I went in today for my first ever colonoscopy. Although I was nervous, every staff member I met made me feel comfortable and at ease. there was a brief 10 minute wait before I saw the nurse, who was very informative about the procedure and took some recordings (blood pressure, heart rate etc.) before asking me some questions. After not very long at all I went into the room to have my procedure and Samer and his team were excellent in talking me through the process, what I might experience, and how long it would be. They regularly checked in on me throughout to ask how I was doing. Regarding the colonoscopy itself - overall I felt no pain at all really - some discomfort from the gas (which they make you aware of) but otherwise it was fine. I chose sedation rather than gas & air, and found this worked well for me. It is an odd sensation in general; but manageable. The procedure took maybe 20 minutes, before I was moved to recovery. The recovery nurse & all staff members there were very friendly. They read me my report, made sure I understood the results, and gave me some biscuits and squash (which I was grateful for after 24H of not eating!) - I was out from here after around 20 minutes, having no notable lingering side effects from either the medication or procedure. Overall, fantastic service from everyone. Thank you so much.

Hi My time with glenda was superb , since the start of my sessions i was greeted with great compassion. Glenda has a great ability to dig up issues that made me feel i was in the right place. When i was diagnosed with depression ,anxiety ,ptsd and finally adhd glenda started with my adhd issues first which we worked together to finally understand my feelings and also understand who i was . Glenda has really helped me with talking about my depression in a big way as i thought it was just normal to feel sucidal all the time and thinking real bad things in my mind. I have always known there was something not quite right since when i was young but again i thought it was normal but glenda taught me to understand that things i did and have done over the years were not so normal . I felt i was in good hands with glenda and like to thanks her again for helping me at such a bad time in my life , and if anyone else in this world needs that help glenda is there to help. I am now in a better place

He has shown a level of care and attention that I have not experienced previously and I have seen many consultants over the years. I required a right hip revision and was experiencing huge discomfort. Mr Sahemey recognised this and took the time to listen to my lived experience. He was meticulous in his planning and preparation for my revision and this included testing for infection, learning from my previous operations and putting in place a treatment plan to support a speedy recovery. Mr Sahemey has been respectful, open and honest with me in our face to face conversations and his written communication has been responsive, timely and straightforward. In short I cannot recommend Mr Sahemey highly enough; his care and skilful intervention has quite simply changed my life.

Honestly, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly friendly and efficient, and the attention to detail really stood out. The clinic is thoughtfully designed to appeal to all ages — my 8 year old was quite apprehensive beforehand but ran straight in as soon as she spotted the Rubik’s cubes. The doctor was warm and approachable, and I was genuinely surprised to receive his report within just a few hours of the appointment. I injured my back the week before Christmas — I could not even walk with the pain. I emailed Dr Swan over the weekend not expecting a response until Monday. I should’ve known from my previous experiences that he really cares about his patients and their outcomes so I was not surprised when he called me at home in the evening to discuss what I could do to immediately to relieve the spasm and a plan of next steps for investigations and treatment. I could not think of a safer pair of hands to be in when you are in severe pain and dealing with a spinal injury.

This was a streamlined procedure which was informative and accommodating at every point. The admitting process was thorough and welcoming. The surgical team under Mr Ieong were professional, friendly and reassuring. The surgery alleviated the chronic pain I had been suffering and this was evident even in the recovery room! I find Mr Ieong accurately knowledgeable and very personable. I would recommend him for any foot and ankle diagnosis and treatment. He has a wealth of experience to support this comment.

I found the reception at ground floor level the only weakness as I was left standing feeling a bit aimless when no one else was at the desk and also I reported someone had been sick in a toilet sink and I was just letting them know, whilst I did not want gratitude for reporting it some greater acknowledgement and action might have been expected. Anyway most importantly Dr Woodland receptionist area and staff on his floor were excellent as they were for Dr Power.

The August visit followed about 5 years struggle with an ulcer on my big toe, which had resulted in me being unable to swim or bath/ shower easily.
