The Spire Wellesley is a quiet calm hospital. The facilities are always clean and well cared for, the staff attentive and pleasant. You can expect the path of your time with them to be fully and clearly explained and information of who will attend you, when and for what reason. You are prepared as soon as you arrive and surgery follows swiftly, which leaves you very little time to overthink or get anxious. I was never left worried, every member of staff introduced themselves and did whatever was necessary to reassure me and provide whatever was needed. It was all very quick and over before I knew it, for which I am grateful. You certainly will not be left hungry or thirsty, food is excellent, the selection is wide. My stay was relatively short, my surgery went well, my recovery and activity level after surgery good and whilst I could have stayed a 2nd night I was allowed to go home as there were no concerns. So I was on for a little over 24hrs altogether.

I came away from our consultation call comforted that Mr Stables and his team will be there to take care of me should I need to investigate the treatment options discussed. my experience with Ms Singh was faultless and i was made to feel very comfortable and had everything explaned very clearly to me . my overall experience was hampered by parking facilities on site, no real indication of location on site when we arrived so having not been there before i was a bit confused as to where i should be. Also requested to have an ultrasound at York facility as that was most local to me yet received a call from the Nottingham hospital to arrange an appointment which is over an 1.5hrs travel each way- still waiting to hear from York

Steven is an excellent and empathetic therapist. After having several bad experiences with other therapists I met Steven and immediately felt at ease. Steven listens and is non judgemental. When I first started working with him earlier in the year following a traumatic car crash, I thought I would never drive again. Using EMDR therapy, it has taken hard work but I am now back to driving for which I will forever be grateful. Recently had vein procedure was disappointed that not all veins were treated .I'd explained i was having procedure because of upcoming flight to australia .I returned for check up to be told I had fleabiteus on area that had been treated. I've decided to postpone more treatment until I get back from australia as I am worried of any more problems before flying. I'm disappointed that what I thought was going to be a straight forward procedure has not been .I wish I hadn't gone ahead with the procedure. Very disappointed

This is an excellent hospital that I feel fortunate to be able to attend. The overall environment is comfortable, pleasant and relaxing. All staff encountered including Reception, Nursing and Pharmacy are very professional, polite, efficient and considerate. The lady I encountered on Reception on my recent visit went out of her way to make pleasant conversation, despite being busy. My son who usually accompanies me normally finds disabled parking which he requires.
