I had an excellent experience with the hospital staff during my operation. The nurses were excellent going far and beyond to be helpful and caring. The doctors, Consultants etc were excellent doing a great job once I was admitted. The food I was given and the cleanliness of the hospital was excellent. However my experience with the administration was not at all good and it ruined my overall experience. My operation was cancelled three times without either apology or explanation. Even though I had paid for my bilateral hip replacement more than two months before surgery on FOUR occasions I was asked to pay again even after I had had a face to face meeting with Maura Wilson who was very helpful and finally sorted out my admission day after a very stressful month of March. The excuse made to me from front desk was that it was a computer generated letter sent out automatically. I find this to be fa flimsy excuse not to mention insulting. As I said this made my experience both stressful and worrying and also disappointing considering The highly esteemed name of Kingsbridge private hospital .

My experience at st Joseph’s was amazing from start to finish! From the moment I walked in until the end of my stay. I want to give a massive shout out to Taylor the nurse looking after me who helped me with everything and made sure I had everything I needed and went above and beyond, she was kind , caring and extremely supportive of me during my stay and I can’t thank her enough. During the end of my stay she went through all of my discharge information and explained everything clearly. I would also like to thank Les and Jade who helped me when I needed them! Helping me with getting out of bed and checking my obs. The food was lovely and all staff were very kind. The theatre staff made sure all my worries were at ease and were super professional and caring. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Thankyou to everyone who checked in on me and looked out for me!! Jake, Cath, Deb and all theatre team were phenomenal. Would definitely recommend. Overall an amazing experience and everyone involved were a credit to St Joseph’s Hospital

I cannot express how grateful I am to Dr Khan for the knee procedure he performed in 2024. After injuring my knee in 2016, I spent eight years struggling to resolve the issue despite two previous operations, including a meniscus repair. I was in daily pain and found simple tasks like walking or bending difficult, let alone exercise. From our first meeting, Dr Khan was understanding, compassionate, and confident. While other surgeons were reluctant to take action, he identified that my pain wasn't coming directly from the meniscus, but from a cyst at the back of my knee. This diagnosis perfectly matched my symptoms. It has now been 18 months since the operation. After 6 months of dedicated physiotherapy, I am finally pain-free and have made a gradual return to sport. This procedure has truly given me a new lease on life, enabling me to do things I feared I’d never do again. I am incredibly grateful to Dr Khan for such a life-changing result.

I got a surgery at Charing Cross Hospital and stayed there for 4 days. I don’t believe myself that I am missing hospital. I don’t miss the pain and sickness of surgery but I do really miss kindness of nurses and doctor. I was in ward 11 south and met with best people. I wanted to talk about how they treated me is very excellent, very kind, very amazing. That made me impressed and understood that why UK medical fields is number 1 in the world. Mr Rajah is extremely approachable and easy to talk to. He listens and discusses through the symptoms. Mr Rajah undertakes a 3D scan for endometriosis with excellent expertise and explains clearly what he is seeing as part of the scan. Takes the time after the scan to explain through the findings and options going forward. Always have a very good experience and Mr Rajah has always taken very good care of me with excellent professionalism and expertise. Very highly recommend Mr. Rajah.

The specialist nurse was very professional and polite. The appointment availability was ok, but it would have been good to have a choice of weekday, as Tuesdays and Wednesdays are not convenient for me. The nurse said that a clinic would open soon in Reigate, which would be much closer to my home and much more convenient for me, so I look forward to that for next year's appointment. The results letter arrived very quickly, so I was pleased with the speed of service.

Mr Dawson saved my breast and my life. Two years ago. Just been for my annual check up snd mammogram. He is very skilled as a surgeon and although he had to remove a hard lump my affected breast it is a great match for the other one. I can still wear bikinis and strappy summer and party frocks. He is also charming, smiley and a perfect gentleman.
