My experience has been nothing short of exceptional. My initial contact was with Tracey Lomax (Manager), and from the very beginning she offered a level of care and attention that truly stood out. I had written a long list of questions—around eight—and she took the time to highlight and respond to every single one. When I later sent even more questions regarding my chosen procedure (a Coronary CT Angiogram), she continued to provide thorough, reassuring answers. My intention was simply to undergo a non-invasive heart assessment at the age of 53—much like purchasing travel insurance, you prepare for the worst but hope for the best. Tracey reassured me that this was absolutely the right place for such an assessment. I had already enquired with two other providers, including Alliance Medical, but their responses felt robotic and impersonal. The level of genuine care here made all the difference. I also want to highlight the professionalism of the radiologist, who carried out the scan with great precision and made me feel completely at ease throughout the procedure. In addition, the nurse who took my blood samples three days prior to the scan was equally kind and professional—and the fact that these pre-scan blood tests were fully included in the cost was a significant and appreciated gesture. Dr. Gavin Lewis was the consultant who saw me both before and after the scan, with the consultation arranged on the same day. His explanation of the results was clear, calm, and reassuring. Both my wife and I left feeling confident about the future and grateful for the guidance he provided—including helpful advice on maintaining a healthy heart and speaking with my GP about medication adjustments. The final report arrived at my home within seven days, and a copy was also sent directly to my GP. My medication was promptly reviewed, updated, and delivered straight to my home. I am taking the time to write such a detailed review because they genuinely deserve it. They put real effort into caring for me, and I want to acknowledge that level of dedication. In September 2025 Dr Mohsin Hussain carried out an emergency angioplasty on me and applied stents to my right carotid artery He explained clearly what was happening at each stage of the procedure which re-assured me In October 2035 I had a meeting with Dr Hussain to review the progress of my recovery and plan next steps. He showed me images the original blockage and another area in the LMCA We agreed to a further procedure with a pressure wire in November. Dr Hussein discussed details with me before the operation and during the procedure gave me the numbers so that I could decide whether a stent should be applied After the operation Dr Hussein discussed the procedure that had been carried out. He is a skilled doctor with an excellent bedside manner. He is very clear in his explanations to his patients which gives his patients confidence that the procedures being carried out are the right ones for them He also contacts patients after their discharge to ensure that they are progressing well He is very professional and approachable

I have been under Dr Raza's care for almost 3 years. I first saw him when a spinal MRI showed large fibroid. A few months ago, I had been in more discomfort than before so I decided to see Dr Raza in September. It turned out then after USG that the fibroid grew almost 60% and the additional MRI showed abnormal tissue. Dr Raza decided to perform emergency single-port robotic hysterectomy, an advanced and innovative method in the gynecology field. Although he was fully booked, he prioritised my case. Everything went well, and I recovered within a few weeks. I am so happy and so lucky that I have been under Dr Raza's care. He is an expert in his field, and always devotes more time during consultations to explain everything so that you can make informed decisions about your health. Going forward I will be seeing Dr Raza to monitor my female health.

Mr Simon Wemyss-Holden

I had no experience which would help me choose a consultant and had to use the CVs on the Spire website. I mainly chose Mr Wemyss-Holden because of his laparoscopic expertise. He was excellent. Since then, I've met a number of patients who also have a very high opinion of him. On meeting, he immediately put me at my ease, gave a confident diagnosis, explained my operation and assured me it would be successful. All of which he duly delivered. For the operation, he once again explained what would happen and returned afterwards to tell me of its success and what to expect going forward. The following week he gave me a check over and discharged me. Throughout, Mr Wemyss-Holden was very pleasant, while giving me a great deal of confidence that my treatment would be successful. He was open to questions and explained everything in detail.

What truly set him apart was his ability to make a potentially stressful situation completely manageable. He is incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain every detail of the surgery in a way that was clear and reassuring. Crucially, his fantastic sense of humour was a genuine comfort—it instantly put me at ease before the operation and even had me laughing post-surgery, (even if it did test his handiwork!) which was a brilliant start to my recovery. I had complete faith in his abilities, and the results of the surgery have been excellent. I would have absolutely no hesitation in choosing him again for any future procedure.

I was seen at breast clinic as a precautionary investigation I was nervous but I was met with such friendly natural staff which instantlymmade me feel at ease i was checked by the Dr then sent for a mammogram and then aent for an Uktrasound scan I am pleased to report that everything was normal and no concerns I thanked the dr profusely when he told me that everything was normal and i spoke highly to him about my having all the results within the time i was there I cannot thank you enough and thank the NHS for sending me there as I would not have ever wanted to wait for breast cancer screening results so to have them on the same night was so reassuring Thank you a nmillion times S

The receptionist and the nurse were lovely. However, the consultant made me feel like I wasn’t heard at all, I didn’t really get to talk about anything I wanted to talk about because every time I tried to I was cut off and told I would have to speak to someone else about that but I was confused as I was speaking about the issue I was there for. I also felt like I was penalised for my gp making a mistake and did feel very uncomfortable by the end of the consultation. Which made me quite sad as this is an issue I’ve been dealing with for a couple of years and I feel like I’m still getting no where with it.

I have had a niggley back for some time due to swimming and playing netball and not done anything about it. However I have got much stiffer and one side of my lower back became painful so reached out to Oseteopath West. Elsewhere I was informed that the I would require dye in my eye which would impair driving etc for a few hours, however, this was not necessary due to leading technology at Dr Sheeraz’s practice. Dr Sheeraz talked me through the findings and was able to put me at immediate ease. Highly recommended!
