I had laparoscopy surgery in July 2025 to remove endometriosis and to investigate other pain I had been experiencing. Over the years (through multiple surgeries and over 10 years in the healthcare system) I have often felt ignored and dismissed. However, my experience with Mr Gan was completely different, it was the smoothest process I’ve ever had, and I truly felt supported and listened to at every stage. Mr Gan went above and beyond to ease my symptoms, even extending the surgery at no extra cost in an effort to improve my daily symptoms. He was kind, compassionate, and exceptionally skilled in his role. For context, since my operation in July, my chronic back pain has reduced to almost zero… a huge change for me. Although surgery can be a daunting experience as a young woman, I felt reassured and at ease with Mr Gan. He took time to explain everything clearly and always made sure my concerns were heard. Since the operation, I haven’t simply been discharged… instead, I’ve had regular check-ins to ensure my recovery is on track and that the next steps are clear.

Last year I had the cataract in my right eye removed in Moorfields Private Eye Clinic. The consultant, Mr Vincenzo Maurino, was calm, professional and very kind. He immediately put me at ease. I felt strongly I could place complete trust in his care. Everything was explained clearly, and the whole process was handled with such skill and reassurance. A few months ago, when my optician told me that I needed the cataract removed in my left eye, I didn’t have any hesitation and booked an appointment with Mr Maurino at Moorfields. Once again, the care and professionalism were outstanding. Everyone on the staff was so good and helpful. The nurses were very kind, efficient and thoughtful. They even offered tea and biscuits afterwards (perhaps the best biscuits I’ve ever had)! Very soon after the surgery, my vision has improved so much that the world has become clearer. I am very grateful for the wonderful treatment I received.

Following a scan Mr Moxey was quick to diagnose my problem (Peripheral Artery Disease in my aorta and leg arteries) and to identify where the blockages were and the degree of severity. He clearly explained the options for treating it and the risks of each approach. Together we decided that surgery would be the best option. At the time I was only able to walk 20 metres without having to rest, despite the fact I am normally very active. The results of the keyhole surgery were way better than I expected. I can walk for an hour or more without any difficulty, I can play fast, hard games of Padel and I can do my full gym workouts with multiple leg exercises. The operation was far from routine. It lasted 6 hours, during which time several techniques had to be tried to clear the blockages. I am absolutely delighted with the results.

I had a really positive and pleasant experience with the radiographers. There were two of them and they were both very friendly, helpful, patient, careful, knowledgeable and extremely professional. I was very happy with their care. What I was not happy about was the service from the MRI/Scan receptionists, this is the second time I’ve done a scan and each time the receptionists were not friendly, they we’re extremely direct showing no empathy and welcoming presence. They seemed busy with the conversation they were having with each other so I have found on both occasions their service has been very poor. The first time I assumed it was a one off but after experiencing it for the second time I feel it’s necessary to provide the feedback so something can be done about it.

Claire Sewter's speedy visit and diagnosis was reassuring and clearly highly professional. She was highly knowledgeable and provided really practical advice and support. I have followed the recommended programme carefully and left feedback or email responses that Claire has followed up regularly. The stretches and exercises that were given, have helped me to improve and recover my physical condition, quickly, and after 4 weeks I am feeling a lot stronger, and better overall. As this was the 3rd time I have approached Let's Go Physio for help - with different injuries - I can recommend them unreservedly - and have done so already with a few people.

Paul Jolly and his team at the Ruislip Hearing Centre (ruislipearcare.co.uk) provide an excellent service. They are kind, considerate, respectful and very professional. I had used the Hearing Centre at varying times for earwax microsuction, but then decided to have them supply and fit my new Hearing Aids. I have been very impressed with the Danish brand 'Resend' and the phone app is a dream to use. Aftercare is also important and six monthly appointments for check ups and updates, when required, is a big bonus. It pays to go local. Highly recommended. N.B.

Thursday afternoon visit, the surgery did not adjust to be that busy, arrived before my appointment time but still had to wait till after my scheduled time before being seen. Cat was blocked in when I be wanted to leave and I requested for the owner to move their vehicle as I had other engagements scheduled. No sense of urgency amongst the staff it appreciation that my time is as valuable as theirs. Managed to manoeuvre my car out whilst waiting so impact was not as bad as if I had waited for the other to move their vehicle but it was irritating.

Dr Farrah's team were amazing from start to finish with helping me to schedule my appointments and with helping me with my insurance company queries. Dr Farrah is wonderful, she listened to me and all the issues and pain I was having due to my osteoarthritis in my hip, made me feel like I wasn't being silly and over reacting with the pain I was in. I attended the Centre to have a procedure to remove a cataract. The staff were so friendly and efficient,I was immediately put at ease. The procedure was carried out and I was taken to the recovery room to have a cup of tea ,followed by an explanation of use of eye drops. The receptionist also contacted my nephew who was coming to collect me. I had a follow-up call the next day. Thank you to everyone who looked after me.
