Mr Elliot Benjamin

Mr Elliot Benjamin is a highly experienced Consultant ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) Surgeon with specialist expertise in otology (ear surgery) and paediatric ENT.

He studied medicine at the University of Bristol, where he first developed his interest in ENT during an elective at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital. He completed his specialist ENT training through the Thames training programme, developing subspecialist interests in paediatrics and ear surgery.

Mr Benjamin undertook further advanced training internationally and in leading UK centres, including the House Ear Institute in the USA, where he gained experience in complex middle ear and skull base surgery, and Great Ormond Street Hospital, where he specialised in paediatric airway evaluation and reconstruction.

He holds multiple prestigious qualifications, including MRCS, FRCS (ORL-HNS), and DLO, alongside a first-class honours BSc and honours in his medical degree. He has an extensive academic portfolio, with numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences. Some of his research—such as work on hearing loss and analyses related to the London Underground bombings—has been featured in national and international media.

Mr Benjamin has performed over 8,000 ENT procedures, including more than 600 major ear operations and a high volume of paediatric airway and general paediatric ENT surgeries. He served for 20 years as Consultant ENT Surgeon at Charing Cross Hospital, and as a paediatric ENT consultant and lead clinician at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. He also holds an academic role as Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London.

Deeply committed to education, he is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, acts as an e-tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and leads undergraduate ENT training at Imperial College.

In addition to his clinical and academic work, Mr Benjamin has received recognition such as the Tatler Top Consultant Award, contributed as a medical advisor to the TV show EastEnders, and appeared on the The One Show. He is known for delivering safe, professional, and patient-centred ENT care for both adults and children.
