The whole experience from my first call to book my initial consultation at Moorfields Private Eye Hospital to having my procedure was excellent and throughout, all of the hospital staff were friendly and very helpful. The consultation included vision tests and scans and lasted approximately 2 hours so, importantly, it was very thorough. Afterwards, the surgeon recommended the best procedure for me based on the results of the tests. Our eyes are very precious and I felt I was in very safe and competent hands. I therefore booked to have the procedure the following month. Prior to calling Moorfields Private Eye Hospital I phoned a well known private facility offering the same procedures and their consultation was only 40 minutes so far less thorough and also more expensive. My procedure, Refractive Lens Exchange, (RLE) was carried out by Mr Gore, the surgeon I had seen for the consultation, and it went like a dream. I went from wearing spectacles all the time to not needing them at all. My new lenses even corrected my astigmatism! In the evening following the procedure I was able to read my book without specs and the next day I could read a car number plate from 7 cars away, again without specs. Unbelievable! Moorfields Eye Hospital uses state of the art equipment in their procedures and their surgeons, anaesthetists and surgical teams are all highly qualified and experienced. I was told what to expect throughout the procedure and felt totally reassured. I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort during or after the procedure. My nurse Temi was efficient and lovely and gave me my pre op drops and guided me through the drops I would need to take in the weeks following the procedure. I’m so pleased I chose Moorfields Private Eye Hospital!

I had my diagnosis of ADHD back in May 2025, this was quite an emotional process for me. Luckily I had the support of my best friend and my mum. I then underwent my titration with the Kamran who was nothing short of amazing. He was patient and listened to my concerns and provided advice according to my needs. And ensure to keep track of all symptoms and the nature of their improvements over time and navigated this amazingly especially as I have high blood pressure. I have been supported with my shared care and this has been taken over by my GP. I am doing so much better with general everyday life. It is not an easy process by any means. It was and expensive and timely process. And there is a lot of back and forth at times due to automated messages which caused me some confusion at times. But you will always be answered via email or phone call if you have any concerns. Thank you so much to Shanice in Admin, Oliver who completed my assessment and Kamran my pharmacist. I am hoping once I have the finances avaliable I can return for support therapy to help me navigate through other aspects of having ADHD.

From start to finish I was given the best advice and information regarding my surgical procedure. This was explained to me in a very caring and understanding way. Mr Rao was very professional and courteous at the same time, I would highly recommed Mr Rao without ant hesitation. Mr Rao has a good back office support team, both pre and post surgery. The hospital staff at Spire Regency in Macclesfield were amazing. Especially his secretary Naomi Barlow. Naomi moved mountains for me and co ordination the pre op conultations and surgery dated to suit me, whilst making sure I was not delayed in any way that would negatiley impact my health. Even post surgery she has been amazing, I wish Mr Rao, Naomi and all the staff at Spire Regency in Macclesfield all the best and would like to thank them for the friendly service provided.

The reception staff on the ground floor are very professional and helpful A couple of the ladies on the 3rd floor are not so professional, it’s happened a few times during my visits over the past 6 months were they can be heard moaning between themselves about patients being sent up early from the ground floor reception, I can only imagine them moaning about me arriving 40mins early, hence why I opted to stay on the ground floor reception until nearer my time slot This doesn’t involve the lady who works directly for Ali, she is more than helpful

The staff at the centre are exceptional. Customer service is amazing and the consideration for the children is outstanding. Minimal waiting times avoid the children becoming overly fearful or stressed and procedures are handled with professionalism and empathy for the young patients involved. My son was petrified of needles before you did a blood test, but it was handled so well and compassionately that he now is pretty confident around injections/blood tests. Thank you

The level of service was excellent all round, with extremely friendly and sensitive staff across the practice. The level of care was amazing and would highly recommend. The only issue was a mix up on the X-ray which delayed the surgery but these things happen. It was handled professionally.
