I wanted to share my experience with Mr Gan in the hope it helps other women who may be facing complex gynaecological surgery, including hysterectomy, or living with severe endometriosis. From the very first consultation, Mr Gan was calm, knowledgeable, and genuinely reassuring. He took the time to listen properly, never rushed my questions, and explained everything clearly and honestly — including the complexity of my condition, the reasons a hysterectomy was recommended, and what surgery would realistically involve. I always felt heard and respected, which is so important when you’re already feeling anxious and vulnerable. I underwent extensive surgery under Mr Gan’s care, including excision of deep infiltrating endometriosis and a hysterectomy. Throughout the entire process he demonstrated outstanding professionalism and expertise. He was thorough, confident, and clearly highly experienced in managing complex endometriosis cases and major gynaecological surgery. Mr Gan combines clinical excellence with genuine compassion — something that makes a huge difference to patient wellbeing. I am deeply grateful for his care and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone facing a hysterectomy or complex gynaecological surgery for endometriosis. From beginning to end what a warm and comforting environment. I don’t think the people that make the difference always get the feedback they deserve. Mr Basu was extremely kind and even referred to my dad in his call as he’s just passed away and I’d mentioned him. Sarah gascoigne from my initial call to book me in for my vacuum assisted biopsy I’ll add I suffer with anxiety and even though dreading it her personality and the way she spoke to me on email calls and holding my hand / leg lol just made the process possible. Shamima was also so kind and supportive and finally Dr Telesca you were so lovely and approached me in the best way possible so professional yet warming and just made me feel it was going to be ok. His approach was highly professional and thorough. Dr Vakalis personally carried out the main diagnostic procedures, which I believe is extremely valuable, as it allows the treating doctor to gain a more complete and accurate understanding of the patient’s condition. During the appointment, Dr Vakalis did not rush the consultation but instead took the time to carefully examine the issue and devote sufficient attention to my concerns. Thanks to his competent and thoughtful approach, one of the possible causes was successfully ruled out. I am very grateful for his attentive and professional care.

I have been with the practice for a number of years and have mostly been pleased with the experience. The only thing I have a problem with is that the staff of all kinds do not speak loudly enough. There is always a lot of noise from machines etc. and soft voices, and sometimes accents, make it difficult to understand., especially when it has a medical content. Also nobody seems to understand that they should make sure the patient is comfortable, as the chairs vary in design and all do not adjust when required. Otherwise I am pleased to have found the practice many years ago and have gone through a good few different staff members in that time, so the experience has been interesting, despite the stairs! I am lucky to have good teeth.

Once home after my cardioversion, he phoned me daily later telling me to phone him if I had any worries or concerns. I cannot fault him regarding his post procedure care and thoughtfulness. I consider myself extremely fortunate that, by chance, I chose Dr. Khwanda to be my cardiologist and in whom I have gained complete trust. He is very competent, professional, has the respect of his team, explains treatments and necessary medications in laymen’s terms and very importantly, treats his patients with the greatest care and concern. I went as an NHS referral for cataracts and they explained about the various options for both NHS and private. As I work full time and do a lot of computer work I decided to pay to have Rayone Galaxy toric lenses. I am so pleased with the result. After wearing glasses since early teens I am now glasses free! Mr Injarie and all the staff at the clinic were friendly and professional and made you feel at ease. Mr Injarie took time to explain everything and obviously is a brilliant surgeon. I can't thank them enough. I was so nervous about having eye surgery but from start to finish I felt in very safe hands. I would highly recommend.

So I wasn’t made ware how drastic the set up would be for my 2.5 year old toddler - actually quite a scary thing to deal with for such a small person, and had I’d known I would have managed him better leading up to it. I also had to calibrate a lead in middle of the night, and the surgical tape used did not come off easily so as you can imagine he was screaming when I was taking off the leads in the morning and there wasn’t any help with this - on his face/hair etc so it was very painful for him - it was actually horrible. Please give some ‘Eaze off’ to patients - or warn patients about this.

I’ve been seeing Rokhsaneh for a year and the change has been outstanding. She has helped me immensely with my health and everything has been positive since I met her. She always welcomes my questions and takes the time to explain things, which is incredibly helpful to me. My last visit was just like the others: she took the time to understand what was going on, connected it with notes from my previous appointments and warmly proceeded with the acupuncture. I left the visit feeling better, stronger and genuinely cared for, as always.

My experiences at the Lister hospital were generally positive. The facilities are clean and modern. The wait time was variable but generally ok. There wasn't much continuity in the nursing and sonography staff I saw which is a shame, and the quality was variable, but in general most of my experiences were with skilled and knowledgeable staff. On a few occasions I wasn't entirely confident in the nurse or sonographer treating me.

I was happy about the appointment and MRI.But approaching for the report,it is too difficult.I tried to contact via the phone around 8 times but no answer.In the evening I managed to speak to someone.I sent all the requirements by email to get reports but I haven’t received the reports until Wednesday morning. Wednesday midday tried again but still same ,no one answering the phone..still waiting for the response.
