Clear, timely, professional...friendly, understanding

I only ever briefly spoke to Mr Bosco shortly before my operation. He was, however, very kind & reassuring. He explained the procedure fully & put my mind at ease. The incisions made looked bad afterwards, but have since healed very well & are barely noticeable 6 months down the line.

The care and compassion demonstrated was exceptional, extending to visiting me on the ward after quite shocking aftercare. There was not an element lacking in my and my wife's interaction with him including very clear explanations of what was proposed both from his side and that of his colleague. He was prepared, without a hint of being patronising, to go into the quite technical issues relating to the operation to help me understand when I requested him to do so. Were it not for the clear and accurate advice he and his colleague provided I would quite clearly have been incorrectly treated in Kent where they continued to maintain the treatment that has successfully led to my recovery was inappropriate. I will be eternally grateful for his care and suspect and I would either have died or have been unable to carry on if left in Kent without his input. I am now able to function more or less fully, still building physically on my recovery

The best doctor

Mr Bosco took considerable notice of all my comments. Unrushed congratulation in a relaxed manner which I feel is really important and also noted information and comments from my wife on her experiences of the situation I was in. It's difficult to impart this information when you experience the crushing pressure on your chest. Overall brilliant.

A very affable, professional and skilled consultant surgeon with whom I had every confidence when undergoing surgery myself. A pleasant man whom I rate very highly and would definitely go back to him if ever I need to in the future.

Extremely professional

Mr Bosco was very informative and honest throughout my consultations. He explained what would happen during and after my valve replacement. He made me feel totally at ease and was very professional. He was also very kind and reassuring to my husband before and after my operation. He contacted him after my operation letting him know the outcome.
