Last year, I decided to see Mr Holland after experiencing several years of severe symptoms of what I thought the time was endometriosis or PCOS. I was quickly put ease when Mr. Holland was talking through various symptoms and next step plans, including a helpful referral for a urologist and scans. I didn’t feel pushed to go through a certain route and was carefully provided with all the risks that came with surgery - I was also listened to and that made me feel seen considering my symptoms. However, my surgery experience with Mr Holland and his team was absolutely exemplary from start to finish before my operation. I had various tests and one test came back. That wasn’t completely accurate so they encouraged me to come in and sort this out rather than leave it, on the day of surgery I always carefully walked through what was going to happen I had nurse advice and the care at the hospital that I received was 10 out of 10. Post surgery I wasn’t pushed out the door and was encouraged to begin my rehab firewalking and the nurse was close to be monitoring me. I wasn’t just left and following up I was I had regular checks and even post three months after surgery I had a consultation and was advised of appropriate next steps. I appreciate how scary this situation can be for young women, but I was always put it ease and no requests or question was too silly or small, now almost 8 months per surgery I feel like I totally new woman and that is all thanks to Mr Holland.

Walking into Spire hospital at Manchester, I was greeted by really good reception staff who listened to what I said and then made it happen. It felt very well organised. Into the wards/clinics for treatment, I was again greeted by friendly, confident staff who quickly put me at ease and explained what was to be carried out. All of my tests/treatments were carried out very professionally, on time and with care and respect. I felt comletly at ease throughtout. 5 Stars in every respexct for the clinical staff and Spire Manchester. Bad Experiencies. Dealing with the Spire Online/ Phone back office and Booking System. It was diabolical in all aspects. It appeared to be very dis-jointed and not able to pass information on internally nor take notice of what I told them. I received meaningless paperwork that bore little resemblance to what was to be done and its timeline. The night before treatment, around 8 p.m., I even received an email that told me all my procedures/ tests were to be carried out in Liverpool, not Manchester. Very poor level communications from Spire admin. very bad experience for me.

Attended for a blood test. I’ve had multiple bad experiences with blood tests over the years. This is primarily because I have very small and narrow veins which disappear with the touch of a needle..☹️ I find the whole experience extremely painful and distressing … I explained all of this to Debbie, the wonderful and kind nurse who attended me. She was brilliant! Totally put me at ease and was incredibly supportive and gentle. I was definitely a challenge for her as my veins were completely uncooperative per usual. But she took her time and used the smallest needle possible to minimise any discomfort. She succeeded in the end and managed to get enough blood for a full blood count!! Miraculous! I am so very grateful to Debbie for turning a potentially very upsetting and negative experience into a positive outcome. She has helped me to regain a little more confidence in having my blood taken again. Thank you Debbie! 😊

I normally don’t write reviews, I’m someone who feels that if you do your job well, there is no need. However I have just been been signed off for my second eye cataract surgery and would like to thank all those involved in bringing this about. It was a long haul as my second eye was so bad after an accident back in my teens that a lens had to be made specially to correct my vision. It took about six weeks to make, but I was kept informed of progress regularly. I have nothing but praise for the people who saw me throughout. From the security guys, reception and medical team, to the optometrists, the surgeon and of course Hannah. As my point of contact, Hannah was there to answer my questions and kept me up to date with progress. Once again thanks one and all. In the nicest possible way, I hope I don’t see you again for a long, long time.

The treatment I received at the Matrix Eye Clinic was excellent from both Mr Guy Smith and his first class team. The results from the cataract operation in both eyes is sensational. My eyesight is significantly improved, the length, the accuracy and the intensity of the colour are all enhanced. I am absolutely delighted. Before I had the operation I was considering exchanging our television for a new model because I was having difficulty in reading small print and the scene was blurred. Now I can enjoy watching. Amazing! I have no hesitation in recommending Matrix Eye Clinic.

Mr Jones was kind, genial, professional and as gentle as he could be with the procedure. He chatted to me during the procedure , telling me about the scan that was showing the fluid on/ around my knee and was happy to answer my question about what the fluid was that he was removing etc. He told me that I’d get a call from him in a few months time to check how I’m getting on rather than a face to face follow up. What an excellent man !

I found the GP we visited to be welcoming and friendly, he was very informative and honest with things however I found the reception staff to be the opposite they were not very welcoming and I felt that they were closed of from any type of communication or request I did not like that they were so miserable no smiles just blank I didn't like the experience or the feeling I felt when walking into the practise but the doctor was great.

My GP sent referral for RTN in January 2025. According to their announcement on the ADHD website, the waiting time was 8-9 weeks. Unfortunately, I was waiting couple of months. My assessment was done in October and on my outcome appointment, which was a year after, the 3rd doctor was involved a d decided to do one more assessment. Without prior arrangement or agreement. Poor customer service, dishonest administration.

Ms Khandwala performed tear duct surgery on my eye and it has changed my life. No more constant eye watering and I can finally throw away the tissues I had to always be carrying. I can wear makeup again without it washing away! The recovery was quick and I have the tiniest scar which is hardly visible. Ma Khandwala was so reassuring and I was kept informed at every stage. Her secretaries were lovely too.

Mr Shalan and his assistant Jo put me at ease and explained what was going to happen before and during the procedure. I received after care also A receptionist was able to come in as she wanted to gain some experience of the procedure. She was lovely and chatted to me the whole time to keep my mind of it.
