I first saw Professor Finlay as an NHS patient in January 2025 and one of the first things he said was that he could definitely improve my heart arrhythmia and improve my quality of life. He was right. He explained everything clearly without a lot of medical jargon and listened to my concerns. He is down to earth and doesn’t sugar coat things. He has seen me regularly for consultations and carried out another procedure when it became necessary. In these days where it’s sometimes difficult to trust people, I can honestly say that I trust Professor Finlay 100% to do the very best for me. I feel great and at 82 looking forward to travelling to Cairo next month.

Unfortunately, they were running behind schedule. About 10 mins after my appointment time I was advised that I would not be seen for around 45 minutes. About 45 mimutes later I was advised that I was next in line. I was eventually seen about 80 minutes after my appointment time. Whilst delay was frustrating the communication was good and understand the delay created by unrealistic time per patient schedule.

I visited the clinic today with my elderly mother who is experiencing a number of health concerns. Dr Oates was kind professional and extremely thorough during the consultation. The 12-month or so wait time was out of Ravi’s hands and in fact the timing of the procedure worked well for me in the end due to it being right before the Christmas holidays. Everyone at Spire Wellesley was fab, even if my discharge at the end of the day took longer than expected it wasn’t a problem and I was really pleased with all the care and professionalism provided by everyone. 9/10 My Sonographer Rima Shah was fantastic, professional and informative. To improve the service i think it would be nice if a cardiologists could quickly glance/look over results and give a brief written note/summary of results/heart health. It is a shame that in order to get a cardiologists insight/reassurance I then have to rebook and pay for an additional appointment.

The explanation of exercises were clear, both in the session, and the written info that followed. The follow-up session was useful to review progress, and Daniel suggested some helpful steps to try and prevent the issue recurring.
