The Best Urologist- A true godsend, and a credit to his profession, Dr. Imad- El Mohtar. I cannot recommend Dr. Imad highly enough. Personal experience two weeks back: Got some medical condition that needed a urologist and can fairly say I was lucky to reach out to him at Northway clinic. He immediately advised me, took action, and treated me there. He thoroughly explained to me the condition, side effects, etc. What truly sets him apart is his patience and willingness to answer every single question. Not only this, he checked upon me over email and advised on the test results. He never rushes during consultations and gives you his full, undivided attention, making you feel heard and cared for. If you are looking for a brilliant urologist, look no further. I highly recommend him to anyone. Further, the reception department at Northway clinic is unmatched too. The staff tries their best to book an appointment and even reschedule. Generally, in many clinics in London, I found reception personnel to be rude, but here, all the staff are so caring and genuinely think of the patient's best time utilisation. Fair to say, the clinic does not charge exorbitant prices at all. It's way too few compared to private clinics at Harley Street, and some businesses in Canary Wharf. The kind of treatment you can get is much higher than the money you will spend in the clinic. Trust me.

I wanted to share some feedback on my recent appointment. I felt the consultant was quite dismissive and used language that may not have been appropriate — for example, when feeling the lump I was told immediately “this is not cancer.” While I have personal experience in this area and have been through it before, for someone new to this situation such a conclusion could feel very daunting and unsettling. The appointment also felt rushed, particularly after the ultrasound (as the mammogram machine was broken). I left feeling as though my questions were seen as unimportant, and that I was being hurried out because “nothing was wrong.” While I accept the results, I had hoped for a more considered discussion — especially as I’ve had similar lumps removed in the past and wanted to understand the difference this time. Instead, I was simply told to manage the pain, given a leaflet, and advised to take primrose oil. This did not feel like the most supportive approach. To then receive a letter a couple of hours later — before the mammogram had even taken place — dismissing me from the service, felt like a rushed and premature conclusion. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as the experience could be improved by allowing more time for questions, more sensitivity in communication, and reassurance for patients at what can be an anxious time.

From the very first appointment, I felt truly listened to and understood by Dr. Kurkar. He approached my assessment without any pre-conceptions, creating a safe space where I felt empowered to share my full story honestly. What stood out most was his ability to recognise that my hyperactivity was more internal than external—something that could have easily been overlooked. His careful listening and thoughtful guidance made all the difference. Receiving my ADHD diagnosis has been genuinely life-changing. Since then, I’ve made so many positive changes that actively help me manage my ADHD symptoms, and I’ve never felt more aligned with my true self. At follow-up appointments, Dr. Kurkar continues to take a holistic approach. He doesn’t just see me through the lens of ADHD, but also considers my overall wellbeing, including hormones and perimenopause. This has helped me feel understood as a whole person, not just a diagnosis. I know not everyone has the same experience or outcome, and I feel very fortunate that Dr. Kurkar’s kindness, empathy, and professionalism made such a difficult process validating rather than overwhelming. If it wasn’t for his supportive approach, I may never have felt comfortable enough to be open about my experiences. Thanks to him, I feel seen, validated, and able to move forward with a clearer understanding of myself.

This procedure has been LIFE CHANGING for me. Every single symptom I had before has comepletly gone, I am able to breath normally now, my severe nose bleeds and head aches have stopped also. It is an incredible shame this is now no longer provided through the NHS. Without this, my quality of life would be significantly worse. I’d like to thank Tim and his team for changing my quality of life for the better. I believe the NHS does get a bad reputation through what is reported in the media, however, my procedure and the quality of care was absolutely faultless. I have had many consultations funded by both NHS and privately. I have not had a better experience than my appointments with Dr Patel. He was kind, warm, down to earth and engaged. He wanted to know about me as a whole person, not just one medical (heart related) problem. This led to him identifying that I was possibly taking the wrong bladder medication and also possibly suffering from chronic stress. The bladder medication possiblity has proved to be correct and the suggestion of chronic stress, is also, I believe correct and been very helpful to me. He carried out an echocardiogram and explained carefully what he was doing as he did it. His follow up consultation was also clear and reassuring. I would like my husband to see him, and would recommend him to any of my family and friends concerned about their heart health.

I had a really positive and pleasant experience with the radiographers. There were two of them and they were both very friendly, helpful, patient, careful, knowledgeable and extremely professional. I was very happy with their care. What I was not happy about was the service from the MRI/Scan receptionists, this is the second time I’ve done a scan and each time the receptionists were not friendly, they we’re extremely direct showing no empathy and welcoming presence. They seemed busy with the conversation they were having with each other so I have found on both occasions their service has been very poor. The first time I assumed it was a one off but after experiencing it for the second time I feel it’s necessary to provide the feedback so something can be done about it.

Claire Sewter's speedy visit and diagnosis was reassuring and clearly highly professional. She was highly knowledgeable and provided really practical advice and support. I have followed the recommended programme carefully and left feedback or email responses that Claire has followed up regularly. The stretches and exercises that were given, have helped me to improve and recover my physical condition, quickly, and after 4 weeks I am feeling a lot stronger, and better overall. As this was the 3rd time I have approached Let's Go Physio for help - with different injuries - I can recommend them unreservedly - and have done so already with a few people.

I came to urology as a private patient because I am allergic to so many antibiotics my own doctors had failed to prescribe something that would clear an infection I had had for six weeks. Within ten minutes of seeing the urologist and explaining things he prescribed medication that has cleared the infection and it hasn’t returned in the last five weeks. I am thrilled with the service I received and the prompt action of the urologist. I have since undergone further tests, which have had only a short wait time, perhaps a week. All I all I can’t thank the team enough for everything they have done. I finally felt listened to.

I did not experience any pain but just some solution in my eyes and it was over in minutes. My sight recovered quickly with long sight clearing first and then near vision after less than 2 days. I can read without glasses and my long vision is better than 20.20 in fact I managed to read most of the bottom line on the chart.
