I recently visited John Flynn Opticians for my 2-yearly eye exam. Dr Janjua is always incredibly thorough in the eye exam, explaining each step and answering all my questions with patience. He takes the time to discuss my prescription in detail and also the variety of lens options available such as anti-fatigue, blue light reduction and anti-glare. I work in the computing industry and having the right eyewear makes the difference between a good day and one where you’re severely tired at the end of it. Dr Janjua’s expertise and attention to detail makes sure you’re confident it will be a good day. Dr Janjua is also supported by an amazing team. Everybody is welcoming and professional, making the entire process seamless and comfortable. I only needed new lenses this time which will be fixed to my existing frames, but when new frames have been required they’ve helped me choose the perfect frames that not only suit my style, but also feel comfortable. What really stands out is the personalised care and attention I received. Dr Janjua and the team genuinely care about your eye health and it shows. I highly recommend Dr Janjua and the team to anyone in need of eye care.

I recently underwent an ankle operation with Mr Pavier, and my experience throughout the entire process was fast, smooth, and reassuring. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and provided clear explanations at every stage. I couldn’t be more pleased with how efficiently my case was managed. I was treated as a day-case patient and recovered quickly. It has now been just over two months since my operation, and I was already walking comfortably well before that. The procedure was modern and minimally invasive, resulting in a small wound, a shorter healing time, and the ability to walk without crutches in less than a month. Although I am a patient at Lincoln Hospital, I was given the option to attend a nearby hospital in Nottingham to speed up the operation, which was extremely helpful. The facilities were clean and modern, and the staffs were very welcoming. Thanks to the excellent care I received, my ankle is healing very well, and I am excited to return to my normal daily activities and resume sports without discomfort.

My initial consultation was friendly and efficient but the X-ray was not available owing to a powercut that suddenly lost access to the computer! I was overwhelmed a few days later when I phoned to ask if I could do anything to chase up the X-ray, as I was more than eager to be offered a date for the operation, and your team went above and beyond the call of duty to reach Mr Weitzel on the phone despite his being on holiday and to call me back to offer me an operation of 5 August, the date that I was thrilled to accept. During my stay at Blackheath Hospital I was given exemplary care by every member of staff and my recovery has been steady despite my attempting to return to work perhaps rather earlier than was entirely wise. The difference is transformational, and I'm now bouncing around once again after a period when I was having difficulty even walking across a room. Thank you for making so much difference to my life!

The King Edward V11 hospital is the best of the best in London. The cleanliness, kindness, fabulously trained and knowledgeable professionals in each and every department are second to none. I’ve been visiting this hospital for more than 45 years, and always had a most positive experience. From the Porters and Reception team to their Consultants and Physiotherapists, they are impossible to fault. On my most recent visit, I visited the imaging department, and was scanned by the amazing Dr Clare Allen, and her team. She was the personification of professionalism, yet also one of the most empathetic Consultants I have ever come across. I can’t recommend her or her team, more highly.

I can’t speak highly enough of Dr Kaur. She has the kindest manor of any doctor I’ve seen. She listens to what you say and you’re never dismissed. You’re able to have honest conversations and you’re treated as an equal. She took so much time to explain my options and go through the surgery process in detail. She even phoned me on a Saturday when I had a question about my surgery. I felt so cared for before, during and after the surgery and I really feel like she has my best interests at heart. She clearly cares about the quality of her patients lives and did everything within her power to improve the quality of mine. I would recommend her wholeheartedly.

This was my 2nd visit to the Women’s Hormone Health Clinic at the One Hospital Ashford. I thought that at 67 I was too old to take HRT having been fobbed off 25yrs ago & so just battled on but I bravely made an appointment with Lexi Minter. My well being has changed in so many ways in only three months from starting an HRT course tailored for my age and concerns. My skin has improved so much & doesn’t feel it’s going to fall off. I have my energy back in spades & im advised my bones will also benefit. It goes to show it’s never too late to start HRT & I know I’m getting the best guidance.

This is now my second operation with Mr Goswami and as a very nervous patient- it was a relief knowing he was the surgeon. The aftercare is excellent with Mr Goswami and the nurses. The anesthetist and nurse who gave me my General Anesthetic were the best professionals at hand since they helped me get through the operation since I had a little melt down before the op. Exercises provided in technical terms only, hard for lay person to remember and understand. Zero follow up even though it was promised.

However, I received a subsequent email and letter from Check4Cancer that was for somebody else's results (there was no identifiable information to who the results pertained to).
