Admin efficiency Things didn't get off to a great start when there seemed to be an issue regarding what my insurance would cover, even though I had received two confirmations from the insurer over the phone and one confirmation by email. I felt a bit like a criminal and that I was lying about the treatment being covered. In the end, the insurer had to phone Practice Plus direct to sort it out, because no-one would believe that I was telling the truth. I've never come across this problem before at the Spire or the Nuffield. Usually the admin trail works very smoothly. Cleanliness The carpet in the waiting area is dirty and is covered in tea/coffee stains. There were pubic hairs on the toilet seat in one of the toilets by the waiting area. Not great at all. Waiting Time I am a private patient and I usually use the Spire in Bristol or the Nuffield, which run to time. My appointment for an injection was 30minutes late. Unacceptable. Staff To be fair, some of the staff are lovely. But some of the staff are downright rude. When I went to speak to one of the receptionists after waiting for my appointment for over 20minutes, I simply asked to check that I was on the system. The answer "yes". Oh I said, it's just that I haven't been called yet. Is there a delay? The answer "yes" - and a roll of the eyes to say "yes and your problem with that is??" I have to have another appointment at some point, so let's hope that my next experience is better.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Ajai Seth, and I can't recommend him highly enough! My actual surgical procedure was as explained to me pre operatively , making me feel relaxed and calm throughout . The surgical outcome from my particular procedure is amazing with virtually no visible scars , a testament to Mr Pereiras vast surgical experience and talent . I cannot recommend Regain Aesthetics highly enough and would definitely recommend to friends and family without hesitation .

4 weeks after undergoing Cataract surgery (with a different practitioner) I suddenly experienced a large increase in floaters in my vision. I was referred to see Mr Ho who saw me on the same day. After examining my eye Mr Ho advised that I needed to have urgent Retinal Detachment surgery and booked me in for the procedure on the same day. Naturally this was a worrying sequence of events for me, however Mr Ho was able to help make me feel very relaxed through his clear and calm approach. The procedure went very well and has been a great success! Throughout my recovery Mr Ho has maintained close contact and has been available at anytime if I have needed some advice on how to manage the recovery period. Nothing has been too much trouble, Mr Ho has kept me informed throughout.

I had LASIK surgery with Allon Barsam yesterday, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. My vision feels unbelievably clear, almost like seeing through the eyes of a superhero. Allon guided me through every step of the procedure as it was happening, which made the entire experience feel calm, safe, and reassuring. The surgery was genuinely painless; there was one brief moment of discomfort that lasted no more than 10 seconds, and he calmly counted down the seconds so I knew exactly what to expect. My eyes stung a little afterwards, but after a short nap I woke up feeling completely fine. If you’re considering laser eye surgery, I can’t recommend it highly enough. I had a check up and cleaning from the dentist Sonia. What a marvellous professional and friendly person. I am extremely nervous at dentist but Sonoa went above a beyond to make me at easy. She transmitted me calm and I'd never ever thought to feel calm at the dentist. I only hope she will not leave as well. I am so tired of OSD turnover of staff it's very stressful for me getting used to someone and than change it. I went at 11 weeks for a scan and for a NIPT test. The booking process was excellent, the members on the phone were so helpful and considerate. My appointment with Dr Desi was on time and extremely thorough. She was so compassionate, caring and kind throughout the appointment, explaining everything each step of the way and being extremely thorough through the scan and explaining our NIPT options. It’s the best consulting experience I’ve had throughout my pregnancy. Reception staff were extremely helpful too. I would really recommend LPC to any expecting couples. Dr Salvia is very friendly and made me feel comfortable. She didn’t make me feel rushed and set my mind at rest regarding the issues I consulted her about. She recommended a comprehensive blood test when I told her I was taking iron on my own initiative and explained a dizziness problem and took appropriate action regarding a toenail issue. possibly a fungus. (She called me with the blood tests results within 36 hours). To sum up Dr Salvia is very professional and thorough and it was a pleasure to consult with her.

It was a private appoint & I paid for the ILR device. That was fine but I have been disappointed with the follow up since which seems to provide no reassurance that the ILR results are being looked at / reviewed so it is a case of assuming "no news is good news". In my view this is poor, if not unsatisfactory and it seems to me an initial 3 month review email followed by half yearly emails would be welcomed by patients. Also issue of contact phone numbers would be helpful e.g. technical. episode queries

Dr Bakshi - THANK YOU!!! I read the other reviews and wondered if the clinic's reputation was too good to be true. I have been on NHS waiting lists for years and they have misdiagnosed me and fobbed me off with cheap options. Dr Bakshi said he immediately knew the problem and showed me a video, leaflets and even research papers explaining my problem. Thank you very much - 6 stars if possible!
