Dear Team, I would like to provide feedback, as my experience at Harley Street Specialist Hospital has genuinely changed my life. I want to say how incredibly grateful and eternally indebted I am to my surgeon, Mr Luke Cascarini. He has given me a completely new lease of life. He is not only an outstanding surgeon but an exceptional human being, and I cannot thank him enough for the care, precision, and compassion he showed throughout my entire journey. I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to Janet, Dr Bosh, and all the nursing staff, as well as every member of the team right down to the wonderful ladies on reception, including Marianne. There are too many to name individually, but every single person played a role in making this experience extraordinary. The hospital itself does not feel like a hospital at all — it feels more like a health retreat where you leave as a better version of yourself. The environment, the warmth, and the standard of care are truly exceptional. For anyone suffering from sleep apnea, as I was, or dealing with any of the conditions treated by your specialists, I could not recommend HSSH and Mr Luke Cascarini more highly. Arrived early Saturday morning for a small knee operation. Taken to my room by a lovely friendly porter. Was invited immediately by catering to make a choice of food from an excellent menu. Then seen by nurses, anaesthetist, surgeon, who all explained exactly what was going to happen, in a relaxing manner, giving me complete confidence in their care. I was soon taken to theatre by the lovely chatty nurse & porter, that had been with me from my arrival. They obviously had a happy working relationship, including me in their chat to make me feel more relaxed. The anaesthetist was lovely, chatting about Christmas whilst calmly letting me drift into sleep. I woke up feeling well & refreshed, taken back to my room for a cuppa & delicious sandwich. The nurses continued their careful monitoring of me & I was soon seen by the physiotherapist who explained about the importance of my post-exercise sheet & use of crutches. Then a visit by Mr Slack, my amazing surgeon that had previously done my hip replacement, who explained what he’d done, that all had gone well, discharging me to go home & it’s only early afternoon. My painkillers arrive, my home instruction booklet is completed, I can go home. What fantastic care from all the staff & medical team, many thanks to you all.

Professor Melvin Lobo

General (Internal) Medicine

I've only seen Dr Lobo once, so my experience is still limited, but he seemed very knowledgeable about my obscure problems. Time will tell whether his hypotheses are correct, but so far he seemed to have a very practical approach and a concrete plan moving forward. When it came to my appointment, he was timely and polite. The wait time for his appointment was very reasonable (2-3 weeks), and he produced the letter for my appointment very quickly (<24h). My only criticism is that the default pharmacy used by London Bridge Hospital clinicians is Pharmacierge, and it seems to be very expensive. The Low Dose Naltrexone I was prescribed was £239, but only £66 when shopping around. Dr Lobo kindly rerouted the prescription to another pharmacy, but I would suggest to at least inform the patients about certain costs and letting them know about more sensible options.

I cannot fault the patience and understanding I have experienced from this dedicated professional individual during that time. From the outset, he always went out of his way to explain clearly everything that would/could be involved with my treatment and recovery, checking I understood and asking if I was happy with what he proposed. I felt like an individual whose recovery mattered to him, not just a number , a name on a list! I am so grateful for his dedication and skill in enabling my recovery.

We recently visited Nuffield Vale of Glamorgan for my son’s squint surgery under the care of Dr Jewsbury. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Communication was clear, reassuring, and consistent, and every member of the team went out of their way to make sure my son felt safe and supported. Dr Jewsbury’s care, both on the day and in the weeks that followed, was exceptional. The results have surpassed our expectations and have been genuinely life-changing for my son. We are so grateful for the professionalism, kindness, and attention we received throughout. Highly recommended.

I was an NHS patient struggling with gallstones and experiencing frequent attacks. After doing some research, I was able to book an appointment at Spire Hospital Harpenden, where I first met Mr. Jambulingam in August this year. Just two months after that initial consultation, I had my gallbladder removed. I want to express my deepest thanks to Mr. Jambulingam and the entire team at Spire Hospital Harpenden. From beginning to end, the care and experience were exceptional, and I am truly grateful for everything they have done for me.

We visited Dr Kabunga with an urgent requirement for a cardiac review to enable a scheduled surgery to go ahead the following week. Dr Kabunga and his team were excellent in assisting us with this request, providing an initial consultation the day after our contact, scans the day after that, and follow up consultation and clinical letter during the morning of the day following that. We could not be more pleased with the care and professionalism we received during this very stressful time - and what an incredible turnaround time !

Dr Lawrence is very thorough, knowledgable and considerate. He really takes time to engage and understand, never jumping to conclusions, and always puts my lived experience, as a patient, first and foremost. I feel I can be open and transparent with Dr Lawrence and he in turn is non-judgemental, honest and supportive. I would rate Dr Lawrence as one of the very best doctors I've ever dealt with and consider myself very fortunate to have met him.

I visted the 2Me Clinic with Dr. Amaechi for a coil removal that I was extremely nervous for after 1 failed attempt by the NHS. From consultation phone call to the procedure, Dr. Amaechi met me with so much compassion, kindness and understanding. Would highly recommend Mr Sahu. He was thorough and took the time to explain my situation to me. It was reassuring to know that the treatment I had already been receiving for my AMD was appropriate but he also highlighted the need for cataract surgery in both eyes.
