Mr Malek approach to patients is really good. He explains everything so well and really cares. I had an hip replacement October 2025 and the way it was all planned was really good and made it so much easier for me . All the pre opp procedure was organised on the day of my hip replacement date . My procedure again was really good so informative with what to expect and all went just as I told it would .Tjis really puts your mind at ease . Cannot believe how small the cut was given I had a new hip which helped it heal in no time and I was up and walking within a week and five weeks later played golf again just fantastic. The whole experience from my first consultation with Mr Malek to now has been first class . Would certainly recommend him to anyone who is worried about picking the right person . This was my first visit to this lovely private GP practice. Lots of parking and ground floor facility was the first tick. Lovely big bright windows another tick creating brightness in what is usually not available in most other medical establishments. No sooner on the door I was greeted with smiles and courtesy from the lovely, friendly receptionists who welcomed me and offered me refreshments. Plenty of books and magazines if I wanted but didn't need them as I was taken at my exact appointment time, another big tick. My GP, Dr Fiona Moore came out to greet me and as I'd completed an online form with my reason for attending she was on the ball with what was required. She was so relaxed and friendly I felt like I'd known her for a long time and I felt at ease answering any questions. Having examined me she knew what the issue was and reassured me. Overall a brilliant experience.

I had a recent admission for a Discectomy under the care of Mr Manoj-Thomas. The entire experience from initial appointment to the actual surgery was just over 6 weeks. During this time I received regular communication to prepare me for my surgery. I was overwhelmed by the high standard of care I received as an in patient from the nursing and medical team. All professionals were courteous calm and maintained my dignity and trust during an anxious time and I am incredibly grateful. My follow up care is continuing and I was very impressed with the phone call I received 2 days post discharge to ensure I was continuing to recover. St Joseph’s epitomises the experience all patients should receive irrespective of whether they are private or NHS patients. Thank you so much.

I was overwhelmed by surprise that Dr Kelly was able to clear up my ear infections , which I had in both ears for 22monthsin one visit!. Considering I had nine previous visits with another consultant at Kingsbridge hospital outpatients without success after the 9visits the consultant referred me to Dr Andrew Kelly.After 22months I was in the depth of despair as my hearing was deeply affected by the infections and my audiologist struggled to try and improve my hearing by adjusting the aid , my left ear by the way I gave up wearing at the start of my infections as I have a 90% hearing loss in that ear, so I completely dependent on the hearing aid in the right ear. I am completely indebted to Dr Kelly for helping me get over these infections , which blighted my life.

Very pleasing experience. I was given plenty of time, and had a thorough examination of my ears, with the removal of wax, followed by a full hearing test. I returned a couple of weeks later, and having been shown several different hearing aids, went for ones that fit into the ear, with no wires or pieces behind the ear. I now have them on a months trial to see how I get on with them. I was quoted a price, which I understand I will pay if these are the correct ones for me, but only when I am totally satisfied. There is then a 3 monthly check included in the price. I believe I can try others if these are not right for me, and Mr Clive who I saw, was most helpful and understanding of a lady who hated the idea of wearing hearing aids!

My recent visit was positive as always, everyone is always warm and welcoming from the moment you step into the door. The office is clean and inviting and always decorated according to the season’s festive calendar, which always a nice touch. I admired the snowflakes decal on the windows giving it a cosy festive feel and fairy lights as I was getting my treatment! I have been seeing Lil for years now and she is absolutely amazing, I feel like a different person when I walk out the practice, in the best way possible. Also, if something else is bothering me she always makes time to take a look and do the necessary adjustments or advise on what exercises to do, or see a GP!

When I went in for the viscual assessment she came and introduced herself again. Which was nice she did but never had too. The team on the OCD ward incredibly kind caring and compassionate. It's like being part of a family, including the other 5 patients here. Although, it was challenging at times, I've learnt so much about my condition and I now realise that my beliefs does not necessarily mean it's true. If you're suffering with OCD and feel like you're alone or you have nowhere else to turn to, I highly recommend the Nightingale's 28 day inpatient stay.
