would like to make a complaint following an IPL treatment I had on 21/01/26. I had a consultation with Dr Branka and a subsequent telephone conversation with Krupa. I repeatedly asked this whether was risk of my symptoms being exacerbated by the treatment. I was repeatedly reassured that this would not happen. I had email exchanges with Krupa where she assured me repeatedly that the greatest reaction that I would get would be mild reddening around the eye lid for 30 mins. I had explained that I had a job interview the following day and was advised that would not be any reaction or issue. I was reassured both by email and in person on the day. My skin had a significant reaction to the procedure. The possibility of such a reaction to such a procedure had never been explained or even suggested. On meeting Dr Branka post procedure, she told me that my eyes weren’t dry, and in fact were significantly better. She said the tear break up was 7 seconds and that there had been an improvement, however I would like a second opinion on this, as they feel dryer and are visibly red, whereas they were not immediately beforehand. The visibly look and feel much worse than prior to the procedure. I completely feel like I’m being fobbed off. When I said to Dr Branka that I was not made aware of the risks she cheerfully old me that I signed the consent form and that of course there is the possibility of this reaction particularly with my very think skin. I was completely unaware that I had thin skin or that there could have been such a complication which would exacerbate my skin and eye problems. I explained that had a risk of this IPL been ‘worsening of dry eye symptoms, worsening of ocular rosacea/ rosacea’ I would have NEVER had the procedure. Dr Branka just said of course there was a risk and told me it happens in those people with rosacea. This had NEVER been mentioned in the consultation prior to the procedure. My eyes were not significantly bothersome prior to the treatment, I did it as a preventative to improve the gland and to avoid the dry eye disease progressing. When I asked Dr Branka what next in terms of how I manage this now worse situation she said that I can only use cotton flannels and saline as I am reactive to most things. She has told me I need to pay privately for a dermatologist for advice. This is not only causing me health problems but costing me money to resolve this. I have already spent over £700 for the consultation with dr Branka and the procedure! I am left anxious, distressed and upset by this experience and the ongoing problems. It has caused further issues with my skin. The rosacea was not posing a problem prior to the IPL and while I had been prescribed Soolantra and Azealic acid I had not needed to take them as I was not experiencing a flare up. I do not know where to go now for help, advice or to resolve this issue. I am really upset as my eyes and skin have worsened as a result and I am left alone to deal with it or pay out for help to try to correct it. Again, to reiterate, I would never have had IPL if I had known there was any risk of worsening symptoms. This was never explained, even when I explicitly asked initially. Dr Branka from from the outset said I was a good candidate but I needed to check with a dermatologist due to family skin cancer. I had checked this and the dermatologist said it would not be a problem from the perspective of skin cancer. I would like another opinion. I would like advice treatment and next steps. Not from dr Branka as all faith has gone.

My recent visit was 27th Jan 26 for an Annual Review and my request to consider any further testing considered appropriate. Professor Leyva-Leon was timely with the appointment as usually the case. The Professor knows my case well after a number of years consulting and treatment for atherosclerosis and related aspects having diagnosed me as asymptomatic. As I understand it I am doing well and present as fit with regular exercise. We discussed any further testing and the Professor is to carry out an echo update. In considering anything else consideration was to be given as to whether a profusion test would be constructive or not. The Professor always explains his thinking and has an excellent patient manner which I value. As a none - medic I rely on his expertise. Based on my experiences over a number of years I have felt confident to recommend his services to colleagues.

I can’t recommend Dr Emily Cary highly enough. She has been absolutely amazing in supporting me through the early stages of perimenopause. From our very first appointment, she made me feel listened to, understood, and reassured during what can be a confusing and overwhelming time. Her knowledge, calm approach, and clear explanations helped me make sense of my symptoms and feel confident about the next steps. She took the time to tailor my care to me as an individual, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Thanks to her support and guidance, I feel far more informed, supported, and positive about managing this transition. I’m incredibly grateful for her care and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any woman at the start of their menopause journey.

Dr Coker always presents in a professional yet approachable manner. She is very clear in explaining any tests results; her treatment plan; and any further investigations she thinks should be undertaken. The language she uses is accessible. She is receptive to answering any questions I might have. She promptly keeps my general practitioner informed of my current treatment, to ensure my medical care is managed holistically. She is an active listener and always allows me time to explain my current symptoms etc. In her professional manner, her approachability and her persistency in investigating my symptoms, I have confidence that I am in good hands.

Mr Minas performed an elective hysterectomy for me due to excessive fibroids and bleeding post menopause. He is very professional and obviously highly knowledgeable and extremely experienced. I felt like I trusted his advice. Everything went according to plan - even though the operation was quite difficult. I am now recovering very well and two weeks later I'm glad I went ahead with the procedure and am looking forward to being able to wear white trousers and sit on cream sofas without worrying any more! :-)

The consultant was very reassuring throughout. The teams, medical and physio, came across as calm, competent and professional. The nurses and reception staff at the hospital were friendly, calm and professional not just to me, the patient, but to my wife as well. Recovery after the procedure was less daunting than I feared it would be, the pain experienced was less than I feared it might be, and the rehab process has been every bit as easy as I was told it might be. So, thank you to everybody concerned.

Dr Chris had us booked in for an appointment within a matter of days, and couldn’t have been more helpful and comforting for my Mum. No fuss, really straightforward to deal with, and incredibly knowledgeable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend CAS Medical.

I got from Mr. Almashan very clear diagnosis, communication, great value for money, 1st class service. My Peyronie’s disease plaque has reduced in size by 40 degrees , which meant I can now have sex with my wife , better erections & relationship. The PD360 protocol with injections and shockwave and EMDA made significant improvements. I highly recommended

Time with Mr Nicholls...excellent. However looking back I suspect that wound attention ( especially first special bleeding ) could have been much better had wound been cleaned and re bandaged then as opposed to over bandaging. I feel this would have led to avoiding the lengthly time needed to get recovery back on track during many extra visits.
