I attended Mr Peter's surgery at Spire over 12 months back to discuss hip pain and options. Following xrays and confirmation of osteoarthritis in both, he was extremely helpful and clear as regards my (limited) options for managing the pain or resolving through hip replacement. As someone with 2 young kids and relatively young at 51, I was worried about surgery but his calm and supportive manner convinced me and I felt I would be in very safe hands. I underwent the surgery on my left hip in early August and was fully back on my feet n no time. The support, quality of care and professionalism of Mr Peter (as well as all the staff at Spire) was amazing and I would recommend to anyone suffering similar pain. I recently visited dr chitnis with a wrist injury that had been ongoing since February this year. He was very professional and was able to tell me my MRI results promptly and answer all questions that I had. He then got me booked in for surgery, he explained in great detail which procedures I would be having and what to expect. I was very nervous for the surgery but he was quick to put my mind at ease. I’ve since seen him at a few follow up appointments for dressing/stitch removal and then also to check the mobility of my wrist after surgery. He gave me physio/exercise and scar massage instructions, explaining to me very clearly what to do and what to expect at each stage of my recovery. I felt extremely at ease at all appointments and am very grateful he was able to rectify my injury.

His focus is not only on removing the cancer but also on achieving the best possible long-term quality of life for his patients. Thanks to his outstanding surgical skill and expertise, my operation was a complete success: the cancer was entirely removed with clear margins, and I have experienced no incontinence and no impairment of sexual function. I cannot recommend or thank Mr Abou-Chedid highly enough.

I was seen by Dr Heggy and a lovely staff nurse Charlotte. Dr Heggy was fantastic he actually listened to me. He listened to exactly how I was and had been feeling. I'd been told by another Dr that there was nothing that could be done so I had to see someone for pain management. I'm in pain everyday and just wanted a resolution or at least pin point what could be wrong. Dr Heggy really made me feel heard and suggested other things before we gave up and just give me medication for my pain. Nurse Charlotte was fantastic. While Dr Heggy was looking things up and trying to find other options Charlotte spoke to me like an actual human. So thank you to Dr Heggy and nurse Charlotte for your time and patience with me. It's very much appreciated

I found Dr Enwere’s approach to my mother’s wellbeing to be sensitive, measured and conscientious. At the end of the consultation I had a clear understanding of the protocol and what the next steps will be in the my mother’s health management.

Mr Wong is an excellent gynaecologist. He listens, asks the right questions, and explains every step in clear language. You feel comfortable the moment you walk in because he treats you with respect and patience. He does not rush you. He checks that you understand your options. He makes difficult appointments feel manageable. My visits with other gynaecologists felt stressful, but he changed that for me. I trust his care and recommend him to anyone who wants a calm and supportive experience

My experience once in the practice was very good. Staff friendly and professional. What I found very stressful beforehand was locating the property. The letter that I received from the NHS gave an address of One Medical House which I could not find on any signage. I drove around for 10 mins and was then worried that I would miss my appointment. The letter should be updated to state OSD Healthcare.

Excellent consultant. Explains exactly what will happen, with possibly issues & their likelihood. Loved that he had my history online so that he could zoom in for details.. He also checked his diary online so that we could book the procedure immediately. One issue with the hospital was the difficulty parking. Perhaps if the hospital marked the parking spaces, they could get more cars in.
