I had a very good experience with Visio Health when I had recent laser treatment following cataract surgery on both eyes with Ms Sandhu. The cataract surgery, which took place in hospital in July and October, has been very successful. I no longer need glasses after having vision corrective lenses. And I hadn’t realised quite how blurred and sepia my sight had become. My vision is now very clear and bright. It really has positively impacted my life. Everything looks like it did back when I was young. It’s so much more cheerful than that blurry, yellow sight that I had grown so used to. And I am so much more confident when driving. No more night glare. I was really apprehensive and anxious about cataract surgery. So much so that it was decided that I would have the procedure under general anaesthetic. But I can honestly say that despite all the worry the end result is better than I could have imagined. The laser treatment at Visio to improve my sight further with one session of laser treatment was totally painless, very straightforward and uncomplicated. The clinic was very well organised and the staff were all lovely. A very good experience.

I recently had a consultation with Dr Tan, and I was truly impressed by the level of care she provided. She showed exceptional compassion and empathy, listened carefully to every concern, and addressed each point thoroughly and individually. No question felt rushed or unwelcome. This review honestly doesn’t do justice to the standard of service we received. I left the appointment feeling completely reassured and confident that I was in the safest hands. Speaking with her felt like talking to someone I had known for years—she was patient and so attentive. Whenever something wasn’t clear, she took the time to explain it fully, even using drawings to help us understand. A service like that will never be forgotten, thank you so much!

I have used Avenues for a cycle of IVF/ICSi, a hysteroscopy and then FET. I was under the care of De Ali Al Chami and became pregnant with the first transfer, having 3 failed attempts elsewhere. Dr Al Chami changed my protocol (both stimulation and transfer protocol). This places is miles apart because it guarantees continuity of care and patients are treated as people. dr Ali is a wonderful person and he cares about his patients. The midwives (Marina Christina Katie Fiona Emily Starvula) are all amazing and know each patient by name and treated me with warmth, dignity, compassion and professionalism.

Dr Ziad Farah is professional yet personable. He studied my case in detail and was able to provide reassurance on how my treatment was going. He is incredibly responsive and fast acting - I have never experienced this before but I am so grateful for this as he was able to act quickly on my case which has been prolonged for months. He provided me with the right referrals, quickly. Most of all, he was one of the first specialists to take his time and listen to me in detail and was very understanding and empathetic. first meeting Dr Chauhan I felt at ease and he instantly gave me a lot of confidence to have a major operation, a full hip replacement. He explained in detail what would happen etc etc. In the operating theatre he again put me at ease with his professionalism and the operation was over and done before I knew it with no problems at all. This was a follow up after an intial appointment 6 months ago which was a negative experience, I was however sent for an MRI without much hope of help in the future.just more pain! Attended MRI mistakenly procedure was for the wrong foot. Persuaded the Radiographer to do other one she did however take the affected foot, proving severe arthritis exists in my foot. Distressed to get result yesterday and would have liked a definite follow up appointment not just I think will be seeing you in the future

Mr Jones was kind, genial, professional and as gentle as he could be with the procedure. He chatted to me during the procedure , telling me about the scan that was showing the fluid on/ around my knee and was happy to answer my question about what the fluid was that he was removing etc. He told me that I’d get a call from him in a few months time to check how I’m getting on rather than a face to face follow up. What an excellent man !

My recent visit here was to have my operation done and what a lovely, kind, caring, clean hospital Spire Cardiff is. I wasn’t waiting long before being shown to my room, the staff were all out of this world amazing. So lovely, made you feel at ease and comfortable. Nothing was too much for them. The room was to a very high standard of cleanliness also.

This was the first time I had been treated in hospital for 50 years so I was understandably anxious about having a hip replacement operation but everybody was so kind and helpful with endless patience and professionalism nothing was to much trouble and I would recomend to anyone this hospital and all the staff are excellent.
