Prompt service, at short notice

I received excellent treatment from Dr Grundy-Wheeler for thread veins. I was seen promptly, everything was explained to me about what to expect and the treatment carried out expertly.

I had a really positive experience with EPD today. The whole process felt calm and straightforward. Dr Scott was very professional and I felt listened to and well cared for. Dr Scott was thorough, reassuring and took the time to explain everything clearly to me. Thank you for your help and care.

High level of knowledge and professionalism

It was my first visit to Essex Private Doctors today and I had an appointment with Dr Beddoe. I appreciated the time to talk and not feel hurried!

All visits are fabulous, as are your front of house and all of your lovely medical professionals - there's only a couple of things I think I should mention (spirit of honesty), a few times I had tea made for me whilst I was waiting and 2/3 times the mugs weren't clean (lipstick / lip gloss marks). It's a small thing, but when you look forward to a cuppa, and someone has gone to the trouble of making it for you, you feel a bit bad to then leave it untouched. The other piece of feedback I'll try to articulate as best I can. The service / treatment I have received has been beyond excellent - truly exceeded my expectations (thank you), but there was one weird thing . . . . when you buy a 'programme' you expect it to have a beginning, a middle and an end and yet when I went to book my follow-up with Dr. Alice, I was asked to pay the £265.00 for that appointment. To be clear, this feedback isn't in relation to the money - it's not about that, it's more to do with having an excellent experience as a customer and then feeling like 'Oh, I guess the end bit of this programme isn't included'. I would rather have had that cost built-in at the beginning (which I wouldn't have batted an eye at) than have my experience with you contain even a speck of 'what?". It's the only place where my experience of the programme dipped a little and didn't match expectations. It's a bit like writing a sentence and forgetting the full stop. Outside of this, my experience has truly been exceptional, so I wonder why, after all the work that goes into the level of service you do provide, this cost isn't ...

Very efficient visit and experience. Good selection of appointment times and didn't feel at all rushed through my appointment.

The admin staff are so wonderfully helpful, friendly and elite in the way they handle patients and any requests that come through. Dr Eleanor Beddoe is the most professional, knowledgeable, kindest and most caring GP I have ever had the good fortune to meet. The advice and care she has given my mother through various concerns has made the biggest difference to her well-being and health. My mother and I are so grateful to her and we always feel in the safest of hands during and after our visits. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough and thank you.
