The appointment itself was very positive. Dr. Robert Gordon was calm, validating, and genuinely listened. The room was quiet, warm, and set up like a cosy study, which made it feel safe rather than clinical. He explained the diagnostic impressions clearly at the end in a way that finally made sense, and it didn’t feel dismissive. I left feeling understood in a way I haven’t experienced with other services, although the level of positivity felt unexpected and left me a bit uncertain about how to interpret it. The only issue was the arrival process. My appointment was in the late evening, and reception was closed. It wasn’t clear where to check in, and I had no phone signal. I had to rely on Wi-Fi and the website photos to work out where to wait. Overall, despite the initial uncertainty about the building, the clinical experience was extremely positive. Everything went smoothly, and the assessment itself was very professional.

Dr Laura Ismail never ceases to amaze me with each of our consultations. She has been the first doctor to look at me holistically and take each point I tell her about into account. She goes above and beyond, and still looks truly stunning doing it! She has helped me through so many new diagnoses and investigations, always supporting me and checking in. She is never too busy for a phone call or email. Her team are just as kind, empathetic and lovely as she is. The whole team make you feel understood, you can 100% be confident in the care you receive. This is what a doctor who does patient centred care should look up to, she is truly an inspiration to me, I hope to live up to her standard when I qualify. Truly the best medical care I have ever received and continue to receive.

I am so lucky to have been helped by Dr Sanda. From the very first appointment with her, I felt better about my condition. Dr Sanda has helped me to live with tinnitus and not let it ruin my life. Through CBT she has given me the tools to not fear tinnitus. I cannot believe how much better I feel. Of course the tinnitus is there, but by accepting and not fearing it, the brain adapts and I can have long periods of not noticing it. I can sleep with no props. Dr Sanda is also a very kind and approachable doctor. Her advice and explanations make sense. I was so fortunate to have found her at a time when my anxiety was rising. She has taught me that you can feel better with the right help.

I recently had a procedure under the care of Dr Okeke. From the very first appointment, he was very professional and caring towards my symptoms and immediately knew what I needed. He explained everything clearly and reassured me when I was nervous. On the day of the operation, he visited me in my ward before operating to ensure I was feeling ok. His calm, professional and caring approach made me feel like I was in the best hands possible, which helped me to relax. 6 weeks on from my op, everything has healed really well and I’m delighted with the result. Very happy with the set up all round. Consultant amazingly helpful in comparison. He was extremely knowledgeable and very concerned . I liked the fact that he actually listened when I explained my problem. ( Its tedious even for me to hear so I can understand the need to switch off at times)...!...but obviously extremely painful ! The actual appointment with the consultant was about 30 minutes. He examined me and advised medication for immediately and perhaps in the future. Excellent man ,so nice . I recently underwent arthroscopy on my knee with Simon as my consultant. I would rate the service I got from Simon as exceptional. He listened to me patiently and asked me what I wanted out of the consultation. The options available were well explained as were the risks and benefits of each option. Following an MRI, I opted for surgery and on the day Simon popped into my room to chat me through once more what he would do and what would happen afterwards in terms of recovery and rehabilitation. I could not be happier with the way the surgery went and have no hesitation in giving my strongest recommendation for Simon.

Mr Attilakos was incredibly attentive, calm and encouraging every step of the way through our pregnancy. He had endless patience for our first-time parents to be and kept an encyclopaedic knowledge to reassure and take action where needed. During labour, he was very present and warm and we are so incredibly grateful to have him be the one to welcome our daughter. We trust him completely. I walked away from labour with such a positive experience that helped buoy me into those delicate newborn weeks with strength and confidence, and Mr Attilakos was a large reason for that.

Extremely impressive level of care. My husband arrived for a scheduled appointment with our two daughters. The little one did not have an appointment, but had felt unwell during the night. The staff were able to see her and treat her immediately. She would otherwise have had a very difficult time of it, and we were incredibly grateful for their care and attention. Amazing staff (Daniela, Semi) and doctors!!! Doctor Liong Mee Hi was wonderful with our daughter, prescribing the right mix of things to help get her back on track immediately. Very impressive!

My overall experience was excellent, from the reception staff, being taken to the room, the 1:1 pre-operative discussions with Dr Lowe and Dr Barnard, to the nursing staff (continuity of the nursing staff and Daisy's approach and empathy), the theatre team and the post procedure care. I mentioned to Dr Lowe how impressed I was with the communication between the theatre team, which provided a great deal of confidence. I should also mention how well they communicated with me on a 1:1 basis explaining what they were doing.

Mr Swamy is a kind, sincere and excellent surgeon, who performed stunning major back surgery over many hours. I felt very much looked after from my very first consultation right through until my discharge home. His ability and patience in answering our many questions was amazing, keeping me informed through many X-rays, MRIs etc exactly what had happened to my back and how he was going to rectify it. This was my first experience of the Hillsborough Private Clinic and the staff were very professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. While this is an older style building is was well set out and immaculately clean and while I appreciate that space is at a premium a groundlevel toilet facility would be an asset as while I have no mobility issues I can see where climbing stairs to the bathroom could be an issue for some.

No surgery, skin looks healthy and certain skin conditions can get worse after meeting she didn’t take specimen for biopsy. Because the wound is healing naturally and looks healthy. Keep it moisturised.
