My experience at the breast clinic was absolutely excellent from start to finish. The entire team was professional, compassionate, and incredibly reassuring. I was 3rd in line but still got there at 8:30. This meant I was waiting around for 2 hours. Then on the other side of the procedure everything was so stressed and rushed. I took a little while to come round but literally as soon as I opened my eyes I was being hassled to contact my husband to come for me/to get dressed/to go to the toilet/ to eat. It was really horrible. No-one took my cannula out, I had to ask and that was done in such a rush. Then I was sent to reception still feeling very woozy and vulnerable. Not what I was expecting.

Coming accross consultants like Dr mehra is sadly no longer the norm and it is very reassuring to know one is in such good hands when delievered with such hard news to process.

I found Richard SCAWN extremely likeable. He did not try to persuade me into the operation, but explained all the benefits clearly. I was more than impressed when I sent him a message at the weekend post op. To say I was concerned about my eyes, that he took to trouble to come to my house to check there was no infection and reassure me all was well. After 3 weeks my eyes are healing really well and are looking great. I recommend Mr SCAWN and thank him for “a new me!!)

Visited your clinic yesterday. Arrived about 10mins late (appointment was 2.30pm), rang to warn, telephone reply was calm and reassuring, Young lady in the clinic was very polite and friendly. Sorted the problem in about 10mins, everything calm and relaxed. Left ear-piece, the transparent part, was identified as faulty and needed to be posted off to Oticon, return expected in about a week's time. Reception and treatment faultless and very much appreciated.

When arrived at the Hospital, easy parking. The reception was friendly And efficient with a short wait to be taken through to a private room. Clean and comfortable apart from the heating it was a bit chilly, but when commented on a mobile heater was brought in. Staff was efficient in their duties. A longish wait but that is inevitable according to the number of patients. Overall it was excellent and the nurse Paul was very attentive and professional.

In my first appointment with Sophie from Mental Health Dietitians, she met me where I was at - a bit ambivalent about actually working on my eating disorder. Sophie knew the right pace to go, helping me start with really small changes so that I started to get some forward momentum, but didn't get overwhelmed. She is kind, caring, compassionate, and really knowledgeable. I feel really supported.
