Mr Chin Hooi Gan

Following years of treatment for endometriosis through the NHS, including oophorectomy in 2015 and a full hysterectomy in 2018 at the age of 28, It was confirmed that I still had endometriosis and I have since undergone 2 further laparoscopies. The last procedure in 2024 was unsuccessful and some of the endometriosis tissue was left. My symptoms steadily got worse to the point where I could not walk unaided and was taking morphine daily in order to function. My quality of life was non-existent and I had lost faith in the NHS due to continuous dismissals. Following my own research I found Mr Gan. After the initial appointment with him in June 2025, for the first time I felt I had been listened to and believed when I spoke about my pain and symptoms. Mr Gan was very sympathetic, compassionate and thorough. He communicated his concerns very well and ensured I completely understood my issues. Mr Gan then kept me informed of his plan, the whole process and potential time frames. It was also very clear that the most important thing for Mr Gan was for me to come out of the whole process with a better quality of life and alleviation of my symptoms, as there were question marks over exactly where and how much endometrial tissue there was. Several times he shared his concerns regarding surgery and the cost of surgery Vs the reward, this clearly showed his concern for doing the right thing and that his patients come first. However I insisted that my symptoms were linked to endometriosis due to my past experience and Mr Gan listened. He agreed to do the surgery. I underwent surgery in October 2025 led by Mr Gan. During the surgery Mr Gan excised endometriosis and scar tissue from my bladder, sigmoid colon and vaginal vault. He also located and removed an 8cm endometriosis nodule/scarring that was attached and constricting my ureter, hypogastric nerve and several ligaments. Mr Gan was clearly incredibly precise as the surgery was completed with no complications, despite the significant intricacy! When I awake following my anaesthetic, I was immediately symptom free. The pain that had been crippling me for years had gone. The only explanation for this is the skill, care and expertise of Mr Gan and his surgical team. As I write this I am 10 weeks post op, I am back at work full-time, I walk twice a day with my dog and have no need of pain relief whatsoever. I am back to my old self, I have my life back and my partner and I could not be more grateful for what Mr Gan did for me. Following years of dismissals and medical gaslighting from gynaecologists elsewhere, Mr Gan truly was my light at the end of a very long and dark tunnel. Mr Gan will always be my first choice should my endometriosis return, I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you Mr Gan for everything that you do!

I was informed in the email sent for my first appointment that the consultation would take approx one to one and a half hrs maybe more if I was having tests. I saw the consultant and had the tests, this took no more than 10-15 minutes. In my experience of having private consultation I don’t think this was a consultation, I was told someone will call me and give me details of the treatment, I was not given a time or day when this phone call would take place. I tried to ask questions about the treatment but was told they would explain all to me in the phone call. I called next day as I had other commitments the following days and weeks and may have missed their call. I was given the information about the treatment on the phone, I asked if I was paying for this phone call and was told that I would not be charged. I was charged and paid for the tests on the day, after the phone call I later received an invoice for the consultation of £300, so basically I was charged for a phone consultation as I don’t believe I got a consultation on the day that warranted this amount of money. I am really disappointed with this kind of service, I believe if I’m paying for a private consultation I should be given the time face to face so that I can ask questions and understand the treatment that I will be paying for. This was not NHS where you are only allocated a small amount of time, which is why I am so disappointed with this service and the costs which is unwarranted.

The doctor has been fantastic as always. Im fully satisfied with his consultation. The operation outside the consultation was the challenge for a patient. After the consultation I was instructed to go to the reception and wait. I was waiting in the reception from around 19:15. A few other patients there were all called and gone and I was alone in the reception area when the receptionist finally spotted on me around 19:50, asking me if I was waiting for a consultation. I reminded them that that I had already finished it and waiting for the next step. They found in the system that they needed to make an appointment for ultrasound and injection for me. On the ultrasound and injection date. The appointment was 11:00. I arrived at 10:45 as your hospital request to the patient and started waiting. At 10:55, staff told me that the entrance area of the ultrasound treatment room had an urgent repaired work in progress and asked me to wait for 15 mins. The staff came over again telling me that it would be pushed back to 11:30.. At 11:35, I was finally invited for the ultrasound. All the staff were friendly, very apologetic and sympathetic. I just wanted to share that there was room for the operational improvement. Thank you for your service.

