Dr Pavlidis is exceptional whom I would highly recommended. He is very knowledgeable and very skillful surgeon. When I had some tricky scenarios throughout the year and no Doctor could provide constructive feedback, Dr. Pavlidis could advise detail checking to be performed and diagnoised with detail investigation. He listened to patient's concern, provided a very customised solution and suggestion pre/post the procedure (angiogram). Dr. Pavlidis provided the decision which is best for patient and explained clearly what is the treatment and concern area. He is very willing to spend time with patient that make patient feeling very caring and feeling comfortable and confidence in the procedure and treatment to be treated. On top of that, Korina - the secretary of Dr. Pavlidis is very responsive and helpful as well which made the whole consultation process went smoothly.

Couldn't fault the hospital at all. It is clean, and a very welcoming environment, but of course is absolutely down to the people that run it. Every single member of staff I came across - whether in my pre op assessment appointment, or during my surgical visit - was incredibly kind, patient, and so easy to get along with. I have had few good experiences when it comes to hospital visits, but the two times I've been at The Lister Hospital, I have spoken to and laughed with so many workers. My nurse Rasheed was an absolute gem, and was brilliant with my family when they came to the room after surgery. His focus is not only on removing the cancer but also on achieving the best possible long-term quality of life for his patients. Thanks to his outstanding surgical skill and expertise, my operation was a complete success: the cancer was entirely removed with clear margins, and I have experienced no incontinence and no impairment of sexual function. I cannot recommend or thank Mr Abou-Chedid highly enough.

I was told to report to the Heart Centre, which I did, then tried to catch the attention of the only staff member I could see who was someone eating her breakfast from a bowl. The encounter was not welcoming or friendly. I was told to go downstairs to a different door, with no sign on. When I did finally find the right place the nurse was very friendly and kind, and everything went very well after that. The nurse and the consultant were very good in all they did. My letter of admission insisted that I was 'nil by mouth' so I arrived at the hospital thirsty and hungry. When there I was informed that in fact I could eat and drink whatever I wanted- that there was no restriction. I wish I had been informed correctly in the first place.
