This was the first of 2 visits for cataracts surgery. I was a bit apprehensive but was well assured when getting into the clinic to have the surgery done. I was met by the receptionist Jen who was very friendly and made me feel welcome. I was then only waiting a very short time and called in by Sarah who booked me in. Sarah was very professional and made sure I was at ease with the process and knew everything that was going to happen. Had all my eye drops and waited to have the surgery. Was taken to a room to wait and was met by Mr Woodcock who was performing the surgery and also Hannah and Amy, who were all very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Nothing felt rushed and it was all very professional and extremely clean. The surgery was so quick and I felt comfortable throughout the whole process. I then was handed over to Manshi, who sat me down with a nice cup of tea and a biscuit which was perfect. Everything was explained ie the next process of aftercare and left with my goodie bag full of paperwork and drops. It was a quick efficient service and in all honesty it was like going to a posh spa with the best customer service. I am due to have my other eye done and I am 200% happier that I know it will all be good and have no worries. Great team, great place.

I think Dr Sharma herself was really excellent. But I found the admin around the appointment quite disorganised. I phoned to ask if all I needed was my Axa claim number but couldn't get through on the phone, so I left a voice message, but no one got back to me. So when I arrived for my appointment I specifically asked the receptionist if that was all they needed, and she said yes. And yet I later got a text message asking me for my Axa membership number too. Quite frankly, the message looked like a scam. It came from an 07 number, there was very little information in the message (perhaps for privacy reasons), with no mention of the hospital or Dr Sharma, and it did not address me by my name. It also mentioned phf.uk.com, which had not been in any of the previous information I had received. I phoned the hospital and thankfully someone did answer this time, and it was the woman who had sent the text message. I raised similar concerns to those outlined above, but she did not seem to understand or care, and her tone made me think she thought I was stupid for not magically understanding how things work internally. Again, Dr Sharma was really excellent, so I hope the admin side of things can be improved.

The Spire Wellesley is a quiet calm hospital. The facilities are always clean and well cared for, the staff attentive and pleasant. You can expect the path of your time with them to be fully and clearly explained and information of who will attend you, when and for what reason. You are prepared as soon as you arrive and surgery follows swiftly, which leaves you very little time to overthink or get anxious. I was never left worried, every member of staff introduced themselves and did whatever was necessary to reassure me and provide whatever was needed. It was all very quick and over before I knew it, for which I am grateful. You certainly will not be left hungry or thirsty, food is excellent, the selection is wide. My stay was relatively short, my surgery went well, my recovery and activity level after surgery good and whilst I could have stayed a 2nd night I was allowed to go home as there were no concerns. So I was on for a little over 24hrs altogether.

I was Referred to Mr Gordon at The Yorkshire Clinic following a previous diagnosis of an enlarged Benign Prostate, that had caused long term flow and erection and ejaculation issues !! I had looked into surgical options and after a very thorough and informative consultation with Mr Gordon decided that Aquablation surgery was most definitely the procedure for me ! The surgery was very straightforward and virtually pain free with some post surgery discomfort!! But now i have great flow and can get an erection and ejaculate all of which have been the result I was hoping for and in turn absolutely confidence boosting. The results reassuring me that Aquablation was the right procedure for me to have. I would without hesitation recommend Mr Gordon not only for his great care and attention but his understanding and support through the whole process !! I recently completed a course of radiotherapy for prostate centre using MR Linac technology at GenesisCare Surrey. Everything about my experience with GenesisCare was exceptional. Every member of staff I dealt with was kind, friendly, professional, caring and instilled complete confidence in me. The facility is brilliant and every smallest detail has been thought through (even down to the jigsaw in reception that kept my wife entertained while I was being treated). I was always seen promptly, or or on two occasions early. The atmosphere at GenesisCare was calming. The technology available is extraordinary. I was scared and upset when I got my cancer diagnosis on 10 September, and by 7 November I had completed my treatment on world-class technology delivered by such an amazing team. I would recommend GenesisCare unhesitatingly to anyone who needs cancer treatment.

