I recently had a laparoscopy with Mr Okaro and I couldn't be more grateful for the care I received. From the very beginning Mr Okaro was very professional,kind and took the time to explain everything clearly which immediately put me at ease with his knowledge and experience . The procedure itself went very well. Mr Okaro not only removed my fallopian tube as I was referred for but also treated my endometriosis at the same time. After the surgery he was patient and happy to answer any questions which I truly appreciate. I feel very fortunate to have been under his care and I would happily return to him for any future gynae concerns. I would highly recommend Mr Okaro to friends and family without a doubt. I also want to mention Justina who was my first point of contact before I made the decision to see Mr Okaro. Justina gave me the reassurance and explained everything I needed to know. Mr Jowett was most welcoming from the start, and at great pains to put me at ease. He quickly gained my confidence. Mr Jowett carried out the most thorough examination of both my feet and ankles, explaining throughout his findings and prognosis of what options were available once left knee replacement has been carried out - he considered the left ankle sufficiently aligned with left knee to allow surgery to go ahead asap. Discussions therefore moved on to major problems with the right foot and ankle. Whilst surgery is possible, it is complicated and there are major considerations to address. Ultimately, it was decided to address these once I had recovered from the knee surgery. I have been left feeling Mr Jowett is a surgeon who could not only carry out the relevant surgery (other surgeons have desisted), but also gives one the confidence of going down an unknown path.

Pointed me to the websites recommended by Department of Health / Foreign affairs for most up to date advice and important steps I can take as a traveller (hand washing, mosquito nets etc). The lady I encountered on Reception on my recent visit went out of her way to make pleasant conversation, despite being busy. My son who usually accompanies me normally finds disabled parking which he requires.
