He has taught and trained many of the ENT consultants currently practicing in London, and his expertise, precision, and judgement are truly exceptional. He recently performed a tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and grommet insertion for my son, and the experience could not have been better. The surgery was perfectly executed, and the recovery went smoothly thanks to his outstanding skill and attention to detail. Another remarkable aspect of being under Mr. Hartley’s care is the exceptional support provided by his assistants. They are highly capable, attentive, and responsive — always available to help, even without an appointment. On several occasions, they went above and beyond to ensure they could help with anything urgent we needed. I found Mr Akula to be very pleasant and professional. When I first saw him I needed a mobility scooter to be able to go outside the house and even had trouble standing for more than a few minutes. His explanations were very clear and concise and he was quite happy for my wife to attend the consultations. The spinal decompression surgery on 2 Sept went well with no real discomfort afterwards. The procedure has transformed my life (and my wife's as well). I can walk 2-3 miles now and whilst it's not totally comfortable, it is not a real problem. Just wish I had seen Mr Akula a year earlier

I was referred to the breast clinic after finding a lump in my breast at 8 months pregnant and still being there 12 weeks PP. Ms Alison Luther was professional, informative, reassuring and made me feel very relaxed and at ease for what wasn’t a very pleasant reason to be there for. She reassured me that my lump was nothing to worry about but assured me if anything changed that I could come back. She really made a not so pleasant issue be a pleasant experience and I’m grateful for that.

The Spire has excellent facilities (car parking, waiting area, consulting rooms etc) and the reception staff are very attentive and helpful. The “formal check in” using an iPad is an unnecessary hurdle for patients to negotiate. The earlier system of just checking in with the receptionist was much better. My appointment with Dr. Balerdi was on time and a very useful session. Re. Dr. Balerdi himself, my very postive comments are in an earlier section.

I walked up 12 floors as there were no lifts available.Only 14% capacity.I got to the Thames view suite via the cardiac lift because a cardiac unit staff member took pity on me and put me into lift 14 to complete my Access Path to the private patients unit. What on earth is going on and why does the lift maintenance contract not have a 50% minimum functionality profile as a term for service?
