From start to finish, my experience with Dr. Dinkar Bakshi and his team has been outstanding. His office manager, Rahul, has been incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly. He made the entire process seamless — from explaining pricing and arranging appointments, to ensuring I was seeing the right specialist for my symptoms. His communication was clear, consistent, and reassuring, which really set the tone for a positive experience. As for Dr. Bakshi, he is genuinely one of the best consultants I have ever met. Before my appointment, he had carefully reviewed my summary and test results, and during our consultation he spent almost an hour explaining everything in detail. He talked me through what Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) is, how it relates to my symptoms, and what testing was necessary — all in a way that made complete sense. He also made sure I wasn’t repeating unnecessary tests and created a clear, evidence-based treatment plan. For the first time, I felt truly heard, understood, and validated. He immediately sent a letter to my GP with a detailed treatment plan so that I could begin my medication right away. The level of care and attention he provides is outstanding — he genuinely listens and takes time to explain every step. When my results came back, Dr. Bakshi personally called to discuss them with me and explain what the next steps would be, as well as future options if needed. This level of follow-through and compassion is rare to find. Even though I’ve now received a diagnosis for MCAS, I feel relieved and reassured knowing I’m under such excellent care. Dr. Bakshi has an exceptional bedside manner, and Rahul provides wonderful support behind the scenes — together they make an amazing team. I would highly, highly recommend Dr. Bakshi to anyone who has been struggling to find answers. He is truly one in a million.

This was my 2nd visit to Ashford Spencer hospital.. the 1st visit was conducted with real professionalism...the information I recieved and help was really, really good.. I was treated like a real patient with what I consider real life problems dine to my lower back pain.. I was booked in for spinal injections and was happy.. a few months later I had the spinal.injections and was given these in Canterbury by the same team that saw me in ashford.. after a few days I realised that something wasn't rite in the area of these injections.. I immediately contacted the doctors who then contacted the consultant.. he rang me that evening and booked me in for an mri.. waited 4 weeks for the urgent?? Mri.. then waited months for a face to face meeting with my consultant.. only to be told that basically he can't do any thing for me.. and that he was farming me out to another department.. I'm left in all worlds of pain and discomfort, which is considerably more painful than before the injections.. so I feel that my wnd visit to Ashford Spencer hospital was border line unprofessional, uncaring, unsupportive and just feel like they have left me in a place with no support or treatment.. how can you give me these spinal injections and not take accountability for leaving me in a worser condition than when I 1st visited.. i feel numb.. I feel sad.. I feel pain.. i feel the service i recieved, to be extremely poor.. shame on you for treating patients in this Manor.. shame on you for leaving me worse than I was before.. shame.. to sit there and say there is nothing you can do for me is in my book an absolute disgrace.. you should hang your head in shame..

Throughout my pregnancy, she was thorough, approachable, and always took the time to listen and explain everything clearly. She was readily available and responded promptly to any questions I had, which provided great reassurance. She was extremely diligent with the medical care she provided, ensuring every aspect was carefully managed. I particularly appreciated how she provided clear, detailed information I could follow and made sure there were never any loose ends. Five weeks ago, she delivered my baby via C-section, and the experience was outstanding. The procedure went smoothly, and I felt supported and safe at every step — both medically and emotionally. My recovery has been excellent, which I credit in large part to her skill, attentiveness, and continuity of care. As both a doctor and a patient, I would thoroughly and wholeheartedly recommend Dr. S Chawla. She truly embodies the best of our profession — combining expertise, empathy, diligence, and genuine compassion. I have no hesitation in saying that I would want my second child delivered by her as well.

Erin is by far the best physio I have ever worked with. I started seeing her in early Feb 2025, with no clear idea of what was wrong - only a general feeling of being ‘uneven’. By November 2025, I’m no longer in any pain or discomfort, and I now have a significantly better understanding of my body and how to look after myself for years to come. Earlier this year, I was referred to Erin by another member of her clinic, who told me she was one of the best physios around - little did I know just how true that would turn out to be. From the start, Erin spent hours with me, taking the time to understand how I was feeling and how my body was moving. She carried out countless tests on different muscles, and together we identified the root of the issue within just a few sessions. Over the past eight months, we’ve worked together on strengthening my muscles through a mix of gym-based and mobility exercises, building strength to support my shoulders and back. She has patiently listened to me week after week as I’ve asked new questions, always going above and beyond to adapt my programme to suit my current targets. I can confidently say I’ve never been in such great health, and as I approach the end of my treatment, I feel reassured knowing exactly how to take care of myself going forward – all thanks to Erin.

Dr Sohi is definitely the most excellent doctor I have ever seen! We saw her recently with regards to my son’s medical condition. I was utterly amazed at her wealth of knowledge on this complex topic. Dr Sohi left no stone unturned in terms of looking at every possible cause and has such a wonderful and engaging manner with both parents and children. She spent a lot of time talking through my son’s past medical history and all the tests she was doing. We asked her many, many questions and she so patiently listened and provided very thorough explanations on everything that was raised. Her empathy and care for her patients wellbeing is exemplary. This level of attentiveness and care definitely sets her aside.!! Her knowledge of paediatrics is also so, so impressive. It is clear to see that Dr Sohi is in the top of her field in this aspect. Arriving at the Lyndhurst Rooms for a Blood test and a CT scan in the hospital. Reception were polite quick and efficient. The Phlebotomist was professional and conducted the tests well. Absolutely fine. However, the CT scan is conducted by the hospital radiology department. Waiting times were extended at the radiology reception(NHS) and in the department(NHS) before the scan. The staff were as expected very good and professional, no issue there, but the waiting time over and above the booked time was between 45minutes to one hour overdue. I have had similar scans in different facities previousy and this does not compare with the London Clinic which is fully private and the same private insurance payer is paying for a private service. the RFH Private Patients could do a lot better.

We spent 2 nights on the Clayton Ward after I had an unplanned c section. As first time parents without close family nearby, the Clayton ward offered us the guidance, support and care we needed as a new family but also to allow me to get the appropriate medical care as part of post surgery recovery.
