I had my upper Bleph done with Dr Huw last week and I can’t even explain how much better the experience was than I had imagined. I was expecting it to be a lot more traumatic procedure wise, and to have really bad bruising etc judging from the other peoples I’d seen online! From start to finish Huw was so professional but just very down to earth and honest. I got really good vibes from the very first consultation, I always go on my gut feeling and knew he was the person I wanted to do my surgery. I like that he prefers to do a more natural enhancement than completely change your look! I didnt feel any pain throughout the surgery and felt very comfortable from start to finish, my results I am so so happy with! I didn’t bruise or look how I imagined, I know it’s down to skin type /the individual etc but I’m sure the majority of it is down to the surgeon which shows how good Dr Hew is at his job. I can’t recommend him enough and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to have this treatment done. I feel so much more confident too. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Great! Excellent overall experience. Facilities in general good, room, cleanliness, staff and procedure. I really am a fan, and if necessity arises would return with a lot of confidence that things would go well. Two small items of feedback : Negative - situation of the centre is not ideal and some patients get a view of a dingy disused courtyard . This is a minor point ! Food could be a little more interesting. Positive - its both reassuring and positive that the whole experience, especially the excellent staff, are so personal. The patient feels that care is tailored specifically to them. Little danger of removing the wrong leg! Warm human interchanges throughout, which is very, very good!

Miss Sascha Dua is a great professional—respectful, knowledgeable, and caring. I was very scared to be in a breast cancer unit for the very first time, but she was wonderful at breaking the ice and making me feel comfortable. She was attentive and taught me how to properly perform self-examinations, which made me realise I had always been doing them incorrectly. Her team is also amazing and very caring. They sent me letters in advance introducing the team and explaining in detail how the process works, which was incredibly helpful. My husband and I were very happy with the whole process. I truly wish all doctors’ appointments were this supportive.

My overall experience at the clinic was exceptional. When I first booked my appointment it was scheduled for a week later, but I asked whether there might be any cancellations before then. The team were incredibly helpful and thoughtful — they called me back and arranged for me to be seen the very same day. From start to finish, the service was efficient, compassionate, and reassuring. At what was a very anxious time for me, everyone I dealt with was kind, responsive, and professional. The waiting area had few chairs and not enough for the people waiting. The people around there that gave me paperwork and told me where to wait, were polite and helpful. The appointment with the consultant was really distressing, I couldn't ask questions and didn't discussed with me the plan, just set up steps without getting me involved on her treatment plan. This experience was very negative from what I expected when you go to a professional asking for advice and reviewing if your body is working well. When undertaking base line assessment prior to the procedure, this was conducted in the reception area. During this taking place, 3 other people arrived and seated themselves in the reception area. We were unclear if they were members of the public, staff or other appointments. They were not introduced to us as observers for my treatment. The introduction didn't occur until Prof Zveorov arrived, then introductions were made and my family was made aware they were from other institutions to learn and observe. The support and treatment were excellent.

My surgeon Mr David O’Reilly was absolutely brilliant talked me through everything what could happen, the procedure and didn’t leave no details out which made me calm and confident I was in safe hands. My surgeon came to see me before the operation checked I was ok and also came to see me after the operation which I was very grateful for as he talked me through everything that he had done. I would 100% recommend him to anyone needing the surgery I had done.

Dr Georgiou was extremely kind and generous with his time, despite this being a second-opinion consultation. My uncle was diagnosed with advanced, stage IV malignancy, and Dr Georgiou approached the case with seriousness and care, without being dismissive or overlooking treatment options. He supported the appropriate treatment plan, and after four cycles my uncle is doing remarkably well. Extremely happy with the service, care and everyone's attentiveness at the Cleveland Clinic. My initial consultation was with Dr Chetan Bhan.
