Consultant and in care excellent. However I am sorry to say I was disappointed I had to speak to several people before you sent things by post as requested by myself several times and by consultant's secretary. I am happy to read a little on my laptop but at moment just can't read pages of text . I am having cataract surgery so that explains why. Also I am not familiar with doing things on line and just don't know how to do things. . I'm afraid I just cant complete questionnaires and go to My Spire as some e mails say. I am of the older generation and am just not familiar with doing things on line as people at work and it is worrying when you do not send things which you say must be read. I have tried to establish breakdown of costs for future procedure which are different to previously for exactly same but no one seems to be able to help. Sorry to be negative as consultant and everything while in the hospital were excellent.

On visiting consultant Subhajit Ghosh a prescription was given to the nurse to be ordered for my next appointment as it was something that was not kept in stock at OSD. I needed to check my diary to see if I could make this next appointment at OSD Healthcare in Hemel Hempstead to have the prescription or, see the consultant at Spire Hospital on another day. On checking my diary I found I could make it and I phoned and arranged an appointment with Subhajit Ghosh. Unfortunately, the prescription had not been ordered so when I turned up for my next appointment I was unable to have my treatment and I would have to see him again another time. I appreciate mix ups happen but thought OSD Healthcare should check their procedures in instances such as this, so that prescriptions are ordered once patients have confirmed they can make future appointments.

I was really please with the quality of service at Medneo Great Portlane Street and the speed at which I got my results. The medics seemed very professional and made me feel calm. I wish I'd used the service sooner as before getting a private MRI which I paid for myself I had had a number of physio treatments and exercise plans which may my injury worse due to them not knowing what was actually wrong. They were working blind as it were. And the NHS wouldn't put me on a waiting list for a MRI through them. I got a 3T scan which I believe shows a bit more than a 1.5 scanner which cast me £299. If you can afford it it might be the right choice for you. I would definitely go to these people to have a scan again if I develop another injury.

I was asked if I minded a student be present during my consultation, which was courteous and I had brought a relative to assist me as back surgery over 30 years ago and age are affecting me, particularly after a recent fall and fagility fracture. Dr Khafaga had thoroughly reviewed my notes, examined me then clearly explained where my pain was coming from. We discussed a plan to manage my pain and confirmed my expectations. I felt listened to and was able to ask questions while not feeling rushed. I have every faith the plan will work in the near future.

I had a very good experience, every one was professional, clear and friendly. The op went well and I was sent home the same day with some pain killers, which I only needed for 2 days. For the past 8 years, I had been suffering with indigestion, bloating and gas. But within 6 weeks of the operation I am completely free of discomfort. To be honest I had not made a connection between the re-occurrence of the hernia and the indigestion problems. I am delighted to say that at 70 I feel I have a new lease of life.

I waited longer than usual for my appointment but Mr Sharma was very apologetic. He examined and more importantly listened to me about my concerns. The follow up letter arrived promptly so action could be taken. He gave me a referral for an appointment to have steroid injection which I obtained within 24 hrs. Sadly the referral letter had a couple of mistakes but these were rectified very quickly. Very impressed with the process and we are all individuals so mistakes can happen.

He advised me that the local anaesthetic was the worst part (he was right) but what struck me was how swiftly (and painlessly) he adjusted BOTH big toe nails. I was pleasantly surprised to be walking out without any pain or complications after 30 minutes.
