My last visit was a 6 month follow-up on my second TKR. The first knee had recovered very quickly, and so I was disappointed when the seond knee seemed to be taking longer. I was experiencIng pain in the gluteus muscles/hip area and down into the knee which was hampering my ability to walk very far or very well, although the knee itself felt stable. I had set myself a daily goal of 6000 steps or 25 minutes of continuous walking to try and improve matters. Mr Davies listened carefully to my explanation and then conducted a thorough examination. He reassured me that the knee was nice and straight and healing well, and that the hip was not part of the problem either. He suggested two different options - referral to a colleague in another discipline for further investigation or continue with my own programme of exercise with a telephone review in 3 months. I opted for the latter which proved to be the correct course of action, and have now been discharged by Mr Davies by mutual agreement. I have always found him to be very approachable and pragmatic. He explains things clearly, doesn't dismiss concerns, but offers simple and manageable solutions. I had a choice of 3 surgeons for these procedures but decided on Mr Davies because of his extensive expertise in this area and his commitment to ensuring better outcomes for his patients through on-going research.

I thoroughly recommend. I attended Dr McGrady's clinic to obtain a diagnosis and removal of a small bump on my nose which I thought might be a basal cell carcinoma.. Dr McGrady put me at ease by explaining that it wasn't a form of skin cancer but a sebaceous hyperplasia. He explained how he would remove it. He then thoroughly examined the rest of my face for any other skin issues He found 2 more sebaceous hyperplasia and removed all 3 by using cryotherapy. The procedure was quick,and I am very pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend Dr McGrady and his team. I have attended his clinic before for a similar diagnosis and removal. He has so much knowledge and expertise, is a good communicator and made me feel at ease..

I have already set out my praise for Seth in the previous comments but what specifically stood out on my most recent session with him was his probing on whether I was neurodivergent. At first this seemed random and irrelevant to my ankle and knee issues but, upon informing him that I had autism, he explained that there could in fact be a clear link (and also help make sense of other things I deal with that I’d never disclosed to him). It was, in my view, a moment of genius and his clear, thoughtful approach to setting out his thinking was brilliant. I’ve been to a lot of physiotherapists and consultants but none have ever thought to enquire about neurodivergence. Seth has been so good to me and I can’t thank him enough.

I was seen at breast clinic as a precautionary investigation I was nervous but I was met with such friendly natural staff which instantlymmade me feel at ease i was checked by the Dr then sent for a mammogram and then aent for an Uktrasound scan I am pleased to report that everything was normal and no concerns I thanked the dr profusely when he told me that everything was normal and i spoke highly to him about my having all the results within the time i was there I cannot thank you enough and thank the NHS for sending me there as I would not have ever wanted to wait for breast cancer screening results so to have them on the same night was so reassuring Thank you a nmillion times S

Wonderful care from good staff but the bed was uncomfortable and the room was too small and felt airless and too hot. But the main thing is that hopefully this surgery will enable me to have a better quality of life. I already feel that my powers of concentration have improved and my brain is working better. It seems to me that once the soreness and itchy neck skin heals I will be back at the gym in January feeling thirty years younger. The hospital has done a good job and staff team are excellent. My only recommendation is that you knock the building down and build some more comfortable bedrooms with good ventilation with some comfortable beds for tall people.

Mr Cohen is very efficient and professional and has an excellent bed side manner and very approachable. I have seen it before and after my rectal procedure at Cleveland Clinic. Dr Margarita was very knowledgeable and kind. I would definitely recommend coming to the Lantern Clinic. I felt listened too and she emphasised as a woman with my issues. I had plenty of time to chat and didn’t feel rushed,. Dr Margarita devised a plan for me to follow and recommended a gold standard brand of supplements I should start. I am booked in for a follow up appointment in several weeks time, to discuss how my treatment plan went and if I saw improvements.

Mr Dimitri is very personable and an excellent consultant. I was booked in to have my varicose veins glued, he explained the procedure thoroughly. I was extremely nervous on the day but both he and Carys were patient and kind, they even put my choice of film on the TV to watch during the procedure! After being very self conscious of my unsightly veins they are now nowhere to be seen. Excellent results and I really couldn’t be happier!

Very clean building with plenty of parking. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Doctor and nurse were extremely kind, patient and helpful. I'm a really nervous patient and I'm sure I was a pain but they never let on. Explained everything at the end. Sent me lots of information in great detail. Communication is very organised and timely. Doctor followed up over the phone and sends me results really quickly over email.

Visit was great. Nurse was very friendly, explained everything very thoroughly. The only thing I can say is the waiting room which was a bit overcrowded as it seemed like there was a person who had an appointment and had at least 5 more person escorting. I think this should not be allowed. One escort for a patient is fine.
