My experience has been nothing short of exceptional. My initial contact was with Tracey Lomax (Manager), and from the very beginning she offered a level of care and attention that truly stood out. I had written a long list of questions—around eight—and she took the time to highlight and respond to every single one. When I later sent even more questions regarding my chosen procedure (a Coronary CT Angiogram), she continued to provide thorough, reassuring answers. My intention was simply to undergo a non-invasive heart assessment at the age of 53—much like purchasing travel insurance, you prepare for the worst but hope for the best. Tracey reassured me that this was absolutely the right place for such an assessment. I had already enquired with two other providers, including Alliance Medical, but their responses felt robotic and impersonal. The level of genuine care here made all the difference. I also want to highlight the professionalism of the radiologist, who carried out the scan with great precision and made me feel completely at ease throughout the procedure. In addition, the nurse who took my blood samples three days prior to the scan was equally kind and professional—and the fact that these pre-scan blood tests were fully included in the cost was a significant and appreciated gesture. Dr. Gavin Lewis was the consultant who saw me both before and after the scan, with the consultation arranged on the same day. His explanation of the results was clear, calm, and reassuring. Both my wife and I left feeling confident about the future and grateful for the guidance he provided—including helpful advice on maintaining a healthy heart and speaking with my GP about medication adjustments. The final report arrived at my home within seven days, and a copy was also sent directly to my GP. My medication was promptly reviewed, updated, and delivered straight to my home. I am taking the time to write such a detailed review because they genuinely deserve it. They put real effort into caring for me, and I want to acknowledge that level of dedication. She reviewed all of my mum’s medical records systematically and asked questions that showed she was genuinely trying to get to the root cause of the hypertension, not just treat the numbers. I had a hip replacement in 2011 at just 47 years of age. For two years it was good but then became problematic. I revisited my original surgeon on numerous occasions, had numerous X rays, scans and injections but to no avail. After some 7/8 years of this I was removed from list as I was told there was no issue with the hip itself. Some 2 years later the pain had gotten worse and so I referred myself back to Broadgreen Hospital. Fortunately for me this time under Mr UI Islam. He reviewed scans, X rays etc and quickly identified that hip joint had dropped hence the issues I was having. He explained the potential risks of further surgery and we decided it was worth the risk. 3 days after surgery in what he tells me was a fairly complex operation I was out of hospital. Hip is better than it has been in 15 years. I am so grateful to Mr UI Islam and could not speak highly enough of him. I have a life back because of him.

Recent visit was ok. My Nurses could have been better organised. On arrival no one was there to greet me despite being told to be there at 7.30 am I wasn’t told no one could come up and wait with you or be present after my procedure. The room for pre theatre and after theatre was far too small for 3 beds to be in it. It was also flat too hot in the room making me feel worse.. Unprepared for someone feeling unwell after the procedure. I did feel very rushed after my procedure despite feeling unwell! The doctor on shift however was very good. Nurses rushing to finish their shift in theatre to hand me over made me feel uneasy. Nurse looking after me rushing me out the door as it was past 8pm. I was worried about leaving as still felt pretty unwel. Overall was not tailored to my needs Surgeon & anaesthetist very good can’t fault them at all. Made me feel very at ease before my procedure.

Very pleasing experience. I was given plenty of time, and had a thorough examination of my ears, with the removal of wax, followed by a full hearing test. I returned a couple of weeks later, and having been shown several different hearing aids, went for ones that fit into the ear, with no wires or pieces behind the ear. I now have them on a months trial to see how I get on with them. I was quoted a price, which I understand I will pay if these are the correct ones for me, but only when I am totally satisfied. There is then a 3 monthly check included in the price. I believe I can try others if these are not right for me, and Mr Clive who I saw, was most helpful and understanding of a lady who hated the idea of wearing hearing aids!

I felt truly cared for and in very capable hands. She is efficient, skilled, and highly knowledgeable. Not a good start, but thereafter things went smoothly. However, when an invoice recently arrived for a previous stress test and blood test, no account had been taken of the fact that I paid for the stress test on the day I took the test. Overall, there have been some administrative failings.
