The cardiac MRI itself was conducted efficiently, but what truly set this experience apart was the time and care taken afterwards to explain the results. The findings were explained clearly, systematically, and in a way that was both thorough and easy to understand, without being rushed or patronising - this shouldn’t be taken for granted! I’ve had previous imaging visits where I didn’t feel like I fully understood the results or the next steps. Every question I had was addressed thoughtfully, with clear reasoning and genuine engagement. I truly felt heard by Dr Howard. It was obvious that this was a clinician with deep expertise, but also someone who places real value on patient understanding and reassurance. I left the appointment feeling fully informed, confident in the conclusions, and reassured about my future care. I felt like I received outstanding clinical care, combining excellent diagnostic expertise with exceptional communication and genuine warmth. After seriously injuring both ankles and a long recovery, it was a complete game changer when I started treatment with my physio Steph. She was friendly and professional and quickly put me at my ease. Steph was both flexible and methodical in her approach, measuring my progress, returning to exercises regularly, which I found helpful in maintaining my focus and my momentum. Steph was responsive and adjusted exercises where necessary but generally this was not needed as she pitched the pace and level of activity to be suitably challenging. Steph was goal orientated, encouraging and solution focused. It felt like I had a clear pathway to recovery and that Steph was really committed to my well-being and focused on helping me get the best outcomes. The centre have a range of treatments available including massage, podiatry and Pilates classes so that I could benefit from a holistic approach to my injuries. Steph has explained things well to me as we have gone along so that I have understood the rationale which I have really appreciated. I cannot express enough the professionalism and dedication to patient care from Mr Abdulsattar. It was my pleasure to meet with him again to discuss my new hip problems having met him in May 2024 and had my first hip replacement surgery in September 2024. Which incidentally was a first class experience despite the discomfort following the surgery. He reassured me and discussed the recent x ray Of my other hip and agreed that currently I do not require surgery but I would be able to contact his department within the next year if needed. I saw 3 different consultants two through local hospitals and paid privately for a third opinion over 3 years previously to referral to Practice plus at Barlborough. None were willing to free me from pain give and me a hip replacement. This is truly a very pleasant clinic. All staff put you at ease and treat you very well. I had an upper endoscopy performed by Dr Craig Mowat. He is a really patient, polite and conscientious professional man who listened to my concerns and talked me through them. He was very thorough and suggested how I could relive my symptoms mean time until my procedure, which was only a few weeks later. He explained exactly what would happen. The experience was very calm and I was put at ease. Dr Mowat told me of his findings immediately after the procedure and called me to discuss biopsy results a couple of weeks later. The whole experience was calm and quickly put my fears to rest. Thank you very much for lifting a huge weight off my mind - I can now get back to enjoying life!

I went as an NHS referral for cataracts and they explained about the various options for both NHS and private. As I work full time and do a lot of computer work I decided to pay to have Rayone Galaxy toric lenses. I am so pleased with the result. After wearing glasses since early teens I am now glasses free! Mr Injarie and all the staff at the clinic were friendly and professional and made you feel at ease. Mr Injarie took time to explain everything and obviously is a brilliant surgeon. I can't thank them enough. I was so nervous about having eye surgery but from start to finish I felt in very safe hands. I would highly recommend.

Had shoulder surgery as a day case, all went really well. 8 weeks later I was still in considerable pain and went for follow up appointment with Mr Jain. He fully explained what had been done to my shoulder and showed me photographs taken during the operation and said that the pain I was in was to be expected bearing in mind how much work I’d had done. His words gave me more confidence to move my arm more than I had been doing and four weeks later I’ve now been signed off and have great flexibility in my arm, most importantly of all pain-free flexibility.

I had an extremely worthwhile appointment discussion with Dr Cowburn regarding my progressively deteriorating condition and the reasons for same. Dr Cowburn checked me out, including ECG, reviewed potential options and we agreed a plan to move forward, Dr Cowburn will also investigate the potential for me to participate in a forthcoming 'blind' trial of a new drug for mitigating the effects of long-termm heart failure. As always, it was a pleasure to see Dr Cowburn, I am very happy with the care he provides and his 'to the point but friendly' approach.

I really like the Cromwell Hospital in Kensington London. It's clean modern well organised and I like the consultants. The nursing care is absolutely fabulous and the nurses overall are highly trained and experienced. The pharmacy is efficient and staff are super helpful and the registration staff are terribly nice and helpful. 10/10.

I stayed overnight and was treated very well. All the nursing staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. My room was clean and well appointed. The only meal I had was breakfast which was excellent quality. I was given clear advice on being discharged.
