I noticed one morning an egg shaped lump in my groin area after a hard indoor climbing session and knew immediately I'd torn something and suspected a hernia. A quick Google search of local Hernia surgeons came up with one name in particular, Mr Michael Stellakis, I paid privately for a consultation and the resulting examination involving extremely thorough online tutorials of what is and what contributes to a Hernia left me with no doubt I'd made the correct decision in seeking Mr Stellakis's opinion and my options going forward. Several weeks later I underwent a Bilateral laproscoic Hernia repair. From the initial consultation through to the surgery and the aftercare, every step was dealt with, with complete and utter professionalism that I'd heard about from the Warwickshire Bowel and Hernia Centre. I walked out of the Hospital later the same day as the surgery, 3-4 weeks later I'm back climbing as good as, if not stronger than before the Injury, Simply incredible experience from start to finish. I formed a strong relationship with Jade very quickly, which has continued to grow over time, to the point that I trust her implicitly and feel able to tell her anything and everything. I feel incredibly heard in our sessions, and she provides the perfect balance of listening to me, and using questions to help me develop further understanding of issues on my own. Although our sessions cover dark and difficult topics, she helps me to see light within them and we are able to laugh and have fun as part of the process. Jade is brilliant at making links between the things I talk about currently, and things I’d told her months ago. This helps things make more sense, and also frequently highlights my progress. She never makes me feel like a problem is too big, or too small. Jade frequently sends me very useful resources that help me to continue the work we do together between sessions. I can see clearly that I am a far better version of myself since starting sessions with Jade.

The staff were lovely, so kind and understanding which has been thoroughly appreciated. However, some frustration noted around wait times. While it is appreciated that diagnostics are a lengthy process and take time, I found issues where my assessments were delayed due to Skylight not having all the information from the forms I had already completed, and after submitting my forms I was not told that all of the information had not been received until I reached out and chased my application due to the time frames I was given being overdue. To improve this experience, more communication on what has and hasn’t been received would improve the experience and shorten some people’s wait times, as my wait time was partially increased due to lack of communication over forms I had or hadn’t filled in.

I had an operation at this hospital few day ago on the 6th of November by the amazing consultant Mr Jag Chana! To whom I am forever grateful in how kind, caring and professional he is and the most wonderful job he’s done with my operation! As for his team of anaesthetist, his lovely nurse Kate Zimmerman and all the nurses and other stuff on the ward ( apologies that I don’t know all your names) that looked after me before and after my operation I send my sincere thanks and gratitude! Every single one of you was beyond words professional, kind, caring, friendly and respectful! I am short of words in how to thank you for all the care and kindness you showed me during my stay! The hospital is so very fortunate to have you all as their members of staff! 🌟❤️

Had Cataracts removed in July and then September the staff and Dr Jothi was excellent and couldn’t wish for any better care, follow up phone calls on the day after to check if all was ok such a great procedure on both occasions and no pain at all as everything was explained. The eye sight is now great with all the colours all being clear and now I just need reading glasses to see stuff up close ,have worn glasses for the past 60 years and find it funny not having to were glasses permanently. I would thourghly recommend KingsBridge and their staff as all was very kind and looked after your needs on every visit, One thing no pain .

Moorfields Private Eye Hospital

No problems with the medical teatment. Not sure why I was sent an invoice for medications some days after the treatment. It would have been much easier to pay in the hospital on the day. The invoice doesn't say if you can pay by card by phone or on line. This is a basic service these days. The menu offered for kosher food was limited and most of the items marked as being available weren't. If you're going to offer this service then you need to make sure you have available what you are offering - this is the private wing and one is paying for additional levels of service - not provided here.

Very useful. As I was anxious ,having driven from Worthing I did forget to ask Mr Anderberg about alternative medicines to relieve pain. I am taking curcumen, CBD, and have ordered chilli pepper cream . In the hope these products will help relieve pain. Also I missed completing the registration form sent with your initial letter . I am not IT ‘savie” and struggle with my I Phone and I Pad on occasions when I do not understand instructions . I have ,however on 3rd attempt, managed to print the encrypted letter you sent me today . Thank you, E.A.

I had the privilege of being treated by Prof. Allam, who quickly and accurately diagnosed me with Superior Canal Dehiscence Syndrome, a rare condition. I chose to undergo surgical repair, and from start to finish, Prof. Allam was exceptional. He explained the risks clearly, answered every question with patience, and made time to reassure me and check on my progress. Mr Nargol has replaced both my knees and my left hip in the last 5 years. He is truly amazing and I can't thank him enough for giving me my life back. I have gone from being in severe pain and unable to walk even a short distsnce to being able to spend whole days on my feet again. I had an injury last year on my left calf alongside recurring main in my right foot so wanted to get them checked. Dr Lord effectively assessed my calf, showed a very small tear, and then looked at my feet and told me there’s minor thickening in one of the tendons, which wouldn’t require any intervention but recommended physio for both including some effective stretching. Now I’ve got my report I can give to my physio and monitor it more effectively ACTUALLY knowing what’s wrong.

Dr Patel is always very thorough, listens carefully to my concerns and treats everything holistically. He performed a sinus/throat exam and was very reassuring as I'm always anxious with medical procedures. He showed me the video of the exam afterwards which I found really helpful, it's nice to get to really see what's going on and not just have to take someone's word for it. Would definitely recommend Dr Patel to others with ENT concerns.

Overall my first appointment at Spire Lea hospital was a satisfactory experience. At the reception I was quickly registered as an insurance patient. The waiting time was not very long. The duration of the appointment was long enough to cover all my questions, explain my problem and get a gynaecology examination by the doctor with help of a female assistant. The doctor explained to me a treatment to follow to alleviate my symptoms.

Extremely efficient, hospital was clean and the food was of excellent quality. I was seen by the operating team almost immediately after my admission and was given clear instructions by them as the how the day would pan out. Care was great, nothing felt too much for the team. The nurses were kind and patient, not rushing around and stressed out which always makes nhs settings feel so chaotic.
