Mr Ayman Abdelkader

After years of disappointment waiting for surgery and being let down along the way, I truly believe things only worked out the way they did because I was eventually placed under the care of Mr Abdelkader. From the start, he was very clear about the plan for my open myomectomy. Previous doctors had only planned to remove one fibroid, but Mr Abdelkader explained that he would remove as many as possible during surgery and he did exactly that. His transparency and honesty gave me a lot of confidence going into the procedure. He was both professional and compassionate throughout the process. After the surgery, he checked on me and clearly explained the next steps in my recovery, which I really appreciated. He identified something unexpected during surgery and made sure it was properly flagged for further investigation. I’m very grateful for his thoroughness and attention to detail. He also did an amazing job with the incision! Massive thanks to him.

As a person, Dr Abdelkader is a very kind, professional, respectful and empathetic gynecologist. The only thing I found after my Biopsy 2days ago was that I wasn't informed that I could be in pain afterwards. That then came as a shock to me when I started having significant pains on the day which then became worse days after, and I had to seek medical help. That was the reason for rating my overall experience as a 3 star, every other thing about the consultant was a 5 star

Doctor Mr Ayman patiently explained me all the doubts I asked him . Revealed my endo diagnosis in a very professional and calming manner that helped to reduce my stress.

Ayman was brilliant, very patient and kind. I didn't feel rushed and I'm very happy with the experience and advice received.

Dr Abdelkader spent the time to explain where the lesions where and how that affected me. He also, draw an explanation of why I am experiencing pains on the left side when it 's situated on my right. I felt like my questions were heard and that he had the time to help me understand and explain. I walked away feeling like I understood the diagnosis I'd been given unlike the previous doctor assigned to me. He listened and advised on what type of physical training I should and shouldn't do and why that would impact me. We discussed the next options and I feel I understand and I am happy to make a the decision on the information I'd been given. I didn't feel like I was being rushed through the appointment and really do feel happy with the course of treatment I am moving on to. Thank you for listening to me Doctor Abdelkader.
