Dr. Runa Ali is the best doctor I have ever had. From our very first meeting to my ongoing care, her diagnostic skill and empathy have been truly unmatched. I had been unwell for many years and had seen countless doctors, desperately trying to uncover the root cause of my illness — without success. I’d undergone cancer surgery, multiple treatments, and endless consultations, yet my primary issues remained unresolved. No one knew why. Then I was fortunate enough to meet Dr. Runa Ali. She approached my case like a detective — carefully piecing together my complex medical history to uncover the underlying cause. What more than fifty doctors couldn’t figure out, she identified in a single appointment. Her suspicions were confirmed through tests, and she immediately arranged my treatment and ongoing care. Since then, my breathing and overall health have stabilised, and I’ve been steadily regaining my strength. From the very first appointment, she stood out — compassionate, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. For the first time, I didn’t feel rushed or dismissed. She listened intently, with genuine interest and understanding, determined to see if she could truly help. When she asked, “How have you been coping with all this?”, I felt genuinely seen for the first time in years. You can’t put a price on that. I have had a great experience and time at Delamere, my therapist and mentor have both been fantastic, as well as majority of the other staff, and I have connect with a lot of staff and made life long friends with other patients. This was definitely the place for me, and would not have considered anywhere else. My only real criticism is on the owner Martin, I think his general attitude towards his patients/customers is not acceptable, he is quite rude and unapproachable, and does not fit the character or leader he is made up to me. The second thing I would like to make not of is general communication between staff, and follow up, is not the best but I suppose this can be improved. Finally, I think the management of a conflict situation and resolution is not the best. Management should listen to all parties stories and not judge based on what the patient is in Delamere for. Other than that a fantastic experience all around, which has definitely fixed me and put me back on track. So for that thank you for the life changing experience.

I have just turned 70 and first saw Miriam just over a year ago, when I had limited mobility following an operation on my spine. She went through a rigorous review with me involving scans and carried out an assessment my ability to move joints and assess the strength of my muscles. She then gave me a daily exercise plan based on Pilates moves and advised me on additional activities, including swimming and walking. There then followed a number of reviews appointments to assess improvements. 10 months ago I joined Miriam’s Pilates classes, attending once a week, whilst continuing following her advice on ongoing daily activity. I am now in a much better place, I can walk distances again and have no more back and leg pain. I have recently had another 1-1 session with Miriam, as I am ready to step up my exercise regime and build my muscle strength, hopefully to support me in the months/years to come.

Review for Dr. Hill and Kingsbridge North West Hospital I had a fantastic experience at Kingsbridge North West Hospital. Dr. Hill is a phenomenal surgeon — incredibly skilled, friendly, and easy to deal with. He immediately puts you at ease and makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. It’s clear that he’s not only respected by his patients but also by the staff; all the nurses spoke so highly of him, both personally and professionally. They even mentioned that they can always recognize his surgical work by the exceptional standard and care he provides. All of the staff were excellent. Sku checked me in — he was very friendly, professional, and efficient. The whole process ran smoothly, and I was in and out of the clinic within an hour. I highly recommend paying the bit extra to use Kingsbridge — it’s worth every penny for the level of care, professionalism, and peace of mind you receive.

I recently saw Dr Craig Rosenbloom regarding ongoing pain in my elbow, which was diagnosed as tennis elbow, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the care and attention I received. From the moment the consultation began, Dr Rosenbloom took the time to listen carefully to my symptoms, explain the possible causes, and walk me through the treatment options in a way that was both clear and reassuring. He demonstrated an exceptional level of expertise and professionalism, yet was very approachable and patient throughout the appointment. What stood out most was how thorough he was — ensuring I understood not only the diagnosis but also the practical steps I could take to aid my recovery. His advice was detailed and easy to follow, and I left feeling confident and well looked after.

I came to review my HRT witha 'menopause expert' and that is not what I experienced. Although the doctor was a nice person, he seemed very inexperienced with the menopause, and actually disagreed with the fact I had been taken off testosterone by one of your doctors. He had never heard of androfeme, and actaully asked me what I thought should happen. I pay a lot of money to come to your clinic, and I expect to see a doctor that is very knowledgeable in this area when I am paying privately. I am very disappointed, and don't have much faith in the advice I was given. I did not see any of the doctors onthe following page, it was Stephen Banham.

Mr Mohammadi has a compassionate approach I received excellent care and respect which continued throughout my journey whilst being treated. I appreciate the specialized equipment and expertise (and hence cost) required to perform a visual field test, but I continue to be irritated by the charge (currently £51) for a visual acuity check. Although at Moorfields this is now performed via a computer screen, in essence it is the same as sitting in front of a simple eye chart ... something which is so basic that in an optometrist's setting it attracts no charge at all.
