A Life-Changing Experience – Thank You My wife is 62 years old and has battled alcoholism for 27 years. She had been to rehab three times before, but this time was different. After losing her mother – her last remaining close relative – she turned to alcohol once again, retreating from the world in her grief. As a family, we were at breaking point. In a desperate effort to keep a promise to her late mother, I kept her at home until the funeral so she could attend sober. It was one of the hardest challenges I’ve ever faced, but I managed it. Sadly, after the funeral, the drinking returned and we lost her to the bottle once more. When a small inheritance came through, I decided to try again. From the very first conversation, they understood exactly what we were going through. They acted quickly, knowing how critical timing is — when an addict asks for help, you must act immediately before the addiction takes over again. Addiction is not just the addict’s disease — it affects the whole family. They supported all of us, not just my wife. It’s now been four months, and I see a change in her I have never seen before. She is beginning to embrace sobriety in a genuine, lasting way. She speaks openly when she feels low or has a difficult day, instead of turning to the bottle. That openness has been life-changing for the whole family. I will always be grateful for their understanding, dedication, and wisdom. They didn’t just help my wife — they helped give our family hope again.

I have been receiving acupuncture treatment to help control my high blood pressure for about three months. I have been very pleased with the effectiveness. The very first treatment reduced my diastolic BP by 7 points. Monitoring my BP daily shows it is reduced to a very acceptable level, the systolic has lowered as well and overall the readings are steady. This has meant I have been able to reduce the amount of medication I have to take. For me having acupuncture every three weeks to maintain the lower BP is a far preferable option to taking lots of medicines. Katie is calm and professional. Her treatment room is a light and airy sanctuary in which to be treated. I strongly recommend her services.

I have been very disappointed from the overall experience. I schedulled appointment with neurorologist Dr Bhattacharjee. The follow up appointment was very hard to scedule. His assistant told me that he would be available in 4 weeks for a follow up call without giving me specific appointment. She refused to see him earlier while I was stressed to receive feedback from MRI. She had been very confusing and nor professional and accurate in communication. I asked to download the images which have been very cimplicated . they are in a difficult format not supported by every computer and ofcourse not easy to send them to third parties.
