By this year, most mornings took me 30–90 minutes just to feel well enough to leave the house, and I was still coughing throughout the day. I saw countless doctors and even ended up in A&E several times, but nothing truly helped. Finally, I decided to go private and booked an appointment with Dr. Amran — and I am so grateful I did. Within minutes of explaining my history, she understood exactly what was going on and knew precisely what treatment I needed. Thanks to her, my chest now feels the way it did back in 2019. She is an exceptional doctor: knowledgeable, compassionate, patient, and genuinely invested in the people she treats. The appointment appeared on My Chart with very little information about who originated it and what its purpose was. Phone calls to the appointments team produced no further information. We thought it could be bad news that had to be communicated face-to-face. The journey cost £60 and necessarily exposed me to some infection risk. When we got there and were directed to outpatients, we were not called. In the end we discovered that a senior nurse called Muriel was expecting a telephone consultation, which is what we actually did in the outpatients area. I think you need to ensure that appointments do not go on the My Chart system unless it is clear what the purpose of the appointment is and who has originated it.

Dr Milestone could not have been more helpful or supportive during my recent time as his patient. I had been experiencing symptoms which had been unexplained for months, and which had led to a lot of anxiety for me. He was very kind, very clear in his explanations, and arranged the investigations I required with efficiency and speed. His department is known within the hospital for its quality and I found this absolutely to be my experience in practice. I am very grateful to him for his help. I now have a diagnosis, and even though it isn't good news, I feel in safe hands going forwards.

Seeing my husbands, gashed and bruised face after a fall, when he lost balance, the lady there saw him immediately, help me persuade him to attend A and E, which he previously refused!! Took wonderful care of him, and gave us the most generous discount, because she felt he had been traumatised enough! We will certainly recommend your service. In general, their service is excellent and easy to navigate. The only minor inconvenience is a small systems organisation issue. Data collection forms are sent as soon as follow-up appointments are scheduled (6 months in advance), and so the information would be out of date if completed at this stage. A workaround is to email for a new form link shortly before the appointment date, and to their credit they are always happy to comply with this.

Excellent doctor. He operated on me years ago - that operation was a complete success. I've spoken to a few other people who had the same procedure and I'm sure I've come out of it better than all of them. I wanted Mr Mendoza to check the surgery site as I have been experiencing some pain. He was able to examine me and provide reassurance that there is nothing seriously wrong.
