I have been a patient of Dr. Urquhart for several years while working through the long-term effects of complex trauma, late diagnosed neurodivergence and profound life challenges. Through analytical psychotherapy and EMDR, he has helped me find steadiness during some of the most difficult periods of my life. His ability to understand what lies beneath the surface, to hear what isn’t said and recognise what others miss, has been central to my progress. Our work together has also helped me uncover the root causes of physical symptoms I had struggled with for most of my adult life, which no medical practitioner had ever been able to explain. Since addressing these issues in therapy, these episodes have significantly reduced. What I value most is his calm, steady presence and his deep understanding of human needs. Perhaps for the first time in my life, I'm beginning to meet myself, and learning to accept myself for who I am. The transition to Mourne Private Clinic has been seamless. The staff are warm, organised and professional, creating an environment that supports the therapeutic work beautifully. I would highly recommend Dr. Urquhart and the clinic to anyone seeking thoughtful, skilled and compassionate care. And, finally, there is no shame in therapy. On the outside I look like anyone else, living a seemingly ordinary life, but reaching out for support has been one of the most life-changing decisions I have ever made.

Usually feedback is of a negative nature but this is not one of those occasions. My experience was awesome for which I am super grateful. I have had a number of gastroscopies in my life so was nervous about what was going to happen. From the moment of my arrival I was greeted and made to feel comfortable straight away. The pre-procedure nurses were very clear, helpful and showed huge amounts of empathy about what was going to happen. When wheeled into the operating theatre I was introduced to all of the team who were to perform the procedure, all of whom had welcoming smiles and a reassuring tone (a tone that continued throughout the procedure). Dr Alan Watson was super clear, professional and again very comforting. I knew I was in safe hands. I just had a throat spray, no sedation, so was fully aware of what was going on. One action that was performed by a nurse during the procedure was to, comfortingly, rub my shoulder. I couldn’t see who it was, but such a small, seemingly insignificant action, was hugely important to me and kept me connected with humanity during the brutal fact that I had a scope down my throat. Post procedure, I was greeted with the warm smiles again and wheeled to the recovery area where again everyone was super attentive. I can’t say thank you enough for everything. The team were awesome.

This was my first visit to this lovely private GP practice. Lots of parking and ground floor facility was the first tick. Lovely big bright windows another tick creating brightness in what is usually not available in most other medical establishments. No sooner on the door I was greeted with smiles and courtesy from the lovely, friendly receptionists who welcomed me and offered me refreshments. Plenty of books and magazines if I wanted but didn't need them as I was taken at my exact appointment time, another big tick. My GP, Dr Fiona Moore came out to greet me and as I'd completed an online form with my reason for attending she was on the ball with what was required. She was so relaxed and friendly I felt like I'd known her for a long time and I felt at ease answering any questions. Having examined me she knew what the issue was and reassured me. Overall a brilliant experience.

Dr Jannoun has taken his time to understand my issues and also to examine me thoroughly, he took his time in our consultation to go through my worries and concerns but also ran several tests with me to understand my issues. He took on bored my worries and went about and beyond to accommodate. Dr Jannoun referred me for an MRI and I requested another MRI which he was happy to approve as I had concerns about my mid back. Dr Jannoun provided me with options based on my MRI and referred me to specialists and advised me on all the risks regarding procedures. I went for my procedure for an epidural and it is safe to say I was in safe hands. The Dr walked me through the process and was not as bad as I imagined. I am currently on my road to recovery but it is safe to say I wouldn’t have been here without Dr Jannoun.

I had a recent admission for a Discectomy under the care of Mr Manoj-Thomas. The entire experience from initial appointment to the actual surgery was just over 6 weeks. During this time I received regular communication to prepare me for my surgery. I was overwhelmed by the high standard of care I received as an in patient from the nursing and medical team. All professionals were courteous calm and maintained my dignity and trust during an anxious time and I am incredibly grateful. My follow up care is continuing and I was very impressed with the phone call I received 2 days post discharge to ensure I was continuing to recover. St Joseph’s epitomises the experience all patients should receive irrespective of whether they are private or NHS patients. Thank you so much.

Grace is the most professional, knowledgeable, caring, friendliest dentist we know. She always makes us feel comfortable and truly confident in everything she says and does, she NEVER over treats us, she keeps us so well looked after. The receptionists and all Grace’s team are all extremely friendly, so lovely, and are always very supportive and polite. Miss Choudhury is the most amazing, kind and wonderful doctor, surgeon and person. She has always made everything clear and listened to any family problems I have. My operation date was changed as Miss Choudhury completely understood my difficulties regarding family. I really cannot praise Miss Choudhry enough. I’ve always felt completely at ease with her and very comfortable. She always shows genuine concern and I really cannot express my self enough in praising her. She removed half of my thyroid and the scar is virtually invisible as she made the incision in one of my natural neck creases. I cannot value Miss Choudhury by giving 5 stars- she deserves many more as a doctor and person and for her approachability.

I can not recommend this clinic enough. My partner SA was one of the last steps of our fertility. When the results came in at first we were confused and full of anxiety (and went into a deep Google black pit) - the consultation with Suzanne gave us the biggest sigh of relief and reassurance we needed with a plan of action to help boost our chances. Don’t rely on the internet to amp your anxiety, book that consultation after your SA to speak to someone who is an expert and can give you the “medical hug” you need.

Mr Sinha gave me the confidence to have my knee replacement sooner rather than later. There was no option and physio was no longer helping. He explained that my recovery would be quicker as I was younger and in good health and would get more use out of it. It would give me a good quality of life and I would be able to keep up with my grandchildren ! He was right ! 4 weeks post op and I am walking without my crutches. He is a lovely caring person and an excellent surgeon.
