I required surgery to remove a cyst. I am always somewhat intimidated by private healthcare services, never knowing what to expect. I met Dr Sabatini and straight away I felt at ease. He was very thorough in explaining the process, the steps and answering any questions I had. But most importantly, he was friendly and warm, which I found endearing. Surgery is such a scary situation that having a matter-of-fact doctor would make the whole process even scarier. However, Dr Sabatini put me at so much ease, I had no worries or stresses after meeting with him. I would also like to point out that having had many uncomfortable internal scans before, the best and most gentle and comfortable scan I have ever had was the one carried out by Dr Sabatini during my initial consulation. On the day of the surgery, he was very professional and caring. I felt completely looked after and I felt happy that I was in safe hands. The surgery itself was difficult and complicated but of course, Dr Sabatini completed it successfully. He was very sensitive and empathetic after the surgery and made sure to visit me at intervals to check that I was alright. He answered all my questions and was friendly and accommodating to my family. He was just as professional and caring at the follow-up consulation. I made a full recovery, and could not have asked for a better experience. If I were to require surgery like this again, I would not hesitate to ask Dr Sabatini. He is golden. Mr Malek approach to patients is really good. He explains everything so well and really cares. I had an hip replacement October 2025 and the way it was all planned was really good and made it so much easier for me . All the pre opp procedure was organised on the day of my hip replacement date . My procedure again was really good so informative with what to expect and all went just as I told it would .Tjis really puts your mind at ease . Cannot believe how small the cut was given I had a new hip which helped it heal in no time and I was up and walking within a week and five weeks later played golf again just fantastic. The whole experience from my first consultation with Mr Malek to now has been first class . Would certainly recommend him to anyone who is worried about picking the right person . Recent visit was ok. My Nurses could have been better organised. On arrival no one was there to greet me despite being told to be there at 7.30 am I wasn’t told no one could come up and wait with you or be present after my procedure. The room for pre theatre and after theatre was far too small for 3 beds to be in it. It was also flat too hot in the room making me feel worse.. Unprepared for someone feeling unwell after the procedure. I did feel very rushed after my procedure despite feeling unwell! The doctor on shift however was very good. Nurses rushing to finish their shift in theatre to hand me over made me feel uneasy. Nurse looking after me rushing me out the door as it was past 8pm. I was worried about leaving as still felt pretty unwel. Overall was not tailored to my needs Surgeon & anaesthetist very good can’t fault them at all. Made me feel very at ease before my procedure.

I have been a client of the surgery for many years going back to when Johnathan Richardson set up the practice just off Wilson's Corner. I continued to use the surgery when premises were established in Shenfield. It was when I experienced heart problems some 5 years ago that I found Dr. Athreya to be particularly helpful. He offered his private cell phone number should I need help or advice at this difficult time prior to surgery. This literally proved a lifeline. I saw Dr. Athreya on 4th December this year and as usual he was able to diagnose the problem and prescribe a treatment plan. Dr Athreya is an experienced, knowledgeable practitioner and a credit to the team at EPD. He puts patients at ease and is interested in their experiences. I was sorry to hear he was leaving for I feel sure he will be sorely missed.

David Lawrence came off his Easter holiday 2013 to do emergency surgery for me with his team. OF course anyone who has facilitated an extension of your life is going to become somewhat special in your life!. in every interaction with this focused human being I have experienced a gentle and precise focus and clarity. I am always quite amazed at the time he has given me as an NHS patient, He has responded to every email and concern I have had for almost 12 years now!. Last year I had to have some sternum wires removed and he even took it pain himself to match the incision with a Tatoo I had on my skin over my sternum !. HE is a truly dedicated surgeon who just gets on with the job and has enough humanity to be with you , present and available. Than you with all my Heart!

The initial consultation was an evening appointment and I considered it to be expensive. The consultants fee (Dr Kadhim) was £250 (equating to £1000 per hour) Administration fee £35 (for what) and an e.c.g which took all of 5 minutes was £111. Total £396. I was promised by the consultant that Cardioversion would happen before my holiday in mid December but received excuses from admin staff why this could not happen. I kept pestering and eventually received notice at 3.00pm the day before that Cardioversion would occur at 07.30 the following morning. The actual Cardioversion went without hitch, the consultant Dr Menown and his staff were excellent, facilities were good, food was ample and all went well. So do not take no for an answer.

My recent visit was positive as always, everyone is always warm and welcoming from the moment you step into the door. The office is clean and inviting and always decorated according to the season’s festive calendar, which always a nice touch. I admired the snowflakes decal on the windows giving it a cosy festive feel and fairy lights as I was getting my treatment! I have been seeing Lil for years now and she is absolutely amazing, I feel like a different person when I walk out the practice, in the best way possible. Also, if something else is bothering me she always makes time to take a look and do the necessary adjustments or advise on what exercises to do, or see a GP!

Mr Corbett was very friendly , examined my shoulder and then gave me a very clear explanation of what could be causing the pain. I have spinal issues too and Mr Corbett took these fully into account, even including my spinal neurosurgeon in on his clinic letter to me, which was in my email in box by the time i got home 1 hr after my appointment !!! this is very helpful for me as im finding it hard to type. I have a scan over the weekend - Thursday today - then a review with Mr Corbett with scan results on monday morning. Amazing . Very good medical care , fast and focused . Very Highly Recommended by me.

Great experience in general. The whole thing from the emails you get, the appointment scheduling and of course visiting the doctor, all went really smoothly. I saw Dr Antbring who was really lovely and helped me through my journey including the initial scan, sending me for the MRI and helping me to decide and then actually doing the injection and of course a plan for my rehab exercises. Great experience overall. Now I need to wait a week and then start with the rehab and fingers crossed I make a full recovery. I appreciate everything. Thanks again!

Grace waudby took my initial assessment on a video link she took her time and explained every and asked about everything. The assignment was supposed to be 30mins it took longer. When I went in for the viscual assessment she came and introduced herself again. Which was nice she did but never had too.
