Usually feedback is of a negative nature but this is not one of those occasions. My experience was awesome for which I am super grateful. I have had a number of gastroscopies in my life so was nervous about what was going to happen. From the moment of my arrival I was greeted and made to feel comfortable straight away. The pre-procedure nurses were very clear, helpful and showed huge amounts of empathy about what was going to happen. When wheeled into the operating theatre I was introduced to all of the team who were to perform the procedure, all of whom had welcoming smiles and a reassuring tone (a tone that continued throughout the procedure). Dr Alan Watson was super clear, professional and again very comforting. I knew I was in safe hands. I just had a throat spray, no sedation, so was fully aware of what was going on. One action that was performed by a nurse during the procedure was to, comfortingly, rub my shoulder. I couldn’t see who it was, but such a small, seemingly insignificant action, was hugely important to me and kept me connected with humanity during the brutal fact that I had a scope down my throat. Post procedure, I was greeted with the warm smiles again and wheeled to the recovery area where again everyone was super attentive. I can’t say thank you enough for everything. The team were awesome.

O 13 December I attended for a pre-med prior to spinal tap. Very good treatment until advised that the spinal tap cancelled due to my ECG. I was urged to immediately contact my GP or A&E. At Worthing A&E I was advised that due to current medication that I am taking for this issue it would have been OK to continue with the spinal tap and it was suggested that One Hospital refused to continue due to your lack of facility if the op went wrong. The journey to One Hospital, 90 miles each way, the time taken for that journey and the pre med followed by 2 hours in A&E was expensive. Before attending One Hospital I had completed a form at your request which listed the medication that I was taking and the reason. Why was I invited to that pre med? This is the second time that One Hospital have refused to go ahead with an operation that was subsequently completed by NHS without a problem. I now have no confidence in the One Hospital and will not seek further appointments.

Questionable bedside manor. Seemed rushed and not particularly interested in me as a patient. Booked a private consultation but when I arrived he didn't have any notes for my booking. Was reluctant to fill in the form requested by my private insurance and gave it back to me to post (health insurance stated it was to be sent by doctor electronically but I had to post as that's the only means I had and Mr Baker told me his secretary doesn't do that). Clearly not very interest in anything but his £220 consultation fee for all of an 8 minute chat! Reviews were however positive hence me choosing Mr Baker as my surgeon. Unfortunately I did have to have a second operation as the first didn't eliminate the issue or resolve my pain. This second operation was carried as as an urgent procedure under the care of the NHS following complications.

Very pleasing experience. I was given plenty of time, and had a thorough examination of my ears, with the removal of wax, followed by a full hearing test. I returned a couple of weeks later, and having been shown several different hearing aids, went for ones that fit into the ear, with no wires or pieces behind the ear. I now have them on a months trial to see how I get on with them. I was quoted a price, which I understand I will pay if these are the correct ones for me, but only when I am totally satisfied. There is then a 3 monthly check included in the price. I believe I can try others if these are not right for me, and Mr Clive who I saw, was most helpful and understanding of a lady who hated the idea of wearing hearing aids!

I cannot recommend Dr Okaro enough. He executed my entire pregnancy with such care and ease. I have a lot of anxiety, and I used to worry a lot about birth and how it would be. But honestly, after my husband and I met Dr Okaro everything changed. I went with Vaginal delivery and he calmed me down during delivery which I know was not easy for him since I come from a place of anxiety and panic attacks. He has given me my greatest accomplishment - delivering an entire human being with such care and comfort. For this, I will always be grateful to him and no words or review will ever be enough to describe how accomplished and empowered I felt after my delivery. I wish him and his team all the very best.

I can’t thank Mr Radley and the team at Harborne Hospital enough. It was my first experience of needing surgery. Mr Radley took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all my questions and gave me the confidence to proceed. I was in good hands with Mr Radley and I certainly recommend him to family and friends. All of the staff at Harborne Hospital including reception, nurses and catering services were marvellous and so welcoming. No one wants to be in hospital but if the needs be I would recommend Mr Radley and Harborne Hospital every time.

I was seeking a progress review as I was 6 weeks into a 12 week treatment plan and wanted to know that things were on track. I was offered a catch up appointment or a tel con review, either to occur within the hour but I agreed to send in some photo's via email. I received a call back from Mr Sidloff within 10 minutes of emailing him in which he was able to reassure me that all looked fine and there was no need for me to see him before the end of Jan 2026, unless I had a concern. So, 10 out of 10 for the speed and helpfulness of his response.

I highly recommend Dr. Farooq Maniyar, who is a super expert consultant neurologist. I received great treatment, including a successful Greater Occipital Nerve (GON) block, in the period leading up to my pregnancy. Now that I am pregnant, Dr. Maniyar has expertly tailored my ongoing treatment to ensure its safety and effectiveness. His approach is brilliant, working in perfect, complementary coordination with my NHS Obstetrician. It is deeply reassuring to have such an expert managing my condition during this critical time.

Mr Swamy is a kind, sincere and excellent surgeon, who performed stunning major back surgery over many hours. I felt very much looked after from my very first consultation right through until my discharge home. His ability and patience in answering our many questions was amazing, keeping me informed through many X-rays, MRIs etc exactly what had happened to my back and how he was going to rectify it. Very modest over any praise and i would recommend anyone with back problems to have a consultation with Mr Swamy

Every one I met at the Princess Grace Hospital was most pleasant and attentive from the reception staff to the nursing staff. All of the nurses I met from the initial welcome on the 5th floor on 19/11/25 to both Halima and Fernanda who looked after me during the night and day were all especially kind to me. there were many others but unfortunately I did not write down their names. I think it would be difficult to think of a better place to be a patient.

Although there is no easy explanation, other than my age, to what is causing my problems, I did feel that it wouldn't necessarily all be downhill from now on, and that I could return if it became necessary. I was very nervous about cataract surgery but was instantly put at ease by Dr Tint. He explained the procedure in detail and reassured me I was in safe hands. It was also important to me to get the follow up appointments post op and to get the professional feedback which he provided.. Dr Tint was recommended to me by a family friend and I' am so happy that I went with their recommondations.My experience was first class.

The staff were all extremely friendly, approachable and knowledgeable, being happy to answer all my questions and put me at my ease. The procedure was quite uncomfortable at times but the staff were on hand to reassure me and to warn me when to anticipate some discomfort. Once the procedure had been completed, the discomfort totally dissipated and l haven't felt any pain at all since - none whatsoever!
