ENT Surgeon Mr Natesh is absolutely fantastic!!! Honestly I cannot put into words how incredible he is at his job. He is a superb ent surgeon who has extensive knowledge in his area of ears nose and throat neck head etc. I am so glad I came across Mr Natesh he is the best no1 ent surgeon. From consultations to pre op to post op he answered all my questions and listened and was kind and patient throughout even when I asked a million questions as im an anxious person. I had fess endoscopic Sinus surgery and chose Mr Natesh because as soon as I had my consultation with him I trusted his expertise and knowledge and got a good feeling about him. I self funded and it was worth it to ensure I got Mr Natesh. I had my follow up and even before my op and after he still contacted me to answer questions that I continously had. He had no judgement and was understanding he whole time. Even when I was scared to do the sinus rinses he reassured me throughout. He explained things clearly so I understood any results and biopsy I got and he never rushed. He took his time and explained everything to me and answered everything I asked. Im so glad I chose to have surgery with Mr Natesh he made me feel reassured and confident. 5*+++ I highly recommend Mr Natesh and hes the only ENT surgeon I will visit if I ever need to again. I have recently had a hysterectomy performed by Professor Bunkheila. The operation was a great success and I cannot thank the Professor enough for his compassion and care from my initial appointment through to the post op consultation. Professor Bunkheila was the nicest gentleman to deal with, listened to all my concerns and was reassuring and professional when discussing all the pros and cons to having such a procedure. His kind, caring manner made me feel so comfortable and after many years of extreme pain and debilitating medical conditions, I felt finally that someone was actually listening to me and could make a difference. I was very poorly at my initial consultation and now feel 100% recovered and it has been truly life changing. Professor Bunkheila and his medical team of anaesthetists were wonderful on the two occasions of my surgery as I was very nervous, but both times they were so reassuring. All the staff were very kind and efficient, my personal ward room was clean and the catering was very good. I would also like to thank a particular gentleman called Anil who performed my pre operative assessment blood tests, I am very needle phobic and was terrified but he ensured that it was done swiftly and with such kindness towards me, I was so grateful.

I actually did not get to use the facilities in the private wing of Charing Cross Hospital, as I was seen in neurophysiology on level three of the NHS departments. The only time I had to go up to the 15th floor was to get two forms, stamped and provide my pre-authorisation number that meant getting in a crowded lift and riding up to the 15th floor, which took a very long time as the lift stopped on nearly every floor. Then I had to go back down to level three for tests. It was actually quite stressful for someone with my health conditions to do this, and to be expected to do this administration as the patient!. The waiting area in the NHS department was not relaxing, it was very hot, no natural light was had limited/poor ventilation and the receptionist was quite rude. The medical staff were more polite. When I pay for private healthcare, I prefer to stay in the private department than in the crowded NHS areas. I gather on this occasion the tests were not available in the private wing, but perhaps another hospital where the consultant worked would’ve been able to accommodate. I was not informed that the tests would be in the NHS department.

I had a fantastic experience with Mr. Osama Aweid following a skiing accident last year in which I tore my ACL and damaged my meniscus. From my very first consultation at the Fortius Clinic in London, Mr. Aweid was incredibly approachable, reassuring, and clear. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly — not only how the surgery would be performed, but also what to expect throughout the recovery process. This helped set very clear expectations from the start and made me feel completely at ease and confident in his care. The operation went extremely well, and I have since made a great recovery. I am still doing some physiotherapy, but my knee feels strong and stable, and the scarring is excellent. I am really grateful for the care, professionalism, and support Mr. Aweid provided throughout the whole process, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing knee surgery.

My care at this clinic has been outstanding and I would recommend it to anyone needing expert psychiatric support for complex trauma. The service is psychiatry-led, with the consultant coordinating treatment plans and supervising input from psychology, occupational therapy, group therapy and trauma modalities including EMDR, DBT, CBT and embodied psychotherapy. This ensured that care was coherent rather than fragmented. I initially attended four in-person sessions per week and have now safely transitioned to monthly. The team have specialist expertise in workplace bullying, institutional power dynamics and identity-related trauma, which is unusual to find. The level of understanding and clinical leadership has made a meaningful difference to my recovery, and I could not recommend the service more highly.

I was made to wait 6 months for my cataract operations because I had a cardioversion. This is a short sedation rather than a general anaesthetic. I have been given no clinical explanations for this. I am in perfect health despite my age. I understand that a normal waiting time at other hospitals is 6 weeks with good recovery after a major operation. I suspect there are no clinical reasons, just a bureaucratic hesitation to take the slightest risk. I wonder how many patients discover that “Well soon” should be retitled “Well sometime”. Your bureaucratic incompetence is illustrated by your list of specialists which does not include the name of my surgeon, your lead ophthalmologist Dr Marzena Raszewska. It is her recorded ability that persuaded me to wait the 6 months rather than seek an alternative.

I have been under Mr Charalamous's care for around 3 years. I have always found him to be easy to talk to & he explains things in a way i can understand. I had a botched knee replacement at Kim's in Maidstone which was very painful. After a few meetings to discuss what could be done we agreed a procedure. I have to say i am over the moon with the results. The recovery time was extremely short, after the insert replacement i was up & walking with no sticks inside 2 weeks. The waiting area had few chairs and not enough for the people waiting. The people around there that gave me paperwork and told me where to wait, were polite and helpful. The appointment with the consultant was really distressing, I couldn't ask questions and didn't discussed with me the plan, just set up steps without getting me involved on her treatment plan. This experience was very negative from what I expected when you go to a professional asking for advice and reviewing if your body is working well. This was my second cataract operation on my left eye having had a very successful cataract removal and lenses replacement on my right eye performed by Mr Sian a couple of months earlier at Musgrove Park. Mr Sian’s skills , patience and care are exemplary. The outcome hss exceeded all my expectations. For information I initially saw Mr Sian at the Nuffield and had my resulting procedures at Musgrove Park due to the complexity of both eyes. My comments apply mainly to Musgrove although are also applicable to treatment received by Mr Sian at the Nuffield Taunton.

I attended Thornbury Hospital for a routine colonoscopy. My admission was timely informed and completed by the extremely friendly nursing staff. My procedure was performed by Prof Steven Brown, a very calm, friendly and thoroughly lovely man. I opted for sedation yet I was still aware of my surroundings and could watch the monitor screen and follow the procedure throughout which I always find quite fascinating. The procedure took around 35 minutes and after a relatively short period of recovery I was allowed home.

Very happy to see Miss Fraser 6 weeks after my fascial sling which has completely stopped my stress incontinence .
