I am now three months post-surgery and have returned to all normal day-to-day activities, as well as many sporting pursuits, including walking, swimming, and cycling—completely pain-free and with ease. I would have no hesitation in seeking Mr Sturridge’s advice again in the future should it be required, and I would highly recommend him to anyone suffering from hip pain. While no surgery is ever welcomed or entirely risk-free, the skill, care, and attention provided by Mr Sturridge were, I am in no doubt, a major contributing factor to my successful recovery.

Mr Mettias and his assistant were very polite,, professional and listened to everything I had to say. After taking notes of my symptoms and then asking about my diet and personal habits , smoking and drinking etc, he then proceeded to examine me.. After examination he was happy that there were no signs of any health issues and I should not be concerned. I was then advised what I can do to alleviate the symptoms that occur. The visit today was a pleasant one and both Mr Mettias and his assistant couldn't have been more helpful. 10/10 service, thank you.

I had trouble releasing urine, as well as blood being present in the urine. Blood would still come out after urination. A stricture in my urethra was the reason for my discomfort. Mr Varun Sahdev was able to determine that and propose various procedure options. After the operation, all my discomfort gradually disappeared, with a very significant change right after the operation.

Was left waiting to go home after op - communication breakdown between day staff & evening staff and no follow up appoint for stitch/wound check - had to change dressings myself and contact BUPA for arranging appoint weeks later. Overall staff were lovely but possible lacking in cover/number of staff availability.
