Having had a recent house move (36th in 45 years of marriage) and joining Health Centre as a new patient I was obliged to redo tests including a blood pressure reading to ensure current medications kept being prescribed uninterrupted. Took my BP reading myself in surgery to save time of having to submit it over several days - horrified when it alarmed the receptionist enough to show a doctor who was in the middle of seeing another patient. Was coasting along in happy belief everything more than fine from previous tests a couple of years ago. I then carefully researched Dr Neil Chapman and found out not only that my blood pressure had increased since I last had a 24 hour holter but ditto my BMI and increasing age doesn't help. Dr Neil Chapman gave me good advice and increased my BP medication which had stayed the same since 2012. I felt confident in his expert knowledge, he is easy to talk to and I would be very happy to see him again in the future if necessary.

I was recommend by a local GP where I work to use Enhanced care, reason being is that for over two weeks I could not get into my own Totton GP surgery, calling and being way down the queuing order, I even went in to book an appointment and they said I have to call first thing, both local Pharmacies could do no more other than OTC meds and said you have to see your GP, I very quickly lost faith in my own doctor surgery. Thanks to Enhanced care from the initial online email to phone call, seeing the doctor all on the same day was well worth it, not only did the doctor ask about my current symptoms but also about my general heath and past issues ETC, medication same day and was feeling better within 4 days, highly recommend If your own GP surgery cant help sooner. Staff at both the receptions were welcoming , No waiting time . Saw the specialist regarding ongoing issues with my knees and toes, and the he was extremely helpful and informative. He took the time to clearly explain what was happening, walking me through the MRI images in a way that was easy to understand. All available options were discussed thoroughly, including injections and physiotherapy, and I felt fully informed throughout the appointment. . Overall, a very positive and supportive experience.
