Through the NHS at Leicester General hospital I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer (Gleason 4+3) in June 2023, and I was advised that I should consider radical treatment of radiotherapy and hormone therapy or indeed a radical Prostatectomy. Following this I researched the results of these procedures and learnt of a few side effects and patient experience stories that were rather unsettling. Besides this it seemed that there could be quite a wait before treatment would actually start. So, i carried out further research on possible alternatives which is when I read about Mr Nigam and the NanoKnife procedure. I subsequently contacted Mr Nigam, had a consultation and elected to go forward with the procedure on 18th August 2023. This was carried out efficiently and effectively - I walked in just before lunchtime, and walked out around 6.00pm the same day. I then travelled to the station and caught the train home. I only had a few days of slight discomfort but then quickly recovered to the extent that I was able to travel to Scotland for a few days Salmon fishing a fortnight later (and I even caught fish).

Appointment was at 4:30pm and was told surgery should be at 5:15, after about an hours wait we're told the anesthesiologist has not been told hes working today so isn't there. We were told we'd have to reschedule. Then 5 minutes later we were told to wait and their on their way in so the surgery could be the same day. The anesthesiologist then came in without having read the notes of the surgery and was going to put me under when I only needed an arm block. He had a bad attitude clearly from being called in at about 8pm. The rest of the evening went smoothly but I had to wait till around 9pm to eat again & was did not feel at ease when being prepared for theatre and had to be given anxiety medication as I was very stressed by the anesthesiologists attitude. However the doctor that preformed the surgery and the nurses on the ward were incredibly kind and informative to help keep calm

I can only grade my experience with Dr Bodiwala as excellent!. Dr Bodiwala was really professional and from the begining he explained the procedure i required, answered all my queries and eased my worries. He kept me informed of the test results and timelines. He carried out the surgery succesfully (kidney stone removal) and according to plan with minimal discomfort. As a result, I feel my recovery was rapid. He clearly explained post surgery risks and recovery expectations. I would definetively trust Dr Bodiwala and will be recomending him in the future!! I am ever so grateful to Dr Bodiwala for removing my kidney stone and offer such a great quality of treatment. Truly amazing!!

My initial appointment was to have a checkup to explore the feasibility of having veneers placing over my existing top row of front teeth. I was so impressed with everything that was done from the first visit to the finl fitting visit. Everything that was done was explained to me in fine detail. The owner of the practice, Stephen Dodd, is the ultimate professional. I guess you would call him a Supreme Dental Technician!!! His staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at ease. I was so so pleased with the end result of visits and I would highly recommend the prctice.

Steven is an excellent and empathetic therapist. After having several bad experiences with other therapists I met Steven and immediately felt at ease. Steven listens and is non judgemental. When I first started working with him earlier in the year following a traumatic car crash, I thought I would never drive again. Using EMDR therapy, it has taken hard work but I am now back to driving for which I will forever be grateful. I hope this gives hope to anyone in a similar scenario, and encourages you to reach out for help.

My husband and I both saw Rekesh and are really impressed. A first class ear specialist who from the outset listens attentively, explains clearly and makes you feel at ease. My hearing test and wax removal from both ears were pain-free even though there was some wax on my actual eardrum. My husband got great advice on how to manage with wax buildup in his ears and on what to do and importantly not to do & when to have it removed. Highly recommended.

I arrived with a little time in hand, and was pleased to be given the relevant eye tests right away. These completed, I had only a few minutes before Mr Strouthidis himself shook my hand and invited to his office, where he carried out his examination. The results were good and I was able to settle my accounts without delay. Everyone was polite, friendly and helpful. One of the eye tests was rather ucomfortable, but that seems to be par for the course.

We had been to the mourne clinic on previous pregnancies but this was our first visit to the new premises. It was absolutely gorgeous, such a lovely welcome and a beautiful waiting area with water and tea facilities available for patients. The scan room itself was very big and spacious and had lovely comfy seats for partners to sit on. The staff on reception and performing the scan were so friendly and professional. It was a wonderful experience.

Can be unnecessarily condescending and cause friction within the group and personally. However, is consistent at calling out unhelpful behaviour from other peer members. Should perhaps consider if the power dressing and power trips are conducive to creating trusting relationships with clients. Provides excellent information on the science behind addiction which is extremely helpful for understanding the nature of the illness.
