I recently visited John Flynn Opticians for my 2-yearly eye exam. Dr Janjua is always incredibly thorough in the eye exam, explaining each step and answering all my questions with patience. He takes the time to discuss my prescription in detail and also the variety of lens options available such as anti-fatigue, blue light reduction and anti-glare. I work in the computing industry and having the right eyewear makes the difference between a good day and one where you’re severely tired at the end of it. Dr Janjua’s expertise and attention to detail makes sure you’re confident it will be a good day. Dr Janjua is also supported by an amazing team. Everybody is welcoming and professional, making the entire process seamless and comfortable. I only needed new lenses this time which will be fixed to my existing frames, but when new frames have been required they’ve helped me choose the perfect frames that not only suit my style, but also feel comfortable. What really stands out is the personalised care and attention I received. Dr Janjua and the team genuinely care about your eye health and it shows. I highly recommend Dr Janjua and the team to anyone in need of eye care.

I recently attended YGC for a hysterectomy with my consultant Mr Clerk. What a phenomenal man he really is. He has given me the best possible out come i could ask for. Even though i was late going into surgery mr Clerk did everything he could to make sure i did not miss my slot. He was present when i returned from recovery at 8pm. Explained everything to me and made sure i was ok and comfortable. Not only was he there that late but the next day returned to the ward to check on me again late evening. He was also on annual leave. Every doctor should take as much pride in their patients as he does. He is a wonderful, kind man who has done nothing but go above and beyond. I am very lucky to have been appointed him as my consultant. Thank you Mr Nick Clerk for being the very best.

Truly Exceptional After experiencing pain from my new hospital contact lenses I was able to book an appointment with Drew far sooner than my Hospital would see me. Drew very quickly determined that ill-fitting lenses were causing Conjunctival Prolapse and advised how best to proceed. Essentially the lenses used by my Hospital were not appropriate for my eyes and, since the Hospital will not use alternative lenses, Drew was able to fit and supply better lenses. These new contact lenses give excellent vision and comfort, even though I have a particular eye condition which makes it very difficult to fit contacts, despite lenses being the only solution for me. Thank you Drew and Team!

My experience was very disappointing with the consultant. I was happy for my appointment to be changed just before attending due to the consultant running late. I was very disappointed with the lack of interest and time shown to be by the consultant. I got 10 minutes of his time to be told to cut out caffeine at the cost of £250. I was hoping to receive some understanding of what could be causing recurrent UTI's and reassuring me of any fears of anything sinister i.e bladder cancer. Only to be told this only occurs for around 10/20% of cases. I think what really irked me was he looked at his watch part way through me speaking This I found very disrespectful and rude.

I had micro-TESE surgery with Mr Alnajjar and the entire experience was exceptional. He successfully retrieved sperm for us, which has now given us the chance to move forward with IVF next year. What stood out most was how personal and reassuring his approach was. We had met him a few times before the procedure and he always made both me and my wife feel calm, confident, and fully informed. The follow-up care has been outstanding — nothing felt rushed, and every question was answered clearly. His PA and the communication throughout have also been first-class. A genuinely brilliant surgeon and a top professional. Highly recommended.

Dr Mallina treated my carpal tunnel syndrome which was given me severe pains at night and discomfort during the day. I felt that he was an expert in the field and Dr Mallina diagnosed the issue right away and treated it with surgery which was arranged in a very short time. The surgery resolved the problem instantly and I was given great post-surgery care. Dr Mallina guided me step by step offing a lot of care and attention and being accommodating. He communicated every step of the way while giving excellent care and guidance. I would highly recommend. I have a similar problem in my other hand and plan to use Dr Mallina again.

I have phone appointments and video call reviews with Dr Umoh and genuinely couldn’t speak more highly of him. I recently had some unexpected medical changes and he managed to accommodate me at very short notice, which made a huge difference. Even when I need something later than ideal, he always goes out of his way to make sure I’m fully supported and never left waiting. He takes my wider medical situation into account each time, which makes the whole process feel safe and well-managed. He’s consistently thoughtful, clear, and incredibly committed, and every call is handled professionally and efficiently.

Miriam is an absolute legend. I went to GP to check on my pelvic floor health after birth, unfortunately, they would not give you a full assessment about potential prolapse problems, they advised me to do pelvic floor exercises religiously right after few weeks of birth- which was the worse advice as it has caused tension around my pelvic floor area. then I went to Miriam, she provided me with 360 check up and told me the reason behind my issues and has given me clear advice on what to do next until our next appointment. If you are also experiencing the same, absolutely pay her a visit.

This was a follow up appointment after mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy and TUG flap reconstruction 7 weeks ago. I cannot thank Ms Elfadl enough for her care before and after surgery, as well as her professionalism, empathy and most of all her surgical skills. The results of the orperation are simply impressive and I am very happy with the way my breast looks. Only minor scarring and an esthetically pleasant result. I am very grateful that Ms Elfadl gave me this option of reconstruction.

Clayton Ward at Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea Hospital

I would very highly recommend the Clayton ward. We have had two babies there and were really well looked after by kind, happy staff (doctors, midwives, assistants, catering and reception) who taught us a huge amount about how to care for a newborn. Having access to 121 support from midwives anytime day or night is just invaluable. The food was very good (for hospital food) and we genuinely looked forward to it each day - it really helped us recover as sleep deprived parents.

My recent visit I had my regular checkup and cleaning done and when I came back in to have work done and honestly this place always out preforms makes you completely at ease and the constant advice on how to better maintain my teeth and it’s always done with a friendly atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Couldn't praise Mr Tang anymore. From the moment I met him, kind, knowledgeable, calm, and I felt at ease even though I ripped my bicep less than a day before meeting him and was in a serious amount of pain. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer, and the surgery was as painless as it could have been. He did say he has never seen a bicep recover so quickly, which I am very proud of; however, I think that was more him than me. Thank you again.

Was a little confused and concerned with all the last minute changes for surgery, then to be told and left waiting in a room for surgery to then say ur appointment was not the appointment time when u came in on our computer so they did change my appointment time! Other than that surgeon was fantastic brilliant and friendly After Care - as given a bag of meds and a latter and cards for the doctor with no sore dressings for wound area.

Mr Hughes was a great help, and although probably very busy was willing to spend time to explain everything I needed to know about my diagnosis and the follow up procedures necessary.
