Arrived early Saturday morning for a small knee operation. Taken to my room by a lovely friendly porter. Was invited immediately by catering to make a choice of food from an excellent menu. Then seen by nurses, anaesthetist, surgeon, who all explained exactly what was going to happen, in a relaxing manner, giving me complete confidence in their care. I was soon taken to theatre by the lovely chatty nurse & porter, that had been with me from my arrival. They obviously had a happy working relationship, including me in their chat to make me feel more relaxed. The anaesthetist was lovely, chatting about Christmas whilst calmly letting me drift into sleep. I woke up feeling well & refreshed, taken back to my room for a cuppa & delicious sandwich. The nurses continued their careful monitoring of me & I was soon seen by the physiotherapist who explained about the importance of my post-exercise sheet & use of crutches. Then a visit by Mr Slack, my amazing surgeon that had previously done my hip replacement, who explained what he’d done, that all had gone well, discharging me to go home & it’s only early afternoon. My painkillers arrive, my home instruction booklet is completed, I can go home. What fantastic care from all the staff & medical team, many thanks to you all.

Dana is truly amazing!! She looked after my wife throughout her pregnancy and delivered our second baby by elective Caesarean, and we honestly couldn’t have wished for anyone better. She is one of the kindest and most responsive doctors we’ve ever met. She was always there when we needed her, always reassuring, and she guided us through every stage with such calm confidence... especially when our baby’s growth slowed towards the end. She’s not only an incredible surgeon with flawless communication skills, but she’s also incredibly warm and genuinely caring. She didn’t just support my wife, she supported me too. Not all obstetricians take the time to involve partners or make them feel at ease, so it meant a great deal that she looked after both of us with such thoughtfulness. We’re so grateful to her for making a potentially stressful time feel so safe and positive. We can’t recommend her highly enough and genuinely can’t wait for her to deliver our next baby!

The assessment visit was fine in that I walked away with a clear diagnosis and a plan, but the experience was a little hectic due to cleaners coming in to prepare for the next appointment while we were still there, and the dr needing to take urgent calls as she was on duty at the time. The team I speak with are all very friendly but there seems to be a disconnect between the information exchanged on emails and whatsapp. I feel this may have led to a delay in starting treatment. Again, it's fine because I got it in the end, but there may be some part of the process/line of communication that needs review/improving. My initial virtual visit was at risk of being cancelled due to where I was having the call from. Thankfully, the doctor was able to accommodate another slot on the same day. I noticed that there is now a clear statement on the booking confirmation re: need to be in a private space for virtual calls, which is good.

The most stressful and frustrating part of using RTN services is the lack of communication and poor response times. I have used RTN both via the right to choose path and for a private assessment. You would expect the private service to be quicker and have better communication but this has not been my experience. It is impossible to get hold of anybody. I have sent multiple emails and left voicemail but there is no sense of urgency in responding and waiting times are long. You don't even receive an acknowledgement or holding email to manage expectations. Some very basic and easy changes could be made to make the customer experience so much better.

We chose Montrose as they appeared on a lot of ‘Right to Choose’ websites and were rated by the CQC and as soon as I called Mollie and the team’s support has been superb. The charges and plans were shared upfront and were explained well. We paid to have a private Adult ADHD assessment and the speed of the booking / assessment/report/ treatment plans and meetings were quick. Communication was excellent and most of all the support was top notch and expert. We have felt very supported and very secure that we are getting the best life changing support. He thoroughly investigate problems and acting together with the patients concerns, carefully plans and fully explains treatment options. Last year I had surgery for base of thumb arthritis and Carpal Tunnel syndrome. This was successful. However 8 weeks later I unfortunately fell and damaged my thumb! It was very reassuring to have Mr Roushdi tell me he could sort this out for me. I’ve now had my mcp joint fused. The result I’m now pain free. The first time for several years.

Treatment was required urgently as I was due to travel abroad and did not want a repeat of the abscess. Dr Naidoo was able to see me and start root canal treatment before I travelled, describing the treatment in detail so that I could make an informed decision. I was seen on return to this country and treatment was completed. The treatment was painless ad the quality of care was excellent. Voula provided a calm and caring environment for me. She reviewed the medical history, medications and lifestyle forms which I had completed before beginning the examination of each tooth, including the implant and the bridge.. After that she completed a scaling and polishing taking care to make a break so that I could take a rinse. The last step was to take an x-ray of the implant. She has the help of an assistant which makes the whole check up process efficient without making it hurried.

The London Clinic offers such a comfortable and clean environment, clinical in all the right ways, but still homely and warm. It feels far less “hospital-like” than most medical settings, which really helped me relax. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and genuinely approachable from the moment I walked in. And the unlimited coffee on tap was a lovely touch! Overall, a calm, high quality clinic experience that made a big difference to my visit.

However the link to download the report as PDF downloaded a zip file, which when I opened it, did not give me the opportunity to access the report. I eventually worked out a way to save the text on my computer.

Really simple to order medications. Fairly straightforward experience. The problem starts and ends when the fact that they use Royal mail for deliveries. Had I known, I would have ordered elsewhere. Royal mail consistently mess up on deliveries especially on my area, and it's impossible to get through to customers service (which is non-existent really at Royal Mail).
