Usually feedback is of a negative nature but this is not one of those occasions. My experience was awesome for which I am super grateful. I have had a number of gastroscopies in my life so was nervous about what was going to happen. From the moment of my arrival I was greeted and made to feel comfortable straight away. The pre-procedure nurses were very clear, helpful and showed huge amounts of empathy about what was going to happen. When wheeled into the operating theatre I was introduced to all of the team who were to perform the procedure, all of whom had welcoming smiles and a reassuring tone (a tone that continued throughout the procedure). Dr Alan Watson was super clear, professional and again very comforting. I knew I was in safe hands. I just had a throat spray, no sedation, so was fully aware of what was going on. One action that was performed by a nurse during the procedure was to, comfortingly, rub my shoulder. I couldn’t see who it was, but such a small, seemingly insignificant action, was hugely important to me and kept me connected with humanity during the brutal fact that I had a scope down my throat. Post procedure, I was greeted with the warm smiles again and wheeled to the recovery area where again everyone was super attentive. I can’t say thank you enough for everything. The team were awesome.

I am so grateful to Delamere for my 4-week stay. The facilities are truly incredible - comfortable, well-appointed and a palpable feeling of safety. The staff are such caring, friendly and interesting people - with the relevant experience to truly empathise and help with our unique circumstances. The food is world-class, with a wide range of options and affordances for those with dietary restrictions. The suite of experiential options will introduce you to new therapeutic experiences, many of which you may take away with you. The curriculum is focussed and has real depth, and is taught by professionals with real experience of addiction. The clinical staff are wonderfully attentive and caring, and will move mountains to make you comfortable. I am so pleased to have made the decision to stay at Delamere and would recommend it whole heartedly to anyone who wants to make a change.

She is an exceptional professional, highly knowledgeable, meticulous, and truly dedicated to her patients. Throughout the scan, she was incredibly thorough and explained every step with clarity and care, which made me feel completely at ease. Vera was recommended to me by an acquaintance whose life she quite literally saved by diagnosing a condition that others had overlooked. After my own experience, I fully understand why she is held in such high regard. I’m deeply grateful for her expertise and compassion and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking top quality care.

As previously commented, the experience at the clinic was faultless. This is particularly important for those in unfamiliar surroundings. Reception staff were charming, reassuring, happy to help and crisply efficient. I knew my consultant well and was seen on time, after a short while in the comfortable surrounds of the waiting room - excellent coffee! I will attend again in the Spring and feel confident this will be an equally satisfying experience, in the knowledge the expertise of my consultant and the LUS practice, housed at the HCA Clinic, must be amongst the finest available anywhere.

Mr Parmar saw me after referral for root pain under an old crown, which escalated some what after my dental referral. I was in a lot of pain and very anxious given that my dentist could not deal with the issue due to proximity to the nerve and facial numbness. Mr Parmar instantly reassured me and fitted me in for surgery the day after my initial consultation, which was lucky due to timing just before the Xmas break. The team on the OCD ward incredibly kind caring and compassionate. It's like being part of a family, including the other 5 patients here. Although, it was challenging at times, I've learnt so much about my condition and I now realise that my beliefs does not necessarily mean it's true. If you're suffering with OCD and feel like you're alone or you have nowhere else to turn to, I highly recommend the Nightingale's 28 day inpatient stay.
