I have been under the care of Dr Robin Laurence for 10 years , Robin diagnosed me saved my life from one of the most dangerous horrific forms of Bipolar and depresion illness that rarely people survive or doctors can treat not only did he save my life he has been involved in me rebuilding my life he has had my back and been in my corner and gone to any lengths possible with the upmost kindness and respect ,when ever I have needed his help he has been there one of the greatest gifts he and 96 harley street has given me is the gift of hope against an illness that tried to kill me through suicide where I did not want to live for that I am ever gratefull.I would also like it to be known the practice of 96 Harley street and there staff also hold the same principles as Robin there service and professionalism is second to none but it also based on compassion and firm principles of integrity honesty and genuine care.Battling a mental illness can be a question of a life or death battle I was also misdiagnosed by the NHS and Robins diagnosis and expertise was the correct one and path I followed and I am only here today because of it.Lastly I would like to say Robin has allways worked allongside me in my treatment and the Dr patient team work has been the difference of make or break.Writing this today I am on the caribean coast in Mexicos paradise alive safe and well it took years to get to this point but both myself and Robin never gave up.Thank you with Love Robin Laurance and all at 96 Harley street .

My doctors are always amazing and when ive had a serious procedure they have been excellent. Only minor thing id say is once the doctor hands over to the team of nurses etc it felt as though they werent sure what to do with me. I was sent for bloods then asked to go to the main hospital then told to go to ground floor then someone else was able to sort out my appointments. When I couldve resolved a few things on the day I went, it ended up having to make appointments for everything. I was given a urine sample kit to take with me. I kinda wish my bloods and urine would have all been completed on the day as they have the facility and there was time as I sat on the chair for a few minutes before they apologised and told me id have to go to the main hospital. I think when its one thing to do, its pretty straight forward but when theres a few things to book in I was handed from one nurse to another to anothert and in the end I left having to change my appointments. They are all lovely but feels as though they are missing some direction and considering that the patient may already be a bit anxious about the visit. Otherwise its always a good experience

I recently had bilateral cataract surgery. From start to finish the treatment I received was excellent. The patient liaison manager was really helpful, friendly, incredibly supportive and a welcome calming influence. I was amazed by the state of the art optical equipment that was available to ensure that my lenses were perfectly suited to the dimensions of my eyes and my prescription, as well as the care that the technicians took while taking the measurements. The optometrists I saw were caring and informative, ensuring that I knew about the different types of intra ocular lenses available and what I may expect from them. They carried out my eye tests with care and patience. The eye surgeon was incredibly experienced and very skilled, and carried out the procedure very efficiently with great care. Now, six weeks post-surgery, I am very grateful of the care I received and the quality and clarity of my lenses; both aspects easily surpassed all my expectations. Bilateral cataract surgery – an excellent experience from start to finish. The improvement in my vision has been remarkable—not only is everything much clearer, but my previous short-sightedness and astigmatism have also been fully corrected. Night driving, which was previously very difficult and something I had to restrict significantly, is now effortless. My distance and intermediate vision are pin-sharp. From the outset, Mr Gudsoorkar explained clearly that my eyes were not suitable for lenses providing reading vision, and that I would still require reading glasses. He reassured me that inexpensive off-the-shelf reading glasses would be perfectly adequate, which has saved me over £400 a year compared to my previous prescription glasses. I’m extremely pleased with both the outcome and the care I received throughout.

Positive perks - the waiting room had adjustable height chairs meaning I didn't have to struggle getting in and out of chairs! Dr Chinoy didn't judge me, or make me feel rushed or that I was an inconvenience (something I have grown accustomed to from the nhs). Despite my symptoms not fitting in with his specialities he recommended a colleague who he feels confident would be able to meet my needs. Although private care is hard on my wallet as a self funder, the advice, treatment and service I received overall made it more than worthwhile.

Staff at both the receptions were welcoming , No waiting time . Saw the specialist regarding ongoing issues with my knees and toes, and the he was extremely helpful and informative. He took the time to clearly explain what was happening, walking me through the MRI images in a way that was easy to understand. All available options were discussed thoroughly, including injections and physiotherapy, and I felt fully informed throughout the appointment. . Overall, a very positive and supportive experience.

I chose Dr Mahida for my atrial fibrillation ablation for 2 main reasons. 1. He does high volume work and 2. He has excellent patient reviews. As it turned out, it was a superb choice. He is such a nice man, talks calmly and exudes confidence. The operation itself was a success so far, 3 months without A Fib. The incision in the groin was minor and healed very quickly. I felt in safe hands from the moment I met him. A top doctor in every respect. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

Very good ,only thing is after surgery and just before final appointment I was asked for my bank details I had paid everything last Nov a month before my surgery they agreed everything was paid but wanted to have a bank card on record ,Why ? I was asked again when I went to see mr smith for my final check up ,absolutely no need if front of other people when I didn't owe anything it made me feel like I owed something even though she said it was a token just to have it on record
