved considerably.

I think the Doctors Lounge is such a great personal investment. You are able to see a doctor quickly, they have all your notes in front of them and have excellent referal doctors should you need further support. I cannot recomend Dr. Nik Chopra and his team more highly. It also means you take pressure off your local GP who can then spend their time with patients who need to use the NHS service. Think outstanding service and value for money.

All the staff at the Spire Hospital were helpful & nothing was too much trouble so that I felt listened to in terms of my needs & any fears I had. I felt reassured that I was in excellent hands when it came to pain relief particularly immediately post op & was encouraged to get out of bed as soon as I was able. The food was enjoyable & there was a good variety which certainly helped my recovery & my room was light & very clean.

RTN Mental Health - Right To Choose

My GP sent referral for RTN in January 2025. According to their announcement on the ADHD website, the waiting time was 8-9 weeks. Unfortunately, I was waiting couple of months. My assessment was done in October and on my outcome appointment, which was a year after, the 3rd doctor was involved a d decided to do one more assessment. Without prior arrangement or agreement. Poor customer service, dishonest administration.

Mr Achal Khanna

Returned for my 6 week follow-up post left side inguinal hernia repair on the 5th Jan. Text book recovery. Mr Khanna inspected the site and confirmed it was holding strong. I’ve returned to running +10k. Lifting weights in the gym. As of 17th Jan it feels great. Having to hold myself back for a few more weeks. No pain on any activity now. Mr Khanna has worked his magic.

Prior to the appointment we we were informed that the hospital couldn't book the appointment as referral letter didn't specify the type of scan required. However this was clearly stated at the top and I had to point this out. The appointment was then cancelled and we had to wait another week for the next available. Radiographer was then at least 20 minutes late.

My recent visit here was to have my operation done and what a lovely, kind, caring, clean hospital Spire Cardiff is. I wasn’t waiting long before being shown to my room, the staff were all out of this world amazing. So lovely, made you feel at ease and comfortable. Nothing was too much for them. The room was to a very high standard of cleanliness also.
