I was informed in the email sent for my first appointment that the consultation would take approx one to one and a half hrs maybe more if I was having tests. I saw the consultant and had the tests, this took no more than 10-15 minutes. In my experience of having private consultation I don’t think this was a consultation, I was told someone will call me and give me details of the treatment, I was not given a time or day when this phone call would take place. I tried to ask questions about the treatment but was told they would explain all to me in the phone call. I called next day as I had other commitments the following days and weeks and may have missed their call. I was given the information about the treatment on the phone, I asked if I was paying for this phone call and was told that I would not be charged. I was charged and paid for the tests on the day, after the phone call I later received an invoice for the consultation of £300, so basically I was charged for a phone consultation as I don’t believe I got a consultation on the day that warranted this amount of money. I am really disappointed with this kind of service, I believe if I’m paying for a private consultation I should be given the time face to face so that I can ask questions and understand the treatment that I will be paying for. This was not NHS where you are only allocated a small amount of time, which is why I am so disappointed with this service and the costs which is unwarranted.

I had breast implants replacement with Dr. Metin, after 7 years from my first breast implant procedure, as I had a rupture of one of them. I was really nervous and anxious at the beginning but, from my first appointment with Dr. Metin, I felt in reliable hands. We had an extensive pre-surgery conversation where everything about the procedure was explained in details, all my questions answered in a very professional and friendly way. The procedure went smoothly. The follow-up medical checks were well organised and I felt well supported after the procedure. I’m extremely happy and satisfied with the result, my breast looks much better and more natural compared with the result of my first procedure. I had an ADHD evaluation at Diverse Minds Clinic. I did some research before booking, and I chose Diverse Minds Clinic since the psychiatrist, Dr Alex Cappai, also works for the NHS ADHD service. Dr. Alex Cappai listened to me and made me feel heard. She was quite friendly, and I felt at ease during the assessment. I was diagnosed with Adult ADHD mixed type in my fifties, which was a bittersweet finding. Dr. Cappai provided me with practical counsel that was extremely beneficial, as well as the time I needed to comprehend my diagnosis. The staff at Diverse Minds Clinic have been really professional and helpful throughout the process, and I would strongly suggest this service.

We were lucky enough to get into the appointment before our allotted time. Mr Mohammad seemed like a very nice person, but I felt very rushed, I wasn’t shown the MRI scan, The situation was not explained to us in depth,just offered options of an injection or surgery involving “metal work” which scared me somewhat. So I chose the injection as seemed a less scary choice to start with. We were told this would be put forward, then we left , all taking about five minutes, not really very reassuring. Hopefully I may get another chance for someone to explain what the operation with the “ metal work” would involve. So I would feel more confident with what needs to be done

I spent 3 days at the Royal Free PPU as an in-patient following major surgery and I have nothing but praise for the treatment I recieved from start to finish. My surgery was scheduled speedily, the operation went as well as hoped, and all of the PPU team members who took care of me - Consultants, Doctors, Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Housekeeping - were professional but at the same time, kind and reassuring. I was really anxious about the surgery and for me, the care that I received as an in-patient, made the whole experience so much less stressful.

She always sends notes after our sessions which is useful in making sure I keep track of what I should be doing.

Friendly staff at Main Reception who gave clear directions to Imaging Department. Department staff were friendly, professional and efficient. Radiographer was great - clear with his questions and explanations. Changing room was a good size, but would benefit from redecoration and coat hooks/hangers would be useful. Overall, a good experience, but would have liked the report to have been sent to the referrer quicker.
