What causes Bloating?
Bloating is sometimes a sign of the inability of the body to digest food. Some common causes include: Overeating, Lactose or fructose intolerance and other food intolerances, eating gas-producing foods, constipation, menstruation.
What are the symptoms of Bloating?
Most common symptom is the feeling of a full abdomen. Pain due to bloating feels sharp causing stomach cramps. Such pains can occur anywhere in the body. Hiccups may also sometimes be caused by bloating.
How is Bloating treated?
Life style changes and many over the counter medications can help with bloating. Lifestyle changes may include walking after meals and avoiding food consumption that causes bloating. Medications can be taken before eating or added to the food which causes bloating.
