I had to visit the Vermilion Endodontic Team after my dentist discovered that I needed specialist root canal treatment on not one, but two teeth. My initial reaction was sheer panic, especially since I'm not the biggest fan of going to the dentist. However, my overall experience at Vermilion was nothing short of amazing – so much so that I actually began looking forward to my visits! David Treagus and Megan were incredibly welcoming, and I could tell David immediately recognized the fear on my face. Both of them were quick to put me at ease. During my initial appointment, David took the time to walk me through the entire process. He explained exactly what he was going to do, the expected outcomes, and even the potential risks involved. When it came to my first root canal session, I was absolutely terrified – to say I was "bricking it" would be an understatement. However, David reassured me that we would go at a pace I was comfortable with, and that if I needed a break at any point, I just had to give him a wave. Root canal treatment is a lengthy process, so I had several two-hour appointments over the course of about 12 weeks. By my second appointment, because the experience had been so pleasant, I was, for the first time in my life, actually looking forward to going to the dentist. Fast forward to the end of my 12 weeks, and my teeth are looking and feeling great again! I can't thank David and Megan enough for the incredible work they did. I'm now able to smile again without any pain or discomfort. While I understand that visiting a specialist comes at a cost, I can honestly say I am so glad I chose Vermilion. The entire team, from the front of house to the specialists, is amazing and truly understanding. No matter what, they will make you feel calm, cared for, and well looked after.

I recently had a laparoscopy with Mr Okaro and I couldn't be more grateful for the care I received. From the very beginning Mr Okaro was very professional,kind and took the time to explain everything clearly which immediately put me at ease with his knowledge and experience . The procedure itself went very well. Mr Okaro not only removed my fallopian tube as I was referred for but also treated my endometriosis at the same time. I recently had an upper Blepharoplasty with Mr Nikkhah, and I couldn't be happier with both the service and the results. Mr Nikkhah is extremely professional, kind and explained the procedure and what to expect both during and after. I felt very comfortable and he was more than happy to answer any questions. I had the procedure done under local anaesthetic, I experienced no pain or discomfort during the procedure at all. I had some swelling and bruising post-op, the bruising was gone after 7 days, most of the swelling gone after 10 days. I had no pain whatsoever, just mild discomfort for the first few days. This was a procedure I had wanted done for a very long time as although I am very slim, I had excessive skin hanging over my eyes which really bothered me and was beginning to affect my eyesight. I would recommend anyone considering this procedure to consult Mr Nikkhah in the first instance.

I’ve had several operations and met a lot of surgeons. Mr Mohammed is in a different league. From the first appointment I felt in good hands, and ever since I’ve had the utmost respect for him. So when my dad needed surgery, I knew there was no one else I wanted involved in his care. He didn’t have to take my dad’s case on, but he did, despite the obstacles, and went above and beyond to help us. As expected, my dad’s TURP couldn’t have gone better. He was out of hospital within 48 hours and already seeing an improvement in his quality of life. My father can now spend his remaining time with us comfortable and without pain, which is what I’d been fighting for, for a very long time. Without Mr Mohammed, that wouldn’t have been possible. I’ll never be able to thank him enough.

Dr Minas is an excellent and exceptionally knowledgeable professional. He is able to combine a very compassionate bedside manner with this expert knowledge. You can tell he thinks deeply about patient questions and takes great to ensure the patient is helped as much as possible to navigate complexity. I didn't end up undergoing treatment with him laparoscopically, as my issue requires a different approach, but I would have been very confident had I needed to do so. He also took multiple times to call me between appointments where I had questions which was so greatly appreciated, and really helped calm my nerves. Thank you Dr Minas, your time was worth so much to me!

Admin team are really friendly and very helpful with any questions. They are also very quick to respond to emails which is amazing. Dr Chris Airey is brilliant, he goes through every blood marker and explains everything clearly. I transferred to this clinic from Optimale as the service and protocol I was on didn’t feel very optimal for me. In my opinion, UrbanTRT is way better and I now understand what truly personalised TRT looks like. The difference in how I feel, the communication, and the level of detail they go into has been top quality.

Dr Ajay Mathew Abraham

Dr. Abraham immediately put me at ease and listened carefully and was able to quickly read and digest my GP ‘s personal referral letter and associated blood test results/ previous consultation notes/ mri scan results etc. He was thorough in his examination and clearly explained his thought processes in reaching his diagnosis. He then went on to suggest a possible treatment plan which he would share with my GP and gave advice on exercise and lifestyle choices. He was very generous with his time.

The Nuffield Hospital, Glasgow has an excellent team of nursing staff , physiotherapist and not forgetting the kitchen crew who served delicious nutritious meals with great menu choice. The nursing staff were there day and night to attend to any needs with care and attention. Physiotherapist were very knowledgeable in what to do, and more importantly what not to do, encouraging you with your exercise plan and pushing your boundaries to a speedier recovery.

Mr Subair was absolutely fantastic during the birth of our son. I felt really supported and comfortable throughout, even when the birth had to deviate from my initial plan. He explained things so well and was such a positive and encouraging presence during my vaginal delivery. His humour and coaching helped me a lot - I am so glad he was there! He was also very thorough post-birth and attentive in the aftercare, encouraging me to manage my pain.

Mr Sharma was amazing and took the best care of my mum. He removed a suspected BCC (thankfully turned out to be a cyst) and a smaller cyst. He took the time making sure she was ok before, during and after her procedure. He always took time to make sure everything was explained, understood and was happy to answer any questions asked. Couldn’t recommend Mr Sharma enough, he is amazing.

I was recommended to go to Dr Alam Hannan by a consultant in the Royal Free for my father, he was very kind and considerate, he explained everything in a easy to understand format, very knowledgeable, came across as very pleasant and understandable, took the time to phone and explain the situations and didn't charge for any follow up conversations. Would definitely recommend!