I would highly recommend Dr Glynne to patients seeking a clinician who is comfortable managing complexity with rigour, clarity, and integrity.

Finally Got Answers! I'm a student in my twenties and had been struggling for ages, suspecting I might have ADHD but not really knowing where to start. I really enjoyed working with Mr. Nakade and am extremely grateful for his support and care. As a woman, I’ve often felt anxious about working with a male gynecologist, but Mr. Nakade was exceptionally polite and thoughtful. He put a great deal of effort into creating a calm, respectful, and comfortable environment, and I honestly never felt awkward for even a moment. I trusted him completely and felt genuinely taken care of throughout the entire process. He explains everything very clearly, is extremely careful and attentive, and the quality of care was outstanding. I also heard excellent feedback about the surgery itself and the follow-up afterwards. Mr Awad has been absolutely amazing throughout my mother’s treatment. She’s been seeing him for around 4 months for a lower eyelid growth, which was both invasive and extremely painful. Mr Awad has been so warm, kind and professional at all times and has been so reassuring. My Mum had the growth removed and eyelid reconstruction on the 18th Dec by Mr Awad and the results are truly fabulous. Mum is already mostly pain free and the surgery is so discreet that it’s hardly noticeable. We cannot praise Mr Awad enough and we would also like to say the same for his team in surgery, recovery and clinic. I had an excellent experience with Mr Pal, medical retina specialist at Moorfields Private.He is extremely calm, professional, and highly knowledgeable. He diagnosed my CSR within minutes of the consultation and took the time to explain everything in detail, using scans and test results that had been carried out prior to the appointment. This level of clarity and thorough explanation was something I had not received during several previous consultations with other specialists, both in London and elsewhere. Mr Pal made me feel reassured and confident in his expertise. His team is also excellent—professional, supportive, and well organised. I have had multiple appointments and a procedure with kingsbridge, the administration staff are honestly the worst i have came across. From not being able to get through to messed up appointments it is shocking for what you charge in a private hospital. The reception staff at ballykelly are also horrendous. When visiting the hospital i was standing at the reception desk for 10 minutes before i was attended to whilst the receptionists were cursing and slagging off other staff and patients. I would really hope this feedback is taken seriously because I myself will not be back in kingsbridge as a patient due to the outcome of all of this!

I had a video consultation with Dr Kallis. In the previous months I had a abdominal ultrasound scan and a CT abdomen and pelvis dual phase scan which appeared to show conflicting results. Dr Kallis explained the purpose and limitations of such scans as the reason for such conflicts, which I found understandable and reassuring. He also outlined the appropriate tests to take to clarify any remaining issues. Dr Kallis was patient and clear in responding to any questions I had. The organisation of the video consultation was very efficiently handled by his Medical Secretary. I would certainly recommend Dr Kallis

I’ve been with Medical Prime for 4 years and I can’t recommend Dr Theodora Kalentzi highly enough. Menopause symptoms can creep up on you,. It’s easy to ignore if not extreme but over time you can lose your former self. It doesn’t have to be that way. Dr Kalentzi offers a highly personalised approach to finding the right type af HRT for each patient. Visits for me are a time to focus on me and my overall health and wellbeing. Dr Kalentzi makes her patients feel at ease and truly delivers life transformation results for women going through the menopause.

I opted for a hip replacement and he patiently explained what would be done and the recovery time. I had been experiencing problems with my thumb and knees, tried various things including thumb splint. Saw Dr James Thing and must say the experience start to finish was excellent, pinpointed problem areas and carried out scan and targeted areas that were problem and treated, now no longer need splin or pain relief. So much more movement in knees too. Would highly recommend.
