I booked my appointment directly with Parkside Hospital, Wimbledon, so I didn't attend the London Heart Clinic nor any HCA premises, so my comments relate entirely to Parkside Hospital. 1 - Booking the appointment was a welcoming experience, Tanya was friendly, polite, courteous and easy to converse with. 2 - A follow up email was sent with the appointment details and patient information form which gave some scant details that would not in themselves form the basis of a contract imo. 3- On arrival for the appointment, I was asked to sign a form in 3 places. I was not given a copy of it nor given a chance to take it and read it in the waiting area, I was just asked to sign it, without it being read. 4 - on the basis that this document is in fact a contractual document setting out terms and conditions, which I didn't get to read, this is very poor practice, and could be challengeable. I also have no idea whether it made any reference to 'consent' within it. 5 - I was not handed a copy of the form before or after signing, and the form, with my signatures, has not been emailed to me subsequently, and it is now 2 days after the appointment. 6 - I arrived early for my appointment in the hope that I might be seen earlier than planned, but in the event, I was actually taken in for my appointment 25 minutes after my appointment time, but on the other hand, I had some 50 minutes, so I might have delayed someone else or made Dr Hinton late on leaving. Having said that, he didn't rush me at all, and I am very grateful for this. 7 - Dr Hinton himself was a pleasure to consult with. He made me feel at ease, and he enabled me to feel validated, and heard. He was kind and supportive and I felt I had found someone I could trust. Trust is a super important factor to me, as I've had so many bad experiences in the past. 8 - Dr Hinton grasped matters quickly and set out a case management plan, and dictated his letter to my GP in my presence, for which I am grateful. The only issue I have with that is, that I would rather the NHS GP is not involved, as I have no faith in NHS medical services right now, and I would wish to refer the letter to my health insurers, but am not sure how this will be done, and particularly so, if I am reluctant to speak with my NHS GP? I'm hoping that I will also be furnished with a letter that I can produce to my health insurers, so as to get authorisation for a scan plus it's super important that the letter has been sent to the right GP practice, and I hope it has. I did amend this quickly on the form. This has left a bit of a grey area for me, and I don't know if it was mentioned on the form that I was asked to sign without being able to read through it or be furnished with a copy so I could read it whilst waiting and ask for any amendments? 9 - Parkside is easy to access but it's looking a bit shabby in the outpatients area from my perspective, and the staff look a bit unkempt. My aunt was awarded an MBE for her services to nursing nearly 40 years ago, sadly, she is no longer with us, but she was a stickler for her staff having pristine uniforms, admittedly in the days when nurses wore hats and cuffs, proper uniforms, and butterfly belts, but she was always immaculately turned out and took a pride in her appearance, as well as her work. I often think that today, it begs a question about infection control, or moreover, the lack of it. 10 - it would have been nice to have someone volunteering to work the drinks machine. Older people are afraid to ask but are often dehydrated when waiting, and as we age, technology becomes quite challenging, even a drinks machine!

There was a lot of confusion in regards to my follow up appointment post surgery. An appointment was booked and agreed for Monday morning, another appointment was booked for the afternoon in addition to the morning appointment, which I tried to rearrange for the following day and recieved confirmation, that appointment I found out later had not been booked and one was made for the following week, and I had called to confirm the appointment for Monday morning too. I found out later that the Monday morning appointment was cancelled but I was not told this until I arrived for the appointment early. Gill at reception was extremely helpful and was immediately on the case to help me as this was a wound check appointment. She spoke to Nikki and Bev and I was able to be seen very quickly. I appreciated all the help I was given by Gill and she helped me create my next appointment for 6 weeks time and navigate the situation well. The appointment itself was informative and very good. I believe there was a mix up with the lists for the day and it seemed to be that everyone just got confused with what appointments for me were needed to be rearranged/ cancelled. Everything was resolved quickly and calmly, and I thank everyone for their help in resolving this.

I had my upper Bleph done with Dr Huw last week and I can’t even explain how much better the experience was than I had imagined. I was expecting it to be a lot more traumatic procedure wise, and to have really bad bruising etc judging from the other peoples I’d seen online! From start to finish Huw was so professional but just very down to earth and honest. I got really good vibes from the very first consultation, I always go on my gut feeling and knew he was the person I wanted to do my surgery. I like that he prefers to do a more natural enhancement than completely change your look! I didnt feel any pain throughout the surgery and felt very comfortable from start to finish, my results I am so so happy with! I didn’t bruise or look how I imagined, I know it’s down to skin type /the individual etc but I’m sure the majority of it is down to the surgeon which shows how good Dr Hew is at his job. I can’t recommend him enough and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to have this treatment done. I feel so much more confident too. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I can’t recommend Debra highly enough as a physio. I had physio for my middle child 5 years ago with Debra and again with my now 10 month old baby. Debra is calm, patient, and so knowledgeable, which instantly put both me and my baby at ease. She has a wonderful way of engaging with babies, turning each session into something that feels more like play than therapy, while still being incredibly effective. She always takes the time to explain what she’s doing and how we can support our baby’s progress at home, which has been so reassuring as a parent. We’ve always seen such positive progress under her care, and I’m so grateful to have had her support. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Debra to any parent looking for a skilled, compassionate, and trustworthy paediatric physio.

I had an outstanding experience at London Gynae on Harley Street. From the moment I arrived, the team was warm, professional, and incredibly reassuring. The clinic is spotless, beautifully organised, and has a calm atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. My consultation was thorough and unrushed. Everything was explained clearly and compassionately, and I genuinely felt listened to. The level of expertise is exceptional, but what impressed me most was the kindness and care shown throughout the entire visit. I have not had a very positive experience at all and feel that the diagnosis is not accurate and the reasons given and report are not satisfactory - despite the report saying what i said word for word the analysis is simply not effective and does not align with my symptoms - there was no point having a consultation of the doctor only went off the forms and did not correlate information - also there was no understanding of why i thought i was adhd - i have done extensive research in this field and it would have been better to have an adhd checklist than the autism on

Mr walls was down to earth, approachable, and actually quite good fun as well as being professianal, claire was just lovely, funny and caring too! I'm not planning on having anymore lumps removed anytime soon... but if I do, I will ask for Mr Walls! The receptionist was a bit of a sassy diva (I didn't catch his name, but I did catch all the eye rolls) he could do better... although it did not spoil my experience, so a fabulous 10 out of 10! For Mr walls and Claire... as for the receptionist, well. meh... I've been treated better at Edith Cavell, just saying.

Kiera was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel very much at ease throughout my appointment. I was diagnosed with a Retina tear in my ear and she made me feel very much at ease and safe. She talked throughout, keeping me informed of everything that was happening, giving reassurance that everything will be ok and that should I need further information or just needed to chat at about it, I was to ring her and speak to her about it. Help and advice that was offered was exceptional!

Mr Nimesh Patel

Mr Patel had the results of my recent x-ray and MRI. He showed me them on-screen and interpreted them. He advised me of things I should do to maintain mobility but did not think the arthritis, though painful, was of sufficient severity to merit any surgical or medical interventions. His manner was entirely professional and helpful. He made clear I could come back within 6 months if things deteriorated. I could contact reception. I left on time and very satisfied with the prognosis and advice.
