About Mr Richard Price
Mr Richard Price is a senior Consultant Plastic Surgeon who has been practising at consultant level since 2007. His clinical work spans facial reconstruction, facial palsy (including Bell’s palsy), facial aesthetic surgery, skin cancer and mole removal, breast surgery, and abdominoplasty. He also has a significant non-surgical aesthetics practice, including treatments such as wrinkle-relaxing injections, dermal fillers, and skin rejuvenation procedures.
He completed formal cosmetic certification with the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2021. He is a member of BAAPS, BAPRAS, and the American Society of Plastic Surgery, and is listed on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. In addition to his clinical practice, he has been involved in surgical education and has served on Royal College committees focused on training the next generation of plastic surgeons.
Mr Price works across both NHS and private sectors, including at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge and Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital. Within the NHS, he specialises particularly in skin cancer surgery and facial reconstruction and has held a lead role in this area. His training included plastic surgery posts in Manchester and Preston, followed by international fellowships in Melbourne and Adelaide focusing on microsurgery, head and neck reconstruction, and facial reconstruction. He also completed structured aesthetic surgical training across centres in Chester, Manchester, and Liverpool, working alongside leading aesthetic surgeons in the UK.
He has a strong interest in clinical governance and patient safety and serves as an Associate Medical Director within Spire Healthcare, overseeing clinical governance across multiple hospitals in the South East of England. Alongside his clinical and leadership roles, he is also involved in medico-legal work, particularly in cases relating to personal injury and medical negligence.

Very happy with final appointment for my procedure, very thorough and professional
The new check in procedure was much better with a lovely lady on the check in reception. Arrived 20 minutes early was was seen within 5 minutes of waiting so was very impressed with that. Mr Price was very good at explaining everything and was very pleasant and friendly to speak to.

Thank you for the feedback. If the wait is too long please contact my secretary and we can look at sooner dates. However please be reassured that a basal cell carcinoma grows very slowly (years) and there is no evidence that a four-week wait has any adverse effect.
I had a tummy tuck and muscle repair with Mr Price. I have never had surgery before or put to sleep, so this was a big thing for me. Mr Price went through everything with me reassuring me all the way through. I am 4 weeks post opp and cannot believe how good I look and have healed. Thank you Mr price and thank you for holding my hand whilst going to sleep. Highly recommend.

Kept fully informed of procedure & what was happening before, during & after. Mr Price was professional, affable, approachable, very easy to talk to & allayed my fears.
Just been to my one week post-op appointment to have stitches removed from my eyelids. Very smooth and quick procedure, very carefully done and no pain. Good advice given to aid recovery and get back to normal. Bruising is fading quickly and my eyes feel a lot more comfortable. I’m very happy with the results. Thank you.