I had an outstanding consultation with Dr. Coltart. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our appointment. Cataracts removal, both eyes: amazing from start to finish. Didn't feel a thing during the procedures; no soreness or bruising afterwards. Now apparent that not only are things clearer but all my previous issues of short-sight and astigmatism have been corrected. Night driving is now a doddle whereas before I had to severely restrict driving at night. My eyesight is pin-point sharp both for distance and medium. Mr. Anandan advised from the beginning that my eyes weren't suitable for lenses covering reading distance so I have to use reading glasses. However he advised that the cheap supermarket (Boots) ones are fine. This saves me over £400 a year compared to my previous glasses.

Got my Somnowell mouth guard fitted at Causeway Dental in Teddington. Highly recommend the dentist. She was great. The guard really does work if I’m sleeping on my side. My partner and I now sleep together in the same bed! I’ve had the guard for about 6 months- don’t wear it every night as we don’t live together. It does feel a bit weird to wear but I have got used to it. It’s not so useful when I’m on my back as I tend to breathe through my mouth and will snore then. This Somnowell information does address this issue. I would really recommend it - and have - if you snore a lot and have sleep apnea as I do. It really works.

She has been kind and gentle with him, and very reassuring to us as parents, from the first diagnosis through to treatment and the final post-treatment appointment. We never felt pressured into going ahead with treatment sooner than we were ready and she has always offered clear explanations. The treatment our baby son underwent did require a general anaesthetic for the procedure which we were nervous about, but Dr. Wong and her team were amazing. Thank you so much for the work that you do, it has really made a difference to us and our son.

I attended a pre-assessment appointment. My husband came along for support. From the moment we checked in at the reception to the time we left, we were looked after and cared for. My first port of call was to have a blood test. This was done in a highly professional manner and the level of care receive was exceptional. From there I was taken to the assessment nurse Rebekah. I instantly warmed to her as she went through everything I needed to know. Rebekah treated me with respect and dignity and explained the procedure to me step by step. Giving needed advice along the way.

Avni is absolutely brilliant and I cannot recommend her enough. She started treated me during pregnancy but I have continued to see her after. Avni is really caring and intuitive and the only osteopath that I have been to who really manages to address any pain that I have been experiencing. She doesn't insist that you come back week after week, unless the treatment specifically requires a few sessions. She takes a holistic approach to wellness and provides really useful tips and recommendations that have helped me in all aspects of life.

I contacted Dr Kumar because, following a stroke, the wait on the NHS for the recommended EchoCardiogram was 5.5 months. He arranged that for me within a couple of days and wrote back with the (good) results a few days after that. I then had a person to person consultation where I was able to ask lots of questions. He was highly professional, but what I especially appreciated was his kindness when I asked questions which felt a little silly, but had troubled me about palpitations, etc. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Steven is an excellent and empathetic therapist. After having several bad experiences with other therapists I met Steven and immediately felt at ease. Steven listens and is non judgemental. When I first started working with him earlier in the year following a traumatic car crash, I thought I would never drive again. Using EMDR therapy, it has taken hard work but I am now back to driving for which I will forever be grateful. I hope this gives hope to anyone in a similar scenario, and encourages you to reach out for help.

I first saw Mr Popert in 2016 and before we eventually 'found' my prostate cancer in 2023, I had several years of his unwavering thoroughness and care. This included two prostate biopsies (6 years apart), several MP MRI's and regular PSA testing. When eventually diagnosed, this had all meant we had caught it early which left all treatment options on the table. Eventually opting for Brachytherapy, my care under Mr Popert and his team has been first class. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I have been seeing Mr Hussain since Feb 2025. He is a very professional surgeon and took time to listen to my concerns and arrange necessary scan and investigations. I felt completely safe in his hands and in the manner in which he explained things. After my recent surgery some issues have arisen which was not something he had done but he has been available to speak with me to reassure me and support me wherever he can. I would certainly recommend him to family and friends.
