Highly Recommend Dr. Katherine & The Real You Clinic I’ve been going to Dr. Katherine at The Real You Clinic for my skin and aesthetic treatments, and honestly, the experience is exceptional every single time. Her Botox results are the best I’ve ever had — subtle, natural and beautifully lifted. She also does the most amazing Profhilo treatments that genuinely transform the skin, leaving it glowing, hydrated and fresh. And her “peel-no-peel” skin peel is incredible… you walk out brighter without any downtime. What really sets Dr. Katherine apart is the way she treats you as a person, not just a quick appointment. I can’t recommend Mr. Richard Scawn highly enough. Before meeting him, I had seen three other surgeons and even booked the operation twice but ended up cancelling because I didn’t feel fully confident. From my very first appointment with Richard, everything felt different. He was calm, kind, and incredibly reassuring — never pushy, never rushed — and both my husband and I instantly felt we were in safe hands. I trusted him completely, and I’m so glad I did. I’m now three weeks post–lower lid blepharoplasty and absolutely over the moon with the results. My bruising was minimal and disappeared quickly, and the scar line is genuinely impeccable. I’m 39, so my skin is still fairly young, but even with a magnifying mirror I cannot see the incision. The work Richard has done is truly amazing. I recently attended a Preconception Appointment with Mr. Adam Jakes at the clinic. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome from Gemma at reception and Mashal kindly assisted with my pre-appointment obs. The clinic itself is immaculate, modern, and beautifully presented. During the consultation, Dr Adam took the time to thoroughly review my medical history and discuss plans for baby number two. We spoke in detail about my Type 1 diabetes, its potential impact on a future pregnancy, and strategies to optimise blood sugar control beforehand. The appointment never felt rushed; Dr Adam provided clear guidance and even highlighted the progress I’ve made, which was a reassuring confidence boost. I would highly recommend Dr Adam, especially for anyone managing a medical condition. The experience was seamless, and I received comprehensive follow-up notes within just a couple of days.

I saw alMr Farndon for issues with my knee and my ankle. The knee was some cartilage damage and my ankle was damage to a ligament. After MRIs and X-rays on both Mr Farndon was able to clearly explain the issue to me and options available to me. At no point did I feel pushed down any option and I felt my ambitions and lifestyle were always well understood. In the end we decided for surgery on both. Mr Farndon was very flexible and accommodating on dates and scheduling to minimise the time I'd be out of action but ensure I had suitable recovery between procedures. Since the surgery I feel stronger and more stable in both joints and able to get back to life as normal within less than 2 months which I find incredible! Mr Farndon never rushed any appointments and has a warm but devoutly professional manor that inspires confidence! I recommend him highly!

Having not been inside a private hospital in a long time, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The Spencer is not luxurious in any way and there are no nods to suggest that you are in private hospital compared to run of the mill NHS establishments (I think many including me, have forgotten just how ropey most NHS hospitals were in comparison). It is however, a more relaxed environment and on a much smaller scale. Attention from staff was great and the treatment (so far anyway!) seems top notch in terms of highly expert consultations. It’s too soon to tell how effective my treatment is, but I feel im in good, safe hands.

As per usual every part of my visit is very professional and all the communication is prompt and informative, it is good to receive a copy of the progress. My last visit was on Saturday 6th December and it was a review of the laser treatment on my left eye - I was delighted when the review confirmed that the pressure on my eye had fallen to normal - this was a 50% reduction. I only had to put one eye drop at night. This was very professional and I have a six monthly review in my diary for 2026. I would have no problems at all in recommending Cathedral Eye Clinic.

Just needed a referral for an overseas routine scan and I achieved what I needed. NHS in their wisdom won't provide scans for those with a strong family history indicator which is fine but utterly absurd not to provide a referral just because a CT machine (superior to most in the UK) is located overseas. These scans can be life savers and it's useful that this provider can fulfil the common sense role that the NHS abdicates responsibility on.

I had migs and cataract in my right eye the staff were amazing the time seemed to pass very quickly 7.30am check in I was last even though I was anxious I needn’t have been as there was no pain whatsoever and recovery was good I’m looking forward to my left eye being done hopefully in the next few months I will not be as anxious next time then I can hopefully be free of drops!
