I found Mr Selway excellent from start to finish. He explained everything very clearly to me during my initial consultation, what was causing my symptoms and how he proposed to cure those issues with a surgical procedure (Posterior Cervical Foraminotomy) On the day of my surgery, Mr Selway visited my room in the morning and spent time once again, going over my surgery procedure in great detail with myself and my wife, putting us both at ease and ensuring we knew exactly what would be happening during surgery. Post op, Mr Selway was very personable both immediately after surgery, when he visited me to see how i was feeling and to tell me a little about how the surgery went etc..... Then during my 5 week post op appointment, he was again very personable in discussing my progress and anticipated full recovery. I can't thank him enough for relieving me of what was, at times, excruciating pain. Thank You

Ms Haque was wiling to explore different avenues in diagnosing me. She was quick to follow up and made sure I was feeling better after the treatment. After a difficult procedure, she let me take it easy and lie down until I felt better. She is an empathetic practitioner, with a lot of experience and professionalism. The only thing I would say the clinic could improve on is communications ahead of the appointment. I think I could have been better prepped for the duration and pain involved in the procedure. Also on my initial visit the clinic didn’t have my medical history which I did submit ahead of time.

My stay at Abbeycare Gloucester was exactly what I needed to aid my recovery. I arrived feeling hopeless and desperate. I felt safe and calm during my time here. The staff are so caring and understanding, while challenging the thinking and behaviors that got me here in the first place. This is my first time at Abbeycare but my 2nd time in rehab. Abbeycare is streets ahead of my previous experience. In that I left feeling more equipped to deal with life sober and supported. They have a strong aftercare program and community which I will use as part of my recovery journey. 10/10 from me. Rich W

Mr Dehne, has given me back my life. I needed a total knee replacement after suffering from an accident. He was very thorough in his explanations and examinations. He was extremely kind and thoughtful as I was extremely nervous about the surgery. He put me at ease and I trusted him implicitly. I’m so glad he was my surgeon, I might have to have my other knee done soon and there is only one man I want to have to do it. He is amazing. I’m totally indebted to him. Mr Malek was clear and precise when explaining my condition and so I knew exactly what to expect on the day of surgery and afterwards. This made the whole procedure as easy as possible and reassured me prior to the day of surgery. The hip replacement has been virtually pain free. I had some discomfort for 2 days, managed with medication, but after that recovery has been rapid with the physiotherapy provided. I am most grateful to Mr Malek for the Star Hip Replacement surgery and if I need my other hip replacing in the future I will be back to see him.

I’d definitely recommend your clinic but was a little disappointed today by the lack of sympathy from the sonographers when I went for my 6 week 4 day scan. I explained that the pregnancy wasn’t viable (I’d had a blood test at your clinic on Saturday and learn by HCG only increased 8% in 48 hrs) and this would be my third miscarriage in 12 months from my IVF pregnancies and I didn’t receive any shock or sympathy for this. It wasn’t a big deal but if the practice wants to be even better some additional warmth and sympathy would go a long way.

Thanks Andrew, you are very engaging and calm and I felt co0nfident in your professional opinion from our first meeting. I have been seeing the orthopaedic team in Tameside NHS for several years and they have not been prepared to carry out surgery withouit offering me only 20% of the original mobility of the joint and relief from daily pain. I waited longer than usual for my appointment but Mr Sharma was very apologetic. He examined and more importantly listened to me about my concerns. The follow up letter arrived promptly so action could be taken. He gave me a referral for an appointment to have steroid injection which I obtained within 24 hrs. Sadly the referral letter had a couple of mistakes but these were rectified very quickly. Very impressed with the process and we are all individuals so mistakes can happen.

I only saw Mr Lambert so cannot give feed back on any other member of his team. From being referred by someone who knows him well, I was predisposed to like him and respect his expertise, but hadn't expected to find such a a courteous, thoughtful, kind man who engaged with every aspect of me as a patient. Mr Lambert answered all my questions and was patient and understanding. I felt listened to, for the first time since I had my injury.

Billie was patient and took time to explain everything to me which made me feel relaxed and gave me confidence in her. As an elderly non-paying NHS patient I have sometimes, at other surgeries, felt that the dentist could not waste time on my treatment. This feels very uncomfortable for a vulnerable person. Please don't forget that these very patients have had many many years of paying for dental treatment.

Waiting over 60 minutes for an appointment that you schedule and pay for is quite poor. The excuse I got is gynaecologist appointments take longer. Okay, then play’ 30-60 mins between slots to allow for adequate timing. I had to get out of work and work the extra time that had I been offered the actual appointment time I wouldn’t have had to do that. Change your gynaecologist appointments calendar please
