After arriving at my appt on time 9.30am after accidentally being at the wrong location and rushing to not be late, 5mins later I hear the receptionist greeting the doctor I am supposed to be seeing. I wait a further 10mins to be called. This was unprofessional in my opinion. You could usually blame traffic, but the appointment being during a week of schools being off that cannot be an excuse imo. My experience of investigating my pain has been shocking. I felt like I was given a common speech given to insurance clients by Dr Sloan, being very vague about my scan results when I am working with my own physio and coaches who require more detail. He then referred me to Dr Stafford. Assuming I was going in for a consult I come out with a diagnosis it takes people 5-10 years to be diagnosed with (after only having symptoms for less than a year) after completing a 3 question survey. Working with my physio it is clear my pain is from disc problems. I feel like I have been given the diagnosis of a chronic condition for the sake of trying to explain my pain without actually anything useful I can do to move forward. And personally I’m glad that insurance covered this experience because I would be even more frustrated paying that amount of money outright for an experience which quite literally feels like a scam.

We had such a wonderful experience with Paediatric Diagnostics. Both of my children (aged 2 and 11) needed blood tests and a faecal calprotectin test, and I was honestly dreading it — especially for my toddler. But the team were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. They took their time and never rushed us, making sure both children were completely at ease. The staff were so kind, patient, and reassuring, and their calm approach made what could have been a really stressful experience feel relaxed and positive. The clinic itself is so thoughtfully set up — from the toys and little treats to the drinks and friendly atmosphere, everything is designed to make children (and parents!) feel comfortable. I can’t thank them enough for turning something I thought would be traumatic into such a calm and even happy experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Paediatric Diagnostics to any family.

Appointment was at 4:30pm and was told surgery should be at 5:15, after about an hours wait we're told the anesthesiologist has not been told hes working today so isn't there. We were told we'd have to reschedule. Then 5 minutes later we were told to wait and their on their way in so the surgery could be the same day. The anesthesiologist then came in without having read the notes of the surgery and was going to put me under when I only needed an arm block. He had a bad attitude clearly from being called in at about 8pm. The rest of the evening went smoothly but I had to wait till around 9pm to eat again & was did not feel at ease when being prepared for theatre and had to be given anxiety medication as I was very stressed by the anesthesiologists attitude. However the doctor that preformed the surgery and the nurses on the ward were incredibly kind and informative to help keep calm

I had been experiencing some knee pain so contacted after seeing an advertisement in the gym and lady on the phone recommended how I could have a 15 minute free consultation. Dan contacted the following day and after giving a couple of possibilities of what he said it sounded like suggested a face to face appointment. This was then scheduled for the following week. From the assessment Dan could pin point what was wrong and set me up with some exercises to try and see if it helped. He gave me advise of continuing to do the activities I enjoyed but if the pain level got to 5 or above to reduce or stop. From the exercises and advise that Dan gave me my knee pain declined then completely went. I had my next appointment 3 weeks later and received some more advice on exercises to try to prevent future injuries.

The whole process from consultation to post-operative follow up was clearly explained and handled with great professionalism. The procedure went smoothly, and my recovery has been going well so far. Dr kindly managed to squeeze me in for the surgery on the date I hoped for, which made things easier for me and I appreciate that. I saw Professor Branley on the 31st of October for an annual review of my sarcoidosis. As always, he gave me a clear explanation and reassurance that the condition is stable. I have been under review by Professor Branley since this diagnosis in December 2022 he is always very accommodating with arranging appointments around my busy work schedule. As I also need this review for employment reasons it is very helpful to have someone who is organised and provides all the information required as soon as he has finished his review.

The nurses and assistants were wonderful. The surgeon who performed my procedure however did not listen to me. I was told beforehand that if I experienced any pain I could tell him and he would stop but this did not happen and I ended up crying in pain with a nurse trying to comfort me while he proceeded to ignore me. I’ve found the experience traumatic
