My experience at the Fitzrovia private maternity suite at UCLH was exceptional from start to finish. The room's were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and calm - exactly what you hope for during such an important emotional time. The food was genuinely excellent, with a great variety of choices, which made a real difference during recovery and long days on the ward. Most importantly, the staff were absolutely amazing. From the midwives and healthcare assistance to the catering team, every single person was kind, caring and professional. The midwives were extremely knowledgeable and always on hand to support and reassure, no matter the time of day. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. What truly stood out was the continuity of care even after discharge. The midwives remained available to support me with breastfeeding and post cesarean aftercare, which was invaluable and made me feel supported well beyond my stay. I cannot fault the Fitzrovia private maternity suite at UCLH. The standard of care, compassion, and attention to detail where outstanding, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering private maternity to care.

The waiting area felt like a barricaded corridor that was set up to harvest organs down the back of an alleyway. With the scales about a stretch of an arm away from the tightly seated row of patients looking directly at you, not much was existent of privacy. The room that I went into for pre op observation could be mistaken for the entrance door to a toilet cubicle. Inside was much similar. Repeated knocking from other staff member during your appointment also made the whole thing seem rushed. It didn’t feel like England, let alone Spencer.

Positive perks - the waiting room had adjustable height chairs meaning I didn't have to struggle getting in and out of chairs! Dr Chinoy didn't judge me, or make me feel rushed or that I was an inconvenience (something I have grown accustomed to from the nhs). Despite my symptoms not fitting in with his specialities he recommended a colleague who he feels confident would be able to meet my needs. Although private care is hard on my wallet as a self funder, the advice, treatment and service I received overall made it more than worthwhile.

Dr Denton is not only a medical professional but a lovely, caring person dedicated to helping you look and feel better. Visiting Daleswood on many occasions has really helped me with my self-confidence, physical, and mental health. There is no hard sell, and Dr Denton will only recommend what is best for you, explaining the benefits and risks if there are any.

Kiera was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel very much at ease throughout my appointment. I was diagnosed with a Retina tear in my ear and she made me feel very much at ease and safe. She talked throughout, keeping me informed of everything that was happening, giving reassurance that everything will be ok and that should I need further information or just needed to chat at about it, I was to ring her and speak to her about it. Help and advice that was offered was exceptional!

I attended for a hernia operation.All went very well and I was well looked after and food was in abundance and good.I was well cared for and made to feel at ease by My surgeon and aneasthatists.My operation was nice and early and my surgeon came to explain how the op had gone I didn't then see anyone for hours and was planned to have an overnight stay but,got sent home that evening. I was discharged by a lovely nurse.

All the staff on the ward, theatre and recovery were very friendly and helpful. I was in room 5 and while l waited in the theatre gown I was cold. I was asked to change 3 hours before I was called to theatre. I noticed one of the radiators was not working which I reported on discharge. The actual procedure went very well and was kept informed of all things that were happening.
