When I first met Mr Rolton I burst out crying as another hospital had said there were no problems and I begged him to help me. From that moment on I gained huge confidence in his professionalism, explanations and surgical skills. To say he has transformed my life would not be an exaggeration. He has now completed two surgeries on me, one on my back and one on my neck which was the most recent..

I was in constant pain and using walking aids but was so lucky to be referred to MR Rolton . He diagnosed the spine problem immediately and lost no time in booking me in the Spire Dunedin for the necessary operation. Pain gone and back to usual activities. I joli glu called it a miracle but of course it was due to the competence of the surgeon . I would like also to commend his empathy and kindness when dealing with a patient, an important trait.

If you require excellent surgery then look no further that Mr Rolton. The complete experience was one one quiet professionalism, re-assuring conversation both for myself and my wife. This is how medical attention should be provided and the persons involved should be recognised with thanks.

Everything was as good as I could have hoped for throughout all my appointments and treatment by Mr Rolton ( and the Physiotherapy department too) Everything was patiently explained and questions were answered clearly and with careful attention which I found so helpful.

Fabulous Consultant - patient, kind, thorough and very thoughtful in his responses - cannot rate Dan high enough! His team thinks he is great too which is a credit to him - and the speed at which he fixed my sciatic/back/disc issue was incredible. I can now play tennis with my daughter and resume normal life again! Thank you :)
