Excellent care - Cannot fault how Ms Adams and Mr Parker and their teams looked after my mother before, during and after her operation. We paid personally for the operation (~£40k) but our experience with the billing and payments and the wider admin team is in a complete mess. We had to pay up front for everything prior to admission, which was ok, but unexpected (could have been better communicated to us, rather than a sentence lost in some paperwork), and fairly sure the insurance companies which they usually deal with wouldn't do this. One of the payments/billing team then visited my mother in her hospital bed, 4 days after a major abdominal surgery and started demanding more money verbally (to be paid that evening/the next day) with no paperwork/invoice/backup). Some things weren't done as part of the operation and the Consultant messaged us to say that it should be discounted, but no adjustment has been made. I have requested detailed backup on numerous occasions, and nothing has come through. A real shame that the medical and care team have been let down by the Cleveland back office on this occasion.

Here is a polished, clearer version of your text: ⸻ Firstly, I would like to thank Dr. Jagwant Singh. I broke my collarbone four years ago and had a titanium plate fitted at Whipps Cross Hospital. Since that operation, my shoulder had been in constant pain. After numerous hospital visits and rounds of physiotherapy, I was repeatedly told there was nothing wrong and that I would simply have to live with it. I was then recommended to Dr. Jagwant Singh, and from my very first appointment he recognised that something wasn’t right. He immediately sent me for an MRI scan, which revealed a bicep tear and a labral tear. He arranged the necessary surgery and successfully repaired my shoulder. I cannot thank Dr. Jagwant Singh enough. I’m now eight weeks post-op, the pain has almost completely gone, and my movement has nearly returned. From the first visit, Dr. Singh explained everything clearly, never rushed, and always took the time to answer all my questions.

A good post surgery follow up appointment with Miss Spanu. Explained the sebaceous cyst that was excised in surgery was benign, which gives peace of mind was not hiding something potentially more serious. On inspecting the wound area confirmed it had been healing well and gave advice regarding being able to stretch normally and return to exercising again. It was unfortunate Miss Spanu also noticed some prolene stiches had not been removed fully by a Nurse from a previous appointment 2 weeks prior. Miss Spanu removed them and ensured the wound area was cleaned and dressed properly. The surgery itself 4 weeks prior was quick and efficient. Under local anaesthetic there was a good level of communication throughout and explanation on what was happening. There was no discomfort throughout or following the surgery. It has been very good experience from first to last appointment with Miss Spanu.

I was treated like a king. Everything that could possibly was done for me. The doctors keeping such a close watch over me after surgery. The surgery was done by Dr. Ruebendra Jaganathan who I would say is one of the best surgeon in the world. His team of totally professionals were amazing caring and compassionate human beings as was the nurses. The food from the kitchen was so delicious and shall I not forget the physio team who were so caring and helped me so much. I was amazed that such care exists. I trusted them all because of the way they made me feel safe and in good hands at a very worrying time in my life. The cleanliness of the hospital was also beyond anything that I have ever seen. I came for a complete tight hip replacement. Staff were all friendly and answered all my questions. Was taken t my room, unpacked got dressed as required. Put on my dressing gown and then read my book. Was taken into pre prep surgery, chatted to the anesthetist and other nurses. Was then moved into the surgery. Operation went well, I was kept up to date during the procedure. I was listening to music throughout. No pain at all, at the end met the surgeons and chatted with them. Went to the recoveryward for about and hour, chatted with the nurses and relaxed. Then taken back to my room and relaxed.

I recently had a hysterectomy at this hospital the surgeon was brilliant but during my stay in the hospital I was appalled by how I was treated. Staff were friendly but some of them when I needed them ignored me. A specialist nurse from my consultant had to advocate for me. Upon discharge, one of my stitches had been left in which then went on to cause other issues. I was then chased severally for payment when I had made clear and provided authorisation codes from my insurer. I was not impressed with service from the hospital itself at all. But my consultant was brilliant.
