Dr Bradley Powell is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Director of Regal Private Therapy Practice, based in the Harley Street medical district. He offers in-person and online appointments for adults, adolescents and children, delivering evidence-based psychological care within a discreet, outcome-focused private setting.
He supports individuals with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, stress-related difficulties and significant life transitions. His approach is collaborative, structured and personalised, combining clinical rigour with careful attention to each person’s lived experience. Treatment plans are NICE-aligned and grounded in measurable progress, without losing the nuance that meaningful psychological work requires.
Dr Powell has particular expertise in the assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism and ADHD. His diagnostic pathways are structured, comprehensive and neuro-affirmative, integrating developmental history, standardised assessment tools and cognitive profiling where appropriate. He works with both young people and adults, including high-achieving professionals navigating demanding careers.
His therapeutic training includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), trauma-focused approaches and mindfulness-based interventions. While CBT often provides the framework, he adapts his methods to the individual, integrating approaches in a way that is clinically coherent and tailored.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Powell is a published researcher with peer-reviewed articles and national conference presentations. He is a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society, an HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist, and an accredited CBT therapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
He welcomes both self-funding and privately insured patients to Regal Private Therapy Practice.

I have found Dr. Bradley Powell to be a highly learned professional, possessing a uniquely impressive ability to provide clients with the necessary skills to effectively tackle the problems they face. I have felt much more confident in my ability to tackle the issues I face since working with Dr. Powell, with each session providing me with new and helpful tools. I highly recommend his services.
Dr. Powell is a very talented person. He intuitively understood our difficult situation with our child, and offered very relevant and helpful insights. He is likeable and relatable which are two qualities one does not often encounter in the doctors of his kind, in my experience. He performed an autism assessment on our child, which was extremely thorough and covered many different topics and reactive situations which left us feeling very confident about his findings. We would both highly recommend him to anyone who would require guidance, assistance and help with complex psychological problem or any problems of that kind.
I've been seeing Dr. Powell for a few months, he's playin a crucial role in the management of my lifelong depression and anxiety. He also delivered a comprehensive ADHD assessment, a very insightful report and helped me uncover patterns in my behaviour which were trapping me in bad moods. I couldn't recommend Dr. Powell enough - he's always on time, always gives me a few extra minutes, creates a safe space for introspection. He has an outstanding memory and is genuinely engaged in conversation.
Bradley Powell is very thorough and a great therapist .
I’ve had great support from Dr Powell. It’s clear he’s motivated by genuine care and commitment to the wellbeing of his clients. I initially came to therapy while dealing with significant health challenges, and he’s taken a holistic approach in supporting me through them. He is insightful and clever, with a warm, reassuring manner that makes it easy to open up. His approach is very engaged. He offers active guidance, remembers important details and treats you as an individual. Dr Powell has a rare ability to make you feel both completely at ease and meaningfully challenged at the same time. Most of all, he is authentic - something I think is essential in a therapist. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
Dr Powell has always been an understanding, professional, and caring psychologist. Throughout our sessions for OCD he provided me with excellent advice and information about OCD and how to better control the compulsions and I have made remarkable progress. I would recommend Dr Powell to anyone suffering from any degree of OCD.
Dr Bradley was amazing and so empathetic a very good listener
I’m really grateful to have found Bradley. He remembers the little details I mention and brings them back into our conversations in a way that makes me feel genuinely understood and heard. I always have the sense that he’s on my team and truly cares about my wellbeing. I first went to him while off work with burnout and anxiety, and later after receiving an ADHD diagnosis. He supported me through the initial rest and recovery, and then helped me look at the longer-term patterns that contributed to the burnout in the first place. What I appreciate most is how he gently pushes me toward progress while also helping me recognise the steps I’ve already taken. I can be very all-or-nothing in my thinking, and he’s helped me find a kinder, more balanced middle ground. I’d worked with other therapists before and never felt like they really “got” me. Bradley manages to empathise deeply, even with experiences quite different from his own, and because he listens so carefully and thinks things through so well, his support always feels specific and relevant to me. I’d highly recommend him.
I would recommend Bradley in a heartbeat. He’s very genuine and kind. He gives you space to open up and listens with complete attention to what you say. Working with him has left me in a much more positive state.
