They are highly capable, attentive, and responsive — always available to help, even without an appointment. It was reassuring to be able to discuss my present AF journey with Dr Gary Wright and to discuss my medication etc with him .As l have been worried for some time now. which makes things worse. Weight loss was discussed which my own wonderful GP had already mentioned to me so this is my top priority now as l realise this is going to make a difference. I am so pleased that l was able to see Dr Wright he was easy to talk to and very down to earth and l feel that if l have any further fears that l could approach him and would feel that l would be getting an honest answer.

The reception staff were very warm and welcoming and brought me a cup of coffee Dr Dickenson was as usual very warm and welcoming.. She fully discussed the way forward and proceeded to inject the requested skin filler on my face By the following day when it had settled I was absolutely delighted with the results . I have visited the Coogan Clinic now for over 3 years since arriving in Eastbourne.. Dr Dickenson is wonderful —highly skilled and experienced and very reassuring .. I really appreciate all the improvements she has made on my face ,neck and hands . Thank you .

Staff all good, but I had been given inaccurate info before the appt and didn’t wear contact lenses for 2 weeks beforehand altho this was unnecessary as all measurements had already been taken. I then had to wait over an hour to be seen, longer than for the NHS appt. When I mentioned the long wait I was told this was because everyone had wanted a long discussion as they were private appts! Surely this is to be expected and the solution is not to overbook appts. I can’t comment yet on the procedure as haven’t had it yet.

He explained what to do and not to when preparing me for returning to work. It would be helpful for those suffering with Osteoarthritis, as I did for twelve years prior to surgery, to know how to manage their pain and daily life through the exercises; I wish I had known the specific exercises earlier than I did.

Arrived in good time but parking was appalling. No toilet in the temporary scanner, so had to find another in main building. Was a little out of breath in return and was sent straight in. Told to stay still, but was still breathing a little hard which wasn’t taken into account. The staff were pleasant but seemed to give up on me when I couldn’t hear instructions through the headphones (I had been told to wear ear protection buds underneath).
