Dr. James Noake is not only a phenomenal doctor but also a truly exceptional person. His clinical expertise, commitment, and compassion enabled me to achieve something that had once felt impossible, and I will be forever grateful for his care. I had been training for seven months to take on a double marathon in memory of my brother, who tragically took his own life just over a year ago. The run meant everything to me — not just as a personal challenge, but as a way to honour him and raise money for The Hunchman Trust, a charity that supports young people navigating grief, especially after suicide. By the time race day was in sight, I had already raised £28,000, and the weight of expectation — from myself and from those supporting me — felt enormous. Seventeen days before the event, disaster struck. I was injured, and despite visits to a physio, I was in terrible shape. With less than two weeks to go, I was convinced my dream was over. It was then that my physio referred me to Dr. James Noake, who, upon hearing my story, went to great lengths to fit me into his schedule. My case was complicated. I had an inflamed Kager’s fat pad and a trapped sural nerve, problems made even harder to diagnose because of a previous ankle reconstruction back in 2019. Where others had struggled, Dr. Noake immediately identified the issue. The very next morning, he came in early to give me the treatment and injections I desperately needed. What happened next felt nothing short of remarkable. Days earlier I had been ready to give up, certain I’d have to withdraw from the race. Instead, with Dr. Noake’s expertise and guidance, I was not only able to start but to finish the double marathon. Throughout the event, he made himself available, checking in, offering advice, and guiding me on what I could and couldn’t do to protect myself. Thanks to him, I was able to cross that finish line and, more importantly, honour my brother’s memory in the way I had hoped.

A Life-Changing Experience – Thank You My wife is 62 years old and has battled alcoholism for 27 years. She had been to rehab three times before, but this time was different. That openness has been life-changing for the whole family. I will always be grateful for their understanding, dedication, and wisdom. They didn’t just help my wife — they helped give our family hope again.

I was seen by a young male dentist (apologies, he did tell me but I can't recall his name and it isn’t listed on the website – perhaps he is new). He was professional, informative, and efficient throughout my appointment. As I’m allergic to local anaesthetics, fillings can be particularly uncomfortable, but he was very reassuring and took great care, as did the dental nurse. By far, this has been the best service I’ve experienced at the practice to date. My only critique is not directed at the dentist himself, but rather the practice’s policy. Over the past couple of years, I’ve noticed that patients cannot book a filling replacement directly without first having a pre-booking consultation. This essentially doubles both the cost and the time needed off work. In my case, a chipped filling was causing pain due to decay, and it was obvious that a replacement filling was required. I had to insist several times when booking that I did not need a pre-assessment, only a filling appointment. Given that I am a private patient and a silver filling costs almost £200, being charged for an unnecessary pre-booking simply to confirm what is already evident feels unreasonable.

I was a little nervous about visiting the clinic as I had never been to a private practice before, but my experience was excellent from start to finish. The receptionist was very approachable and welcoming, which immediately put me at ease when I arrived. The health practitioner who saw me was calm, professional, and attentive. He took the time to discuss my previous health conditions and was able to pinpoint some of my concerns while offering clear, helpful advice. The health assessment itself was quick but thorough, and I felt reassured throughout. What impressed me most was how well everything was explained, from accessing my results to the range of other services available, including mental health support. I was also given practical guidance on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Overall, I left feeling very reassured and impressed by the high standard of care. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff were supportive, and I would definitely recommend this hospital to others.

Let me assure you this is the doctor you want to put you at ease, his level of professionalism and more Importantly his ability to relate to you and make you comfortable are second to none. He listens attentively and offers explanations to guide you through your journey. Whilst carrying out the proceedure he ensured that I was fully aware of what was going to happen and kept things light hearted. Post op - great follow up, with clear and concise explanations, welcoming questions. There is an element of familiarity when the doctor approaches you, he finds the ability to relate, which is great, a Doctor that actually talks to you rather than at you! Lastly his secretary always kept in touch regularly , super friendly and always there when you need her. GREAT!

I was transferred to the Nuffield Hospital Woking by the NHS under consultant Mr Neville Menezes. My first consultation he examined me and gave me a full explanation of the issue, the required treatment and the time schedule. On the day of the operation Mr Menezes was professional, had an excellent bedside manner and explained the procedure in detail. Post Op he checked with me that I was OK, with pain management and informed of how the procedure went. Final consultation post surgery, Mr Menezes gave me another examination to check for infection, wound healing. He then provided me with excellent advice to assist me back into my normal daily routine. Really please with all the consultations, the surgery and support - excellent service.

I felt emotional after seeing Mr Emmanuel. After a long time of not feeling heard in relation to my endometriosis and persistent visits to the hospital, trips to A&E in severe pain and being put on morphine - then leaving with no answers or idea of a forward plan to find out what was going on, as well as many discussions with my GP over the last couple of years in relation to the same. He was incredibly attentive, listened to my symptoms and explained what he thought might be happening in simple terms that were easy for me to understand. I left feeling so validated and hopeful that I am now on track to knowing what my diagnosis is and may be able to get the treatment that is needed.

I saw my doctor. My doctor is amazing. I had blood tests. The process was OK, but not all tests as expected were reported. I collected medicines from the pharmacy. Their records of my needs were lacking and they refused to resolve the issues. I had to return to the hospital another time and they had corrected themselves and I received what was prescribed. The fee charging system from Imperial is haphazard and I receive charges that are not even incurred. There are no explanations or discussion. My medicine is charged a price 35% higher than a comparable cancer hospital not far away. Imperial needs to be more transparent and fair in their charges.

My wife is in hospital for an operation today and due to prior anxieties over NHS treatment, we asked the hospital for me to stay with my wife in the room throughout including overnight. They have been most accommodating and have bent over backwards to make it work and kept me fully informed throughout how the operation is going. The consultant was more than happy for me to ask questions both during consultations and the surgery today and has given great confidence that all will go as planned. Ward staff have been more than helpful to both of us and treated us as individuals and my wife has been provided a high level of care throughout.

I had hip replacement surgery, my admission and pre surgery checks were done professionally and very courteously. The surgery team made me feel relaxed (I was very nervous) and they treated me with care and respect before, during and after the operation. Overnight, the medical staff checked on me regularly, were very supportive and helped with pain management and looking after my comfort Throughout my stay the service staff were very attentive and looked after me, catering for my needs.
