I visited the hospital to see an orthopaedic surgeon after having a fall at work and damaging my knee. I have had issue with it since the accident I suffered at work.I was advised to lodge a claim with my employers insurance. This I did because of the problems I am having with my knee. I was sent to see this gentleman so he could assess the damage to my knee. I was treated as if I was only there because I was lodging a claim and to have recompense for the damage I suffered and still am. He seemed very abrupt and I felt as though I was cross examined over the form I had filled in regarding my injury. I left the room feeling like I had done something extremely bad and wrong. I have never had to go through this scenario and very much hope not to have to go through another. I am a patient who has an injury that I am advised my a consultant needs an operation yet I was treated though I was feigning injury. I do not feel valued having attend at the one hospital.

I have visited Daniela at Sonoworld on many occasions since 2020 for various reasons / body areas to be scanned. Sometimes for routine checking and at other times, via doctor recommendation. Daniela is always very thorough, kind and her room is spotlessly clean. She has always made me feel at ease when explaining her findings. She clearly has many many years of experience and knowledge. She always goes above and beyond and has followed up with me via email and phone call, especially when she could tell that I was anxious. I have been to other Ultrasound clinics in Central London and I have always found that they are more expensive (for no better service) and more importantly, they always try to upsell more of their services, not something that I believe is appropriate when it comes to health. Daniela has seen myself and friends of mine at short notice, and I will always continue to recommend Daniela and Sonoworld to anyone who requires an ultrasound.

Professor Iain Bruce performed an adenotonsillectomy on our four-year-old, and we were thoroughly impressed from start to finish. From the initial consultation through pre-op, the operation itself, and post-op care, everything was handled with exceptional professionalism and care. Nothing was ever too much trouble, every question was answered thoroughly, and the procedure was explained in a clear, reassuring way. All of the staff at Spire Hospital were incredibly friendly and supportive, which made the entire experience much less daunting for both us and our son. Our son has healed very well, and we’ve noticed a marked improvement in his sleep, snoring, and ability to concentrate during the day. We would not hesitate to recommend Professor Iain Bruce and would return in a heartbeat if we ever needed to.

From the moment I arrived at reception until I left at the end of my assessment I was treated really well. Reception staff were really friendly and respectful and explained the paperwork to be completed and assured me that the wait would not be too long. I was called within 5 minutes by the first nurse who carried out all the necessary basic checks explaining everything really clearly. She then sent me back to the waiting area until the doctors were ready to do the final assessment again I only waited about 5 minutes before I was called to the examination room. The doctor explained really clearly what all the tests were for and what would happen when the procedure was to be done. A very pleasant experience from start to finish

My son attended for squint surgery on both eyes. Mr Yeo and his team were amazing and as a family we can not thank him enough. They made my 12 year old son feel at ease and explained everything they were going to do in a clear and professinal manner. Even after the surgery a member of Mr Yeo's team came to explain the next steps in my son's post-operative care. Thank you for taking such good care of our son and for all you have done. It is very much appreciated and I know this surgery will have a massive impact on the social aspect of his future as before this surgery his squint had started to impact on the things he enjoyed such as sports. He now can't wait to get back on the football pictch once he has recovered :)

The surgery itself went smoothly and I felt I was in extremely capable and professional hands throughout. This was my second visit to this hospital,and as it was on the 1st visit,I can only add praise on the staff,nurses consultants,seating area with coffee machine,the receptionist was so polite and helpful as well as being friendly and smiling.It was comfortably warm on a cold day,always a nervous person even for an xray.but left the hospital with all the information I needed,and feeling calm and confident on my visit. Must add that Mr Richard Slack is a very approachable person that put me imediately at my ease.and answered all my concerns very confidently,with a very caring side also,I wish I could use those hospital for all my health issues,100%! Thankyou.

I always find the receptionists at The Holly difficult to deal with. The booking in experience is poor as one often has to wait for ages whilst the receptionists are on the phone or chatting or apparently doing something on their computers. It is a pity as the doctors and nurses and other staff including the porters at The Holly are extremely good. The receptionists in both the outpatients area and the scan receptionists need better training and better management. I would say however that the GP area receptionists and the front desk receptionists are very nice and very helpful so I have no issues with them.

The surgeon I chose to do my breast augmentation surgery on December 8th 2025 was friendly and professional in consultation. He was honest about my expectations and explained everything start to finish on how to get the results I want considering I was asymetrical and had no breast tissue. Surgery wasnt bad at all and I am more than happy with the results (7 weeks post op) I had no infection, no side effects of the surgery, everything went perfectly and I healed quickly. My scars look so small and I am now holiday ready Thank you Dr Parkash Lohana for your hard work!

He patiently examined my throat with explanations of each step and responses to my concerns. To ascertain the cause, he also discussed with me some of my eating and drinking habits that could contribute to the symptoms. I left the consultation with a eased mood and confidence in elimininating the symptoms with his diagnosis and prescription.

Mr Sabur Malek

I would recommend Mr Malek to anyone considering hip replacement surgery. He is very friendly, approachable and reassuring. I have a small scar ( about 6”) which is very neat and a lot less than other people I know who have had the same operation. I was advised to prepare (exercise) and follow up well (exercises) which I did and I think this helped my recovery. I hope I don’t need surgery again but if I did I would go back to Mr Malek.

Always very friendly, attentive, a well-stocked childrens waiting room. On this latest visit we did have a slightly bizzare situation where we arrived, were checked in, weighed and measured, and put into the waiting room. We then received a phonecall - from the next room - explaining that we were late for our appointment. They were very embarrassed and there was no harm at all. Funny though!
