My experience has been nothing short of exceptional. My initial contact was with Tracey Lomax (Manager), and from the very beginning she offered a level of care and attention that truly stood out. I had written a long list of questions—around eight—and she took the time to highlight and respond to every single one. When I later sent even more questions regarding my chosen procedure (a Coronary CT Angiogram), she continued to provide thorough, reassuring answers. My intention was simply to undergo a non-invasive heart assessment at the age of 53—much like purchasing travel insurance, you prepare for the worst but hope for the best. Tracey reassured me that this was absolutely the right place for such an assessment. I had already enquired with two other providers, including Alliance Medical, but their responses felt robotic and impersonal. The level of genuine care here made all the difference. I also want to highlight the professionalism of the radiologist, who carried out the scan with great precision and made me feel completely at ease throughout the procedure. In addition, the nurse who took my blood samples three days prior to the scan was equally kind and professional—and the fact that these pre-scan blood tests were fully included in the cost was a significant and appreciated gesture. Dr. Gavin Lewis was the consultant who saw me both before and after the scan, with the consultation arranged on the same day. His explanation of the results was clear, calm, and reassuring. Both my wife and I left feeling confident about the future and grateful for the guidance he provided—including helpful advice on maintaining a healthy heart and speaking with my GP about medication adjustments. The final report arrived at my home within seven days, and a copy was also sent directly to my GP. My medication was promptly reviewed, updated, and delivered straight to my home. I am taking the time to write such a detailed review because they genuinely deserve it. They put real effort into caring for me, and I want to acknowledge that level of dedication. During both the initial consultation and following procedure, Dr Muir was a pleasure to visit and was instrumental in my dealing with a long standing problem that had been negatively affecting my quality of life since I was very young. My initial examination and diagnosis was swift, professional, and Gordon explained everything very clearly and in such a way that put me at ease with the procedure I had been recommended. The procedure was booked in very efficiently and I was able to have it done barely two weeks after the consultation, thanks to Mr Muir’s excellent and responsive broader team. I received great care from Mr Muir and his team on the day of my surgery, as well as immediately following, before being discharged. Unfortunately, as is apparently relatively common with this type of procedure I developed a minor infection during recovery. However I was quickly booked in for a follow up, seen to quickly, examined and promptly prescribed the necessary medication which cleared the infection up within a week. Further to this, during my recovery period I was able to easily get in touch with Mr Muir and his office, for general advice, quick checkups and reassurance. Having now completed my journey with Dr Muir and his team I am very grateful to them all and am looking forward to this next chapter in my life, with the numerous health benefits gained from my treatment. I would highly recommend Dr Muir to anyone who requires any form of urological treatment, they will be very well looked after.

Tucked away, the clinic had a bright and airy interior. A warm welcome greeted me at the door and I was swiftly directed to reception. Unlike some medical waiting areas it felt comfortable and homely. I noted they had security was at the entrance, which was reassuring. A cheerful receptionist checked me in efficiently. The waiting area was pleasant, offering a variety of hot drinks including still and sparkling water, biscuits and snacks. I asked for a taxi on leaving and the lady at reception explained they didn’t have a direct telephone number, but would get a colleague to wave one down for me. Very thoughtful.

Holly House and its staff are excellent. The whole atmosphere was one of cleanliness, professionalism and friendliness Particular mention should go to Mo, my nurse throughout the day. He was calm, honest and made me feel comfortable and that my concerns were listened to. A great asset to the staff. (My only complaint was I was told to arrive at 6.30am, as I was to be first on the list at 7.30am; to then be told my operation would not be until midday. I didn't even bring a book! However, I did get to watch four episodes of Frasier back-to-back, so it wasn't all bad!)

I was seeking a progress review as I was 6 weeks into a 12 week treatment plan and wanted to know that things were on track. I was offered a catch up appointment or a tel con review, either to occur within the hour but I agreed to send in some photo's via email. I received a call back from Mr Sidloff within 10 minutes of emailing him in which he was able to reassure me that all looked fine and there was no need for me to see him before the end of Jan 2026, unless I had a concern. So, 10 out of 10 for the speed and helpfulness of his response.

My daughter had her tonsils removed here last week. The whole experience was amazing. The room that she was brought too was lovely and so clean . The staff were all so nice and put her at ease . The car park is a little problematic...quite full. Spaces tight making it hard to get out of the car with hip/ knee problems. Receptionists always polite ,friendly and helpful.....as are all staff.
